Jasper Jasper was glad she had accepted his proposal for the day. Would make life that much easier. Even happier to hear she wouldn't be closing.. He nodded, watching her move away with a chuckle. After she left, Jasper began to get to work. He leaned back in the booth, placing his feet up on the seat on the other side, and began to make a crude outline with the knife against the wood. His eyes wandered around the cafe as more people came and went.
He stopped, putting tools to the side when Cadence brought food, "This looks like a feast." Jasp let his feet drop back to the ground, and motioned for her to sit, "Eat some with me?" After saying that he grabbed a piece of toast, dipping it in the yolk spreading around his plate. He nodded at her comment about Orion, "See he came around."However Jasper knew the man would still have words for him. He was just glad the two half siblings would be on good terms.

Cadence looked around, quiet again for the moment. She sat down and helped herself to some fruit. She knew he liked the company, but a bigger part of the invite was his need to make sure she ate. Funny to her because her whole life she had never been a sit and eat type.
She remembered as a child her Mother use to chase her and beg her to sit and eat for just five minutes. She would eat a bite or two and be off! Running, jumping, climbing and just being the high energy handful she was. Now it was different, she had to sit and eat. Be aware of what and how much she was eating. "Fruit, delicious!" She ate a piece of cantaloupe. " Yeah, surprised that he did honestly."

Jasper He smiled as she sat down across from him and bgan eating some of the fruit. As hard as it was for her, if she could stop and eat every few hours, it would probably be better. Maybe even easier working at the dinner then sitting down to three large meals. And although fruit wasn't a meal, it was something healthy.
As she brought up her surprise at her brother's antics, he shrugged, "Maybe Grace talked to him or something." Jasper continued to eat the food on his plate. It was all good; a big meal for sure. He looked up to Cadie, "What time do you get off tonight?"
Jasper finished his plate and set to work again. He sipped at his coffee intermittently. And once he had finished the shape of the first figure, he packed his things up. He knew the lunch crowd would be moving in soon. Jasp walked behind the counter to find Cadie, wrapped an arm around her waist, then kissed her cheek."I'll be back in a few hours. Call if you need anything." He told her before exiting, and driving over to the club. Leaving things inside the truck he walked in. Those not working in the shop, seemed to mostly just be getting out of bed or starting to get things started for the party that night.

Cadence ate and chatted with Jasper for a bit. She was unable to stay long since she had to het back to work. "I am off at 5. So see you a little after that." She gave him a kiss that was a bit sweet and fruity from the fruit she had eaten.
Roger heard Jasper announce he was leaving after he came behind the counter. He poked his head out the kitchen. "Bye Jasper, it was nice to finally meet you." He retreated into the kitchen. Giving his co-worker some privacy with her male companion.
Once Jasp was gone Cadie threw herself into her work. She focused on the lunch rush. It wasn't that bad since she had a killer team.
Orion was helping move furniture at the Club. He stopped Jasper and called out to him. "Here to help us Pryde?" The twins were bickering about where to move a table.

Jasper Jasper turned when he heard a familiar voice call his name. His blue eyes saw Orion with the two twins. Just who he was looking for. Quickly his body moved towards the three. Speaking over the bickering of the brothers, he asked,"Sure. What else we gotta move and where?" As he moved to lift the piece of furniture Orion pointed to next, Jasp looked over to the twins, "Did you get my text this morning? Interesting ain't it?

Location: Dereck's Company: Dereck Wearing: Wearing It was towards the end of the lunch time, that Maralyn took her lunch break. As usual she like to take lunch late. She had more energy in the morning; found it easier to keep working. While in the afternoon her mind wandered more, and was just ready to be done. So short afternoons were best, even when she worked close to close.
Lyn stepped out of the clinic in Shadow Creek, and walked down the road to the diner Cadie worked at. Yes she could have taken the truck, but it was a nice day for a walk and besides why should she waste the gas? However that also meant she left her bag and therefore gun in the truck. She wouldn't leave it in the clinic unattended, nor was she going to carry it down the street. Especially not the gun in the open.
Entering the diner, she saw the place was starting to thin out from the previous lunch rush. She took a seat at the counter, and waited for Cadie to come by. "Hey Cadie, How you doing today?"

"Very interesting." Gloom responded as he reached over and shoved his twin. "No comment." Doom answered and shoved his brother back. "Dumb a**!" " Hey, you two! Go grab Moira so we can see how she wants everything set up. She keeps changing her mind." Orion sent the twins away partly because their fighting was giving him a headache, partly because he was sure Jasper had come looking for him. "Did you take care of whoever did that?" He asked calmly. He seemed much calmer and chill today.

Jasper Jasper couldn't help but laugh at the two twins antics. He wondered how they would take that news. The Reapers weren't exactly the enemy anymore, but there certainly was still tension between the groups. And one did seem more bothered than the other. Then again the two were party animals, so could just be a hang over.
As Orion told the two to get Moira to see how things should be set up, Jasp turned back tot he President of the club. To answer his question, he nodded,"Yea, I took care of it." Did he beat the living s**t out of the sheriff like he knew Orion wanted? Well no he didn't. But he did make sure the man would think twice before coming after Cadence again. Especially if Jasp stayed around her, or had someone near. Plus that restraining order he would have to talk to her about putting out. "He shouldn't be stepping near her again."

Cadence did a double take then smiled at her friend. She walked over to her and handed her a Menu. "Hey, visiting the Cafe finally huh?" She stood by the table with a genuine smile on her face. The make up did a lot to cover the worst of the Sheriff's handy work. "Your first Angel bash tonight huh?" Her hazel eyes were sparkling, and today she just seemed to be radiating happiness.

(On my phone y'all <3 )
Grace had ended up taking Isabelle to be with Orion's aunt, who had been wanting to spend some time with the infant anyways. After doing that, she took herself around town, running a few errands. She ended up at the hospital, where her boss approved her some time off, and one of her coworkers took her into an empty room to perform the ultrasound. It turns out that Grace was right about how far along she thought she was, and the ultrasound revealed that she was indeed about 11 weeks along. The heartbeat was nice and strong, and everything looked good. They even gave her some print outs of the baby for her to keep. Once she was done doing that, she went by her house to have a quick lunch, as well as to place an ultrasound picture on her fridge. As she was on the way to stop by the club, to bring Orion some lunch, Grace was pulled over by the Sheriff. She did as she was supposed to, and when he approached her window she offered him a smile, keeping her hands firmly on the wheel. "Hey sheriff. I'm sorry, I'm not entirely sure why you pulled me over.." She swallowed thickly, just thinking about what this man had done to Cadie. Though, he looked like he had been beaten pretty badly as well. Which was probably from Jasper. Serves him right, especially for putting his hands on a woman.
The Sheriff leaned against her car, ducking down so that his face was a little inside of her window as he looked around. "You know, I didn't pull you over cuz you were speeding or anything. I went by your house earlier and you weren't home. Just wanted to ask you a few questions.." He narrowed his eyes at the lunchbox that was sitting in her passenger seat, before requesting that Grace step outside of the car for a moment. Once she did as he asked, he closed her door firmly and requested that she turn around, with her hands on the car and her legs spread apart. Grace furrowed her eyebrows at the man, opening her mouth to protest. "But I am wearing a dress..." He glared at her, and placed his hand on the gazer that was on his hip. "You don't want to disobey an officer of the law, do you?" Grace cleared her threat and did what he asked, cringing as he ran his hands along her sides, and even up and down each leg. When he was finished, he took a step back from Grace and allowed her to turn around and face him, and he placed his hand on the other side of her head on the car. "Everyone knows you are with the Cruz boy. The leader of the Angels. It had come to our attention that they are the prime suspects in the disappearance of Alex...name ring a bell?" Grace pressed herself against her car, and shook her head to his question. "I have no idea what you are talking about..." As soon abs the words left her mouth, the sheriff sucked on his teeth, pacing back and forth in front of Grace for a few moments.

Location: Dereck's Company: Dereck Wearing: Wearing Maralyn smiled to her friend, "My, you are having a good day today. You're radiating. And who did your make-up? I need to hire her next time I need a cover up." It barely looked like anything had really happened to the dark haired woman. Which, with her public job, was probably a good thing. Lyn glanced at the menu,"Yea, Someone keeps telling me I should stop by. Can i just get a water and.... a grilled cheese?"
As Cadence mentioned the Angels, Lyn looked around the establishment for any of the mentioned men. In fact she was shocked to see none. When she turned back to the other girl, a slight blush crept into her cheeks, "Yea, it would be. But not sure I'm going to make it there tonight." She took a sip of her water calmly, waiting to see if her friend would explode telling her she had to go and insist for a reason why she wasn't. That is if she was going to do that. Perhaps she knew the answer already. Couldn't be that hard, not like Lyn had a booming social life.

Dereck was sad to see Lyn go, but he knew that she was going to be spending the night with him again tonight, so it wasn't that bittersweet to see her go. He had a night to look forward to, and that made the first half of his day seem to go by quickly. He worked on a few cars, and was even called to go pick up some payment from one of the places he offered his 'protection' services. Business was thriving in the club, which meant that everyone was happy. Everyone was getting paid. Upon eating lunch, Dereck pulled out his cellphone, deciding to text Lyn. Things had slowed down at the shop, so he now had some extra time on his hands.
Hey beautiful. Hope your day is going well. Got a big paycheck today...figured we could go out to dinner or a movie tonight?

Orion nodded, seemingly satisfied for the moment. He felt like a d**k for having to be the one to say what he was going to say, but it had to be done. "I like you as Pryde, not Jasper. The lines are becoming blurred. I don't want you hanging about Cadence. I have to be honest about this all. When I first found out you were messing with her, my intial reaction was to come after you. She was, and really still is off bounds. She is my half sister, younger one at that. It is my job to look out for her. That means making sure assholes, dicks and traah don't go near her. Once I calmed down I realized in all honesty your not a bad guy. So I tried to be okay with it. I figured Cadie would not survive here in our jungle. She is too jealous, insecure and mouthy. She wouldn't take anyone's s**t, so I thought you two would burn out fast. I was still pissed you didn't tell me. Then....I was furious when I found out she was pregnant. She is not ready to be a parent. She is wild, likes to party and has absolutely no focus in life right now. She needs a bit more time to mature. You two aren't going to work out. She can't be tamed, you definitely won't be able to keep her in line. Your smart, hard working, but honestly your just too soft for someone like her. It is apparent you can't keep her safe either. I mean I am sure whoever went after her is sorry they did, it should never have happened though." He paused feeling like s**t. "I think you should focus on the Club. Leave her alone. She won't be around for long anyway. The Club needs you. Needs us all here and focused. We can't allow things or people to continue to distract us. I have already been looking around for a nice quiet place for Cadence to relocate too. She will be able to get her life together, and the baby will be in a very safe town. It will benefit them both, and she will have plenty of help with the baby. The baby won't end up as possible collateral damage in this war we are in." Orion knew Jasper may not agree 100% with what he was saying, but he had to admit a baby what not been in his plans. A relationship with Cadence had not been in the plans. Now Jasper found himself with two major things, or people in his life that would be demanding his attention. Attention he could not afford to give right now. He fiddled with his lighter. "I want you focused on the MC, I don't mean to come off as an a*****e. I love my sister, I love my Club, I love my Brothers. I am hating feeling like I have to choose which is more important to me. I don't have to choose if they never cross over. I can't keep wondering in my mind if she or not her baby is going to be at risk because of something I ask you to do. I can't be the one responsible if something happens to you. She will never forgive me. We are on rocky ground as is."
Cadence quickly jotted down the order. "No problem! I will put your order in!" She walked off to place the order and then returned to Maralyn. "Oh....I did my make up. Years of experience in covering bruises.Radiating? Hmm...Maybe my good mood is shining through. I am working on tying up some loose ends in my life. One of them was successfully tied up this morning, so....maybe that it is." She gave a coy little smile. Not wanting to say anything about Jasper and her decision. She was afraid of jinxing it.
When Maralyn admitted she wasn't going to the party Cadie's great mood deflated just a bit. She had been looking forward to maybe hanging with both friends for a little while tonight. She wasn't planning to stay long at the party since she was exhausted and had work the next day. Jasper didn't know since she had never actually told him, but she was working doubles for another three days. "Really?! Your not going?! Ohhhhh!!! Bummer!" She pouted, unable to hide her disppointment. "Maybe next time...?" She asked a bit hopeful. She didn't want to jump to conclusions but she was wondering if Dereck had said something bad about Cadence to Lyn. If he did Cadie was sure she would eventually hear about it. Once she was certain that was indeed the problem she would confront him about it. Grace's brother, and Maralyn's current play thing or not. She would not allow him to talk crap about her, nor destroy any friendships she had with the other women.
She untied and retied her apron a bit tighter. Then gave Lyn a small smile as she turned away. "Anyway...I will let you go. Your food will be out shortly!" She called over her shoulder as she walked back over to the counter.

Jasper Jasper tensed as Orion began talking about his and Cadie's relationship. He knew the man had never approved, would never approve. That's why they kept it from him in the beginning. "With all respect, Ryder, I don't think you really have a say anymore if Cadence and I are together. I understand she's your little sister, and you gotta do what you need to protect her. But I won't ever hurt her." Jasper shoved his hands into his pockets, and took a breath before continuing. His eyes didn't leave Orion's. Sure he was trying to reply as respectfully as he could to the man. He did respect him, and he had let him in the club. But Jasp also wasn't going to let someone else decide who he could be with and who he couldn't."Look, man. We are all grown adults. At first it wasn't anything serious, so I conceded to her wish of not telling you. Didn't mean to do anything behind your back. But we are all able to make our own choices. And right now I'll be around her as much as possible. She's carrying my child, and I will be apart of it's life."He told the other man with a shrug. Honestly it was how it had begun. And he had loved that little girl for so many years, how could ha have denied her? She had just needed someone. Admitted to that a couple times. But now, at least, it seemed she wanted more. Only time would truly tell if that's how she felt. Even Jasper didn't have any notions of how awfully she fit with this kind of lifestyle. But if they wanted to make it work, who was anyone else to say no?
And then Orion continued. He said he was going to put Cadence away so she could raise the baby. He understood the man's worry. Cadie had that same worry. And yes Jasper hadn't been there the night before when the Sheriff came after her. She was stubborn, that Jasper knew, but... He shook his head. Perhaps the two of them being elsewhere would be better, but Jasper knew that wouldn't let him focus on the club anymore than if they were in town. Probably less. He'd just be waiting until he could see them again. Finally he responded to Orion again, "Look, I know you care for her; I do to. But it's her decision if she wants to stay in town or not. You know she won't stay if she doesn't want to go in the first place. And that could be worse. I chose to be a part of this club, my focus isn't gone. I'm here to help, no? And she knows I chose this life. "

Location: Dereck's Company: Dereck Wearing: Wearing Lyn smiled, "Thanks. Gald things are working out well."For a while it had seemed like the brunette couldn't get a break. Now she sounded like most of her life was figured out. So that was great. Order in life was one step towards a kind of happiness after all.
Lyn nodded her head slowly, "Yea, next time I'll be there, for sure. Hey we should have a girls night sometime. An actual girls night that doesn't get interrupted or is because the MC's are doing something."She told her friend. She wasn't sure if she was still leaving, but it would be good to spend sometime with her again. And Grace if she wanted to come. Lyn wouldn't mind getting to know the girl. Lyn also certainly didn't mind her last night with Dereck or spending time with him. But sometimes and estrogen filled night was something every girl needed. "I'll see you later. Text me when your free."The red head told the brunette as she walked away to go back to work.
As Lyn was waiting for her food, her phone buzzed. She looked down to read the text that was from Dereck and smiled. She quickly texted him back before grabbing the box her food came in and started to walk back to work.'Hey hun. It's been a normal day here. Sounds like yours has been going well. But sure whatever you want to do tonight, I'm game. I'll probably be back around 6:30.'
