C.T. just gave Mag a death glare, nothing else, no words were needed she just stared Mag down until the woman admitted she was joking. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Gosh. You haven't even been gone that long, no one's even been in there." Mag admitted after a while under C.T.s gaze scratching her head. "Not even Connie could protect me huh?" Kia asked teasingly at Mag's reaction, obviously seeing the hypocrisy in Mag's actions when compared to her words, however Kia was forced to look off to the side whistling absently when Mag turned on her. "Good, for a moment there I thought I was going to have too hurt you and whoever you decided to give my room too." C.T. said "Come on Connie you know the others wouldn't agree too taking your room, they respect you more than that." Mag spoke and C.T. nodded, it was true, she did think that she had a little more respect from her friends than for them to just steal her room. "Speaking of the others, do you mind gathering up everyone who's left? I need too talk about something with them." C.T. asked Mag, growing serious. "You're wedding?" Mag tried, wondering about the serious tone all of the sudden. "That upon other things."

Mag seemed a little concerned, but she shrugged it off and did as C.T. instructed, anyway. Using the intercom system, she asked everyone to gather in the dining room. It didn't take long for people to begin shuffling that way--and it didn't take long to notice the dwindling numbers. A little over half of the residents of the warehouse remained. Many of them had returned to their families or tried to find a new life in a more welcoming society. Others, though, had nowhere to go or nowhere else they would rather be.
Kat was quite clearly excited, a widespread grin lighting up her face. She turned to Connie. "After you introduce it, can I talk about it? Like, give them the details and stuff?" she asked.

"Yea, I can do that." C.T. said as the others began to file in. There were about 11 people left over and a quick look at Kat's face let C.T. know that she seemed impressed with the number. That was good as it meant that Kat must have a spot for everyone. C.T. wasted no time in addressing the group. "How is everyone doing." She asked simply, trying to get back into the grove of commanding a large group, she hadn't exactly forgotten what it was like having so many eyes on her since she had been on tv. The responses she got were mixed but mostly positive, with one standing out. "Welcome back boss." That was from Sandy, Connie smiled at that. "Glad to be back and as you can see, Esther and I didn't return alone. We've brought with us my sisters, Katarina and Kia, and some news as well." C.T. said a bit hesitantly looking towards Esther before smiling. "Esther and I are engaged." C.T. said firstly holding up her ring and receiving a round of applause from her friends. She shook her head a bit, a little embarrassed as she looked too the side getting her emotions in check she continued. "That's not it however. I would like to propose a relocation." She started, seeing already that the reaction from the group were a bit concerned. "Kat is offering all of us, a job in palm where my parents live, and she's rather eager to explain the deal to you so I'll let her do that." C.T. said putting Kat on the spot who for her credit didn't back down. "Yes, like Connie said, I would like to be able to give all of you a position at the Recreational center that currently employs me. There are plenty of positions open, Coaches, trainers, teachers, chiefs, if some of you are good with computers we have a tech department. All what we do is really geared towards child development, so some of you can literally get paid to show up to work, and spend time playing out on the yard with kids all day." Kat offered. "Where will we live?" Someone asked, Palm wasn't exactly close. "We have a housing complex that we rent out to our workers, of course you guys will be allowed to live there for free for the fist couple of months and when you are required to pay rent, it will be a very small amount." Kat said, trying too sweeten the deal. There was a bit of silence that followed, as Kat waited to see what the response would be, if she were to be honest, it was a bit awkward having everyone watch her, without saying anything.

As Kat finished, there were mixed reactions. Most of the eleven seemed ready to hop on board, or at least ready to consider the proposal. A few people, however, still had reservations. Elliot was one of them. Leaning against the back wall, he straightened himself and frowned. "A lot of people have already left," he said. "You want to break us up even more? You want to force us out of our home?" He, like the others, had thought of the warehouse's residents as family. It had been difficult to see so many go... and it had also made him bitter, because he didn't have any family to return to.
Elliot wasn't accusing Kat specifically, but she still felt uncomfortable, and wilted just a little under his disapproval. "We're just putting the option out there," she said, remaining, for the most part, calm and cool. "It's still up for discussion, and no one is obligated to go to Palm."
Sandy put a hand on Elliot's arm. "Maybe it's time for a change," she said. She knew how lonely he had been lately, and every time someone left the warehouse he grew more despondent. Personally, Sandy thought it was an interesting idea and didn't care either way. She wasn't tremendously opinionated.
Unfortunately, Elliot seemed resistant, and jerked away from Sandy's touch. Looking at C.T., he asked, expression growing somewhat sad, "Are you moving to Palm, then? Are you leaving us permanently?"
"For God's sake, Elliot, it isn't like we couldn't drive to see her if she did," Mag spoke up, although she herself was curious and still trying to weigh the warehouse residents' options.

"I didn't mean to make anyone feel like they were being stolen away from their home. I wasn't trying to make anyone feel abandoned either." Kat offered, she hadn't been expecting this type of reception at all, no one had it was just Eliot acting on his on. C.T. stepped forward placing a hand on her sisters shoulder a silent signal telling the girl to let her handle this. "Yes, I'm moving to Palm." C.T. answered Eliot with no hesitation. "No I am not permanently leaving anyone, I just won't live in this place anymore.""This place is our home!" Eliot spat, and C.T. shook her head. "This place became out home, because we had nowhere else to go." C.T. corrected, yes she had some type of attachment to this place, but she was also willing to let it go if it meant that they could achieve something better just over the horizon, it was a shame that Eliot didn't seem to see that possibility because he was too busy trying to fight it. "Tell me Eliot what was the point of all this then, us fighting against oppression and all the bullshit we were faced with, if we are just going to hide away in this factory when we are finally being accepted in public." C.T. reached behind her and grabbed Esther's hand. "So again, yes I am leaving, I am going with my wife, to palm, where I am accepted by people who love me. And if you all want, you can come as well, and if you don't want to. That's fine as well."

Eliot scowled and scoffed. "You just want to become one of them, don't you?" he said. By "them," he clearly meant humans. He jabbed a finger in Esther's direction accusingly, causing her to tense slightly and widen her eyes. "You're even marrying one of them. We didn't fight for our freedom just so we could try to fit in with the humans. It's still their world out there." He looked around briefly as if searching for support, but when he found none, her shook his head disapprovingly and stormed out of the room.
Sandy watched him go, although it was clear she wanted to follow him. Sighing, she walked over to C.T. "He just... doesn't like change. A lot of people he cares about have left, and he feels left behind," she explained. "I'll talk to him after he's cooled off, boss. I'm sure he didn't mean what he said."
Kat, meanwhile, seemed rather shaken. She had been excited to present this opportunity to C.T.'s warehouse family--and the confirmation that C.T. would be moving to Palm had been great news to her ears. Now, though, she wasn't so sure. Thankfully, as soon as some of the tension in the room disintegrated, people started surrounding Kat, asking questions about the jobs at the recreation center. Most of them showed interest in making the move as soon as possible, excited to start a new life. Soon, her scared expression was replaced with an enthusiastic smile as she answered people's questions.
"Good idea, Connie," Mag said approvingly, smiling. The shift made her nervous, but it was time for change. She wasn't sure yet what she and Jennie would be doing; it was something they would have to talk over together later. Jennie seemed open to the idea of moving to Palm, though, or at least somewhere close by. "The response seems to be mostly positive."

"I was expecting most if not all to be on board." Connie said returning Mag's smile, as she looked over the group asking her sister questions. "I think everyone should be ok with a change of scenery." Connie added, though what they were proposing was more than a change of scenery, it was also a change in life style, and while she didn't like referring to it as that, it is in fact exactly what it was. That was probably why Eliot was being so difficult. C.T. sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose with her thumb and index finger, he was lucky that he had stormed off when he did, and he was very lucky that Sandy had decided to speak up for him, or C.T. might of slugged him. But it was better this way, things wouldn't have turned out well if she did hit him, and she should be checking on Esther anyway she didn't know how Esther was affected by Eliot's words and if Esther was hurt, it was C.T.'s responsibility to fix that. So walking up behind Esther, C.T. pulled the girl into a tight embrace and began talking to her. "Even though you technically aren't human, I'd like to say that fitting in with humans is a very appealing prospect to me, because of you."

Esther was a little surprised by the contact, but once she realized it was C.T., she leaned back slightly into her fiance's arms. Esther wasn't human anymore; she hadn't really thought of it in those terms before. "Not to me," she joked. "We both know humans are boring. Which is why my not being human makes so much sense now." Esther turned in C.T.'s hold so they were face-to-face and wrapped her arms around the girl's neck. Pressing her forehead to C.T.'s, she said softly with a smile, "Don't worry about me, baby. I'm fine. He was upset, and I get it." She hadn't taken offense. In fact, it was kind of funny to her--by pointing to her, he had basically proven his point wrong. Still, the fact that C.T. had checked up on her was just too sweet and adorable, and Esther could barely handle it.

"Well boring can be ok too," C.T. argued jokingly. Loosening her hold on Esther a bit so that the girl could turn comfortably in her arms. "Boring is safe, and secure." C.T. offered nuzzling Esther's nose with her own, the comment about safety was more in regards to Esther jumping into the mirror while C.T. was busy trying not to have a heart attack. C.T. would have to get over the fear, because she knew Esther was going to embrace her power like anyone else would, which would mean that it was going to be used a lot more. But getting over the fear or not didn't matter, she was always going to be protective over Esther. Speaking of her protectiveness. "Don't worry about me, baby. I'm fine. He was upset, and I get it."Esther had seen right through her, though she hadn't exactly been discreet in the comfort she was offering. "Still, he shouldn't talk to you like that." C.T. said softly. "Just because you aren't offended, doesn't mean that it doesn't piss me off a bit that he decided to try and throw you under the bus because he was mad." C.T. said to Esther, evenly trying not to show how angry she truly was with everything. "No one talks to my wife like that." C.T. added, as a way to lighten the situation just a little bit.

Esther grinned when C.T. referred to her as her wife. She wasn't sure she was ever going to get used to it--but in a good way. The term just made her smile. What didn't make her smile was Connie's reasons for being upset with Eliot. "He tried to throw you under the bus. Not me," she pointed out. "You should be pissed at him for you. Hell, I am. He should have trusted you." Just because Esther wasn't upset with Eliot for how he spoken to her didn't mean she wasn't upset with the kid at all. For as long as he had known Connie and lived under her leadership, he should have realized she was only trying to do what was best for the residents of the warehouse.
But Esther didn't want to dwell on it. She pressed her lips to C.T.'s and smiled again. Wife. "Oh, by the way," she started slowly. "So, I was thinking, we shouldn't sleep next to each other anymore. Until we're married." Esther was joking, but this fact wasn't entirely clear. She was straight-faced as she spoke, with only a twitch at the corner of her lips suggesting she just wanted to mess with her fiance. "Just doesn't seem right to me, y'know? So you can have your room and I'll take one of the extra rooms."

"Maybe you are right about that." C.T. conceded to Esther, but she perhaps didn't really feel that way. She could see that Esther's was right and maybe she wasn't mad about being thrown under the bus or Esther being thrown under the bus it was more that she was mad that Eliot tried to claim that there was something wrong about how she felt for Esther. C.T. frowned about that, she wondered if anyone else secretly felt that way, however when Esther kissed her she decided that it didn't matter. And when Esther proposed that they should sleep in different rooms, C.T. had forgotten about the whole thing entirely. "Have I ever told you that sometimes, and only sometimes, I like too ignore you." C.T. said jokingly. "But only when you say things that make no sense at all, such as 'So, I was thinking, we shouldn't sleep next to each other anymore. Until we're married.' " C.T. said doing her best impression of Esther's voice. "So in response I offer this, we should continue to sleep together, and while we do, I suggest that we practice for how busy we are going to be after we get married."

Esther supposed she should have realized she couldn't lie to C.T. Not even as a joke. Or maybe C.T. hadn't actually seen through the facade and would have responded like this whether Esther was being truly serious or not. And then C.T. started to do an impersonation of Esther that...
Dammit. Alright, it was pretty good. But still.
Esther narrowed her eyes at C.T. "Do you want to go to hell, Connie?" she replied flatly. Although she was, of course, still joking. Esther sighed dramatically and broke away from C.T., facing away from her. Closing her eyes and touching her forehead as if she felt faint, she said (after a quick sweep around to make sure no one else was within earshot), "It's bad enough that I won't be a virgin bride. And now..." She faced C.T. again. "And what if we should get bored of each other during all that 'practice'?" There were finger quotes around "practice," naturally. She knew the answer to her question already, though. It was simple: she could never get bored of C.T., not in any capacity.

"Well do you want to go to hell? Because your willingness to go is going to sway my opinion just a bit." C.T. joked, realistically speaking, it would be very nice to be able to avoid hell, but most people thought they were going to hell just for being gay, so if that were the case, then ******** it. She'd just go to hell. "You know, you not being a virgin bride is not my fault, but I on the other hand. Had my virginity taken by none other than you, so that's a strike against you in that case." C.T. joked. For the second time in five minutes Esther said something to C.T. that she was seriously considered ignoring. "Ok Esther, lets say for arguments sake that somehow we become bored of each other, which by the way will never happen and you should be ashamed of yourself for even entertaining the thought, but lets say it does happen," C.T. said a grin on her face that let Esther know just how absurd she thought that was. "I'm pretty sure they sell toys that allow us to liven things up right?" C.T. suggested. "Ahhh Connie! My ears! Nooo!" Kia yelled, covered her ears to try to block out the horror of what she had just heard. C.T. looked at her little sister and shrugged. She shouldn't have been eavesdropping in the first place.

Alright, C.T. had her there: if C.T. went to hell for not being a virgin bride, it was basically Esther's fault. Esther grinned, perhaps a little prouder of this fact than she should have been. (Not the part about C.T. potentially going to hell, obviously, but rather the reason why she might be.) Esther grabbed the waistband of C.T.'s bottoms and pulled her closer. "Maybe, but you should be glad your first time was with me," she said quietly, still smirking. "I am damn good in bed."
C.T.'s proposed solution to Esther's imaginary concern was reacted to with mild surprise, but amusement. Honestly, she hadn't expected C.T. to know anything about those kinds of toys, much less suggest them. The woman hadn't even known what pizza was, for God's sake. She laughed and opened her mouth, but her face blew up with rosy pink when Kia not-so-subtly announced that she had overheard. Whoops. C.T. seemed unphased, surprisingly. Esther was a bit more embarrassed, and she rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly after she let her fiance go. "We can continue this conversation later," she said to C.T. with a chuckle and a smile. "But until then, I guess we might as well risk eternal damnation and sleep in the same room. Blankets aren't enough anymore to keep me warm at night, anyway." She winked at C.T.
Kia, meanwhile, looked like she might throw up.
Kat strolled over and, after sending a confused glance at her younger sister, walked up to C.T. "Nine of the eleven signed up," she said, beaming happily. "So, you're coming to Palm for sure, then?"

"I am glad actually, just like I'm glad my second time was with you, and I can't wait for the third time, and the fourth time, the fifth the sixth and even the seventh and so on and so forth." C.T. said genuinely. "After all you are pretty good in bed." C.T. admitted with a wink, she had all intentions on continuing this conversation, plans on bringing up her superior cardio in argument for her to be the one who would be using the toys on Esther, but Kia's horror seemed to cause Esther too want to stop this little chat. C.T. was fine with that for now, even if she wasn't done, and it was good to know that Esther wasn't done either. If things went well, she might get to experience her third time sooner rather than later. Even if the thought of it might make Kia turn green. Though fun needed to be dampened for a bit in favor of business and Kat was approaching her with a sign up sheet. 9 of 11 names, so she assumed that would be Eliot and herself since Kat was asking her if she was going to sign. "You didn't tell me there would be paperwork involved." C.T. said suddenly, looking frightful, Kat raised a brow at her giving her a look that basically asked if Connie was being for real right now. "I might have to think about this now, this is a serious decision on my part. My name is pretty damn long." C.T. said seriously. "Connie, I swear to god." Kat threatened, she knew C.T. had to be joking, or at least she hoped she was. Without C.T. Kat knew that no one else would follow. "Just messing with you, of course I'll sign." C.T. said taking the clip board before pausing looking at her fiance with a smile. "If Esther is ok with it." C.T. cautioned and Kat rolled her eyes. "This again." she muttered still thinking the whole thing to be silly. "It's important." C.T. nodded.
