The young man chuckled softly when the kitten reacted to him and gently touched their extended paw like a little high five before Hiro seemed to decide he would sleep the entire ride. Without further ado, Saeki carefully carried the carrier to the car and placed it where his boyfriend told him to. After that he took off his overnight bag and placed it with Patrick's in the trunk and smiled to them. "Good idea. Cold drinks is always better." he complimented his love's idea about the cooler. He was surprised by the sudden question though and confusion colored his features as to where that came from. "I have always been told not to pick up hitchhikers. You never know who you let in the car. Or so my father thought." he replied his boyfriend with how he was taught to deal with hitchhikers. It wasn't entirely uncommon for a driver to get into a lot of trouble where the hitchhiker turned out to be a hijacker instead. The young man sat down next to his love in the car and leaned over a bit when they were inside giving them a kiss on their cheek. "This outing will be great, I am glad I can experience it with you and Hiro of course." he said and chuckled softly. After all with Hiro being such a big part of Patrick's life, they also became a big part of Saeki's life.

Saeki smiled as they pulled out and leaned back for the ride. The first half would be Patrick's before he would take over the wheel. The young man was glad to hear that they seemed to share his opinion about hitchhikers though. He was also glad to see they pushed the CD in the radio once they were halted for a while. Of course having seen it now, Saeki could next time if they needed to change CDs. That way his boyfriend wouldn't need to worry about it at all. The trip was comfortable and they could talk along the way. One thing when in a car like this together, you have plenty of time and opportunity to learn more about each other. Once they had their break, Saeki took over the wheel and drove for the rest of the way. His driving was loose enough to where he did have his own style, but not in a bad way.

He was a safe driver who adapted to the traffic rather than to stick to the rules put down to all drivers since that helped with dealing with sudden changes and could avoid accidents. The last the young man wanted was for their trip to be cut short! When he was asked the question and told about the tickets he listened, looking briefly at his boyfriend, but at the same time kept an eye on the road. "Hm, how about we get to the park first? I would love to stop at a restaurant, but I don't think they will allow Hiro in and to leave him waiting in the car..." Saeki replied as he thought about it. He didn't want to leave Hiro in the car by themselves. He thought it unfair to Hiro. "Thanks my love. You thought of everything, I'm glad for it." his reply was to the tickets.

When he glanced at his beloved and saw them relaxing, Saeki smiled gently. However he didn't look away too long. After all he had a road to keep track of. The young man was too safe a driver to allow himself to pay less attention. Not to mention that Patrick was precious to him and Hiro too. Since Saeki was driving now, Patrick was free to operate the radio. The young man hoped that Hiro was comfortable as well. Of course it was a fact they couldn't bring the feline to the restaurant, but that was exactly why Saeki offered to go to the park. That way they could drop off the luggage and Hiro, give him something wonderful to snack on or something fun to play with so he wouldn't be sad. Saeki wanted Hiro to have the weekend of their life too. Even though the feline isn't his, Saeki was always looking for ways to spoil them as well as his boyfriend. He smiled and nodded when his lover replied to their thanks and followed the signs that would lead them to the park and their home for the two days. "That sounds like a good plan. I would hate to leave Hiro waiting for us in the car while we fill our stomachs. At the inn he can wander free through our room and we can place something to eat and drink. Perhaps a toy or three." Saeki replied and smiled gently to Patrick. When he asked about the rides though, Saeki had to think for a moment. They all sounded like great fun. "Hmm, how about we start big and get into a roller coaster first? Or is there a haunted house we can visit to get into the mood early." he offered the other and chuckled. It was nearing Halloween after all. The swordsman turned with the road and onto the lane they had to stick to for a while. It was nice that the ride was going without any issues. No stuck traffic yet or anything. And Saeki had to admit that it felt nice to be on the road again. It had been a while since he drove a car. That said he was used to Japanese traffic symbols and texts so he had spent a few evenings looking through the American ones in preparation. Much like his boyfriend, Saeki wished for this outing to be perfect and he was confident it would be!

It had been a busy time already during their first day of their trip. Their trip to the Amusement Park had been a long one and they had shared the driving hours. Patrick had been the first to take the wheel and Saeki had taken over for the second half of the ride. Put together with their first day in the park being a wild one, as it had been a first visit to it for the young swordsman, they had spent a lot of energy that day. But Saeki had loved every bit of it. That it was together with his boyfriend made it even better. He had fallen asleep rather quickly once they had settled down, especially held warmly in Patrick's arms.

He didn't notice the other had woken up and was playing with his hair. It took him a bit longer than Patrick to stir from his sleep and slowly open his eyes. As his sight came into focus, he was looking straight at his boyfriend and his heart skipped a beat before a gentle smile played over his lips when he noticed they were up as well. "Good morning my love." he said softly before cuddling up to them a bit more not really wanting to get out of bed just yet. Of course he still wanted to go to the amusement park for a second visit, but depending how late it was they might still have some time to spend like this. For now Saeki was content feeling the other's touch and taking in their lovely scent. Being in his half awake state the young man wasn't really thinking like usual yet. Where he is normally quite alert, he now just wanted to stay some more in this blissful moment with his beloved.
