[Courtyard] "I've got bandages," Jordan said, and dug the roll out of his mission bag. "I don't know if I can clear enough space, but you could try," he said to Rep. "s**t," he said a moment later, because Gale was being dragged away by vines, and various other people were getting attacked and falling over. "Here. Hang on." He shoved the bandages into Dawson's hands and headed over to grab at the vines pulling Gale. These vines didn't respond to him, though, and he muttered a curse, not sure if he was doing something wrong or if it had only been within the vine-monster that he'd been able to do something about it. Instead, he hacked at the vines with his knife. HP: 46/60 Dmg to vines: 1 Virus counter: 7 Runics: Bandages Handed off

"It's fine.." He murmured, trying not to think about the pain or the burn. He looked down again at the sickle in hand. ********.. he needed to do something. Something! He cold see familiar faces hurting, fighting, dying in some cases. It was too much all at once with no central focus. He saw Gale, being dragged away and others trying to free him. He saw hunter scattered, no order at all. No leads... and this is what happens. They needed a ******** plan. But Otto wasn't that brainy.. But Gale... "Come on." Otto clapped Chance on the shoulder and ran towards his former rival. He swung down into the vines with his magical sickle.

Before Zeke could finish his next line, a Hunter with glowing green eyes, holding a Runic torch, wandered right into Zeke's line of vision-
- There was a click-
- And then he very courteously set Zeke on fire. Beejoux Zeke is on fire! ON VERY FIRE. - Roll 4d10 to see how much damage you initially take from the flames. The higher the damage, the worse he looks, anywhere from first to third degree burns. Anyone nearby can attempt to help him, by rolling 1d6. Each roll lessens the permanent damage done to him.

Bittiface He swung down into the vines with his magical sickle.
The vines shriveled away-
- And then several others from the wall grabbed onto both Otto and Gale, wrapped around them firmly, and pulled them forward, towards the thorns. OOC (Oops) Otto and Gale are both trapped now by Vine Number 2! It will take 10 damage to save them BOTH. Also, as Otto cannot move his arms, he cannot summon the sickle.

Rep let out another sigh as it went from being Gale in danger to both Gale AND Otto in trouble, twisted up in the seizing vines.
He rolled his eyes, brandished his dagger and went to resignedly try and help. It just wouldn't really do to have one of his favourite people to annoy suddenly die.
Gale could come too, he supposed.

courtyardLucky was ready to refute her again, to say something to prove her wrong about him, and everything, but he couldn't seem to find the words this time. He just stared up at her, breathing raggedly, wondering what she could possibly have thought was worth saving about him. Maybe it was that complete disregard for all logic that made them family. Robert seemed to have the baby situation under control (for a given value of control), and if Lucky was completely honest with himself, it was something he really wanted to not think about or deal with while his internal organs were fighting a battle with the broken pieces of his ribcage. Robert's stare was met with an extremely weak wave of a few fingers. He'd never hear the end of this one, assuming Robert would ever allow him into the infirmary again. He looked up to see Gale tangled in thorns, and almost smiled at the irony. But the idea that he wasn't alone, or abandoned, or left to pick up the broken pieces of his bad decisions by himself, was empowering. It was empowering enough that, out of habit, he made an attempt to stand up- And alarms went in his head for practically his entire body. Bad idea. [ Courtyard - Peyton ] Ian and Chel tried reasoning. Peyton just stayed between the two taller hunters, doing whatever she could to keep Jack's sword from doing much damage. Without actual weapons it wasn't easy. She went for the bag on her hip, skipping over the daggers and instead went for the trap gun. Maybe it wouldn't stop him, but it might slow him down a little. Give them a chance to get the sword away from him. Bringing it up two handed, she spaced her feet and took aim, firing at Jack as he came for Ian again.Guns weren't Peyton's things though, and on top of that she still felt like her head was ready to explode, the headache pounding just behind her eyes. As soon as Evan cleared the ones off Lex, Stormy swiftly moved to the next loudest commotion, which--her heart skipped a beat--involved Gale and Otto being pulled towards the wall. Moving as fast as she could, she hacked at the vines with her knife.

Jordan's appearance was reassuring, because Jordan was levelheaded and calm. Even Otto was met with a look that indicated Gale was glad to see him, though the sickle was a new one. He wasn't sure what entirely that was, but whatever it was...
Gale's mouth fell open as the vines fell away. He made a sound of relief, looking up to say thanks, but never got the chance. A yell escaped him as yet another set of vines wrapped around him, and he kicked and thrashed, trying to free himself with no avail.CHANCE - COURTYARDChance wasn't quite certain that he believed Otto was fine, but he followed after him with a nod and without hesitation, his chest feeling tight. The sickle had worked before, so there should have been no reason as to why it wouldn't work now, right?
Wrong. They were very wrong.
"OTTO!" Chance yelled, diving for the vines as they wrapped themselves around him. "What the ******** - "

The elevator arrived at their floor. The doors slowly opened.
"Well," the figure said, "the thing is, you do not idly say wishes or desires. At any point, we might just hear you, and an indirect wish, or an indirect desire, will lead to well, very incomplete will to grant it. Really, you brought this on yourself. That, and someone sacrificed you. When you have a chance, ask that someone about the broken pieces."
The elevator began to beep as the doors closed. The figure waved.
Quinn woke up.

Jordan's eyes widened as the childlike figure was there, briefly, just long enough to shake its head, and the motion made him hesitate, angling the knife away from the vine. What did Creation want with Gale and Otto? Would it harm them, deliberately or otherwise?
