They were really adamant on not going inside, but he didn't know if it was because they didn't want to be around Joy or because they just didn't like being inside. When he knelt to greet them, he saw they were both carrying an armful of stuff. "What do you have there?" "Mew!" They set the stuff in front of him before Perra pointed to his bag. He wasn't sure if they were actually giving him the stuff, but they certainly wanted to bring it all along anyway. Shrugging, he set his bag in front of him so he could organize the stuff. Which was...an impressive haul. There was even a Lucarionite and three of those rainbow shard things mixed in with it all. "Holy crap. Where the hell have you guys been getting this?" "...Ko...." He chuckled at Perra's response. There was no remorse; just caution. That told him everything he needed to know. But, he couldn't blame them; not if they'd been homeless. "Just to be clear, you guys don't need to be stealing anymore. I'll get you what you need. Alright? We don't need to get in trouble with the law." Unnecessarily anyway. What happened with Aqua was a necessary evil. Once the items were neatly sorted in his bag, which Mufasa promptly jumped into when he was done, Alejandro stood and stretched before spotting an Ekans. Finally! A Pokemon Diego could fight!

He wasn't too keen on fighting it at first, but he remembered they were weak to Grass-type moves. It would be a great opponent for Perra. He gently tapped his foot against the Treecko to get her attention and pointed at the Sandshrew when she looked up at him. "You're turn. Let's see what you can do." "Ko!" She was spirited. He guessed she liked being active. And, if how she chased him relentlessly in the alley was anything to go by, she was also a bit of a violent little thing.

He wanted to go looking for them, but had no idea where to start and even if he did find them, who was to say she wouldn't run away again? With an almost annoyed sigh, the Abra used his psychic power to stop the Sandshrew in its tracks, teleporting to appear in front of it and take the aggression from his trainer and teammate.

Completely his fault he had to use Diego and not Perra, who would've finished that Pokemon off in no time and have few injuries. Taking out a super potion, he quickly sprayed it over the wounds Perra received from her own battle before he used another super along with a standard to treat Diego. "Thanks, bud. Sorry you had to deal with that. I'll do better from now on. No more putting off treatments." Diego seemed to appreciate the promise because it was the first time he showed any sign of joy, expressed in what was probably meant to be a smile but came out looking more like the usual head tilt with slightly curved lips.
