He was doing better than expected, but he wasn't sure how much longer this battle could continue like this. It felt like he was balanced on the edge of a knife, and if he took one wrong step, the Heatmor would crush him. Dodging as close as he dared, the Magby attempted a quick Karate Chop.

((19-1)-7)+(8-7) = 13 / 2 = 6 DMG! Sudowoodo takes 2 DMG from poison! Sudowoodo is at 4 HP!
Well, this battle had taken a serious turn for the worse. The Sudowoodo shrieked as the poison poured over her branches, burning into her. She may have been made of stone, but there was still some feeling left in her body. At wit's end, and positive she couldn't hide her away out of this one, the Sudowoodo began to scream a Curse. It wouldn't hurt her opponent, but it WOULD make her feel better.

In the Garden of Monsters
The magby came at Lucifer with a karate chop and Kiani made a split decision. "Lucifer, counter it with a sucker punch." She commanded, watching as Lucifer attempted a counter attack.
The Barboach was either really fast or the Lotad was really slow. Either way as the water pokemon leapt over the Lotad, while he was running back and forth, she was able to successfully grab the berry from the Lotad.
[ TSUNA GAINED A WIKI BERRY! ]
The second Lotad was really focused on the berry as he tossed it up higher and higher. He was slightly bigger then the other two, making him the leader of the group. As Alexander came close, he accidentally knocked into the boy while he tried to catch it with his wooden sword half smashing the berry and knocking it to the ground. Unfortunately, the pokemon added to this by stepping on the half smashed berry squishing it completely. There would be no berry for Alexander. If the boy would look closer, he, along with the Lotad, had smashed an Oran Berry.

Meanwhile, the last Lotad had been having fun doing acrobatics while balancing the berry. He had been attempting a somersault when the Ducklett appeared out of nowhere and startled the Lotad. The pokemon froze long enough for Odette to successfully pluck the berry from on top of the Lotad's head!
[ ODETTE GAINED A SALAC BERRY! ]
The three Lotad would slowly gather around the second Lotad and then start arguing. The first Lotad seemed furious while the third Lotad just looked upset. However, it was the second Lotad which was the leader. After much discussion, the Lotad ran off as a group. It seemed the leader had decided to not make the group fight the horde. Instead they could just go where the berries were in the first place. They would be able to find more. However Alexander and his group were now free to continue moving forward.
Blight would actually fall back as Hiro took a step forward ...as if they both had plan this in silence.
"Your time is running out, I am going to give you another chance."
He declares in an attempt to disrupt the curse as well as catch the pokemon's attention.
"I asked you before, join me, because, if you do so ...I can make you great. Refuse me this time, and I shall take you ...whether you like it or not, and if I am successful ....I will make you regret your decision to fight me."
Hiro would tell her seriously.
"Join me of your own free will, or you will join me ....without it."
"Your choice."

Lucifer failed the counter attack! ( 7-6 ) + ( 8-8 ) = 1 DMG! Lucifer at 9 HP!
The Heatmor's underhanded tactic hadn't worked, but he'd be protect from the natural consequences of the failed counter. The Magby's strike had barely done any damage, but he couldn't help a smile. He'd at least gotten a hit in on the monster, and there was some honor in that. But he couldn't get ahead of himself-- he dodged backwards. adrenaline pulsing through his veins.

The counter attack failed, obviously Kiani and Lucifer still needed to work on their team tactics. He had been hard to defeat and capture, but it seems as if Lucifer was no longer the threat he had once been now that he had a trainer. "Alright then, that was a failure. Try to hit it with incinerate." Kiani commanded. Lucifer was beginning to tire of the battle, he did not like where it was going.

Her concentration broken, the Sudowoodo could only stare at the boy. She'd underestimated him, and she was paying the price. And his offer was tempting... but there was still too much pride in her heart to give in so easily. She shifted back, staring at him, uncertain if she was dodging or giving him more room to throw the ball.
((13-2)-3)+(12-7) = 13 / 2 = 7 DMG! Magby is at 7 HP!
Finally, a hit of Lucifer's would land-- it what a hit it was. The flames licked Magby's body, and while he could resist some of the fire, he still felt pain. He hissed, struggling to his feet from where he'd fallen. Like a punch-drunk boxer, he'd lurch forward to try and Karate Chop his opponent once more!
Silences, the pokemon didn't make any response, and Hiro knew that she could understanding him. So, it was clear as she shift to a defensive stance that she hadn't chosen him ....big mistake.
The boy would waste no chances on losing this mission. He would make sure he had captured at least one pokemon.
But, he would make sure ...she paid for this rejection.
"As you wish,"
Hiro would unclip one pokeball and hurl it at the Sudowoodo. This pokemon he would take with him, as a way to succeed in this mission.
The Shieldon felt smug. That had worked all too well. Any thought beside one of himself was inferior. But instead of admiring his beauty, the Lunatone was going higher and higher into the air... or trying to anyway. The Shieldon looked distraught. What would happen if there wasn't someone to admire him? Would he wilt away or worse gather dust?! No, he couldn't let that happen.
">Come back! Admire me some more!<" The Shieldon would exclaim, running as fast as his legs could carry him and then jumping into the air after the moon pokemon. It was an accidental Tackle, aiming to slam...erm pin the Lunatone to the ground to let it see the full potential of his beauty up close in person!
Hiro would reach down and pick up his new pokemon's pokeball once it stop rocking as he noticed that Blight seemed to be practically glowing. Clipping it to his belt, he couldn't help smiling.
"And, you have gotten stronger ...good, that makes this battle worth it."
He would drop beside Blight. There was no victory dance here, he knew he would capture her, but he had hope it would be by choice and not by force. The second reasoning ...gave him a pokemon he wasn't sure he could completely trust without breaking.
Shifting leaves on her back and examining her head he would smile at her as he hugs her around the neck afterwards.
"You perform beautifully, and we both got stronger. So, Blight."
He would unclip the pokeball and hold it towards her.
"This is Despair, because, to truly make her mine ...I will have to make her experience it. Now, with all of that done, let's get moving."
Blight would only touch the pokeball once with her head and declares Bubba.
Not much Hiro could do with that, but he decided to make it a affirmative in his mind as he releases Blight and stands up. He would recall her, because there was no sense in showing his hand ...as he continued his walk.

It felt like things were getting hotter as he walked. He had managed to succeed partially in his mission, but he had one more thing to do. His hand would seek out the camera that he had slung over his neck hidden by the folds of his jacket.
There was a part of him that wanted to return back the academy to heal, but, that was his weak part. He is the world's strongest and he was more than a bit determined that he would complete the mission on his first try. Also, Blight wasn't hurt enough to warrant such a retreat.
Thus he continued further, and there was a part of him that hope to find water. He could feel himself sweating and the temptation to lose his black jacket was becoming closer and closer to reality.
Though that was another point he wouldn't yield easily.
The world's greatest does not surrender to anything ...even the heat.
Each step seem to take more and more out of him. But, he would not give up ...because reasonably enough .....
the way back had to be longer than the way forward.
At least, that was what he thought.
This hot place couldn't last forever, otherwise, there would be nothing here. No pokemon, nothing but death and destruction, this was Hiro's belief. The belief that help him take each step forward, each step towards his destination ...where ever that might actually be.
He suddenly started to feel a bit foolish about his objective. This was a pretty big island, how exactly did he go about actually finding it. His hand would go the pokeball of his new pokemon, but he didn't have what he needed yet to handle her.
Despair would only be released ....if he was truly desperate at this point.
