"Alright lets go then" she said and held his hand walking out to the car with him. She got in the car and looked out the window while they drove to school hopimg today would be a better day than yesterday.

He smiled and drove to school. Parking his car, he got out and helped her out then held her hand as they walked into the school. He hoped her stepfather wouldn't bother them again.

Alyssa looked around for her stepfather but didnt see him anywhere. She was surprised not to see her stepsister either which worried her. Usually when she didnt see her it meant trouble for her but she didnt want to worry Michael and just kept walking holding his hand.

Michael noticed Alyssa looking around when they were walking into the school. Once inside, he walked around with her for a bit, noticing his older brother wasn't in school. "That's wierd. Jason's not here." He said as he looked down the hall.

Alysaa looked at michael when he said his brother wasnt there. "Noemi isnt either" she said people still staring at them as they walked but she was starting to get used to it. She held his hand and walked to her locker to switch out her books for the ones she needed before lunch.

"That's odd..." He said as they stopped at her locker then at his. "Hopefully it doesn't mean anything." He said as they headed to their first class. He kept an arm around her while they walked into the class. He sat down and waited for her to sit too.

Alyssa nodded and silently hoped the same thing. She smiled feeling his arm around her and walked to class and sat down in the seat next to him and pulled her notebook out of her backpack.

Michael pulled out his notebook and listened as the teacher talked. They did a quick pop quiz then broke into pairs and began working on a project.

She took notes and did her quiz. Of course Alyssa paired with Michael and smiled turning to look at him. "So where should we start?" She asked him.

"Let's decide on who the project is going to be about." He said with a Warm smile. He looked at the list of people the teach gave them and circled the ones he liked. "Anyone you want to do?" He asked as he handed her the list.

"Well since its english we have to choose an author. How about Edgar Allen Poe?" She suggested. "Unless there is another that you like?" She asked him. She was fine with whichever author to be honest.

"We can do it on Edger Allen Poe. He's one of my favorite authors." Michael said and smiled as he took her hand in his. He then got up and grabbed a few books. "We can use my laptop when we get home." He told her as he handed her a book.

Alyssa smiled holding his hand. "Then Poe it is" she said and watched him grab some books. "Okay" She smiled taking the book and started to look through it writing down information that she thought would be useful.

They spent the next hour researching and writing down helpful information. Once class was done, he walked her to her next class. "I'll see you at lunch babe." He told her then kissed her.

Alyssa packed her things away and borrowed a few books from the teacher. She walked with him to her next class and smiled kissing him back. "Okay I'll see you then" she said and walked into class.
