Maddy randomly appeared on scene.
"Oh, I was wondering where everyone was."

Reaper nodded while observing the map. "Sounds good to me." He said. Corphish crossed his arms and nodded, putting on a tough guy act.

Cody rolled the map up, stored it in his backpack, and stood up. "I hope you guys are ready," he said with an ambitious smile. He sent Axew out to accompany the group on their walk. As the team walked down the direct route of Rt 110, the boy noticed a dirt path that seemed to branch off and turn into a separate path. This had to be the first of many foot and bike trails that would eventually meet up with the main path again. "This way," Cody waved as he parted the bushes and stepped into the darkness. "If anyone has a light, it would be appreciated," he laughed, looking back to make sure his team was following.

Dimtri began to look around at his surroundings while he followed cody carefully. “Would fire be a good enough light boss man?” Dimitri said in a questioning tone as he took out his growlithe’s pokeball from his jacket pocket.

Cody caught the flashlight, flicking the switch, and shining it brightly ahead of him. As they approached the next brush, Cody heard a group of voices. He held his hand up, motioning for silence from the group as he listened. The group slowly approached the brush, ducking behind as the gang of voices continued their conversation.

"And we'll place the explosives here, and blow the whole support all to hell."
"But Boss, what about the power plant? Won't blowing a hole in the bike path drop debris onto the power plant?"
"Do you really think I care about that? The less power in Mauville, the less resources the police will have to retaliate with."
And with that, the voices trailed off into the night.

"What was that...?" Cody asked the group. "Did everyone hear that? We should follow them, don't you think?"

Dimitri picked up the flashlight that fell to the ground do to his inability to catch it. Then, he pressed the switch on the flashlight forward to turn it on before he pointed it in front of himself, shining a bright flash of light in front of himself. “It sounded like another group that’s also planning something… I agree we should follow them… lead the way boss man.” Dimitri said in a serious tone for once while he gripped his growlithes pokeball tightly.

Cody nodded in agreement to his team's opinion. "Yeah, I agree," he said, pushing his way through the bushes and keeping to the shadows as the team followed the dim remnants of light that the mysterious gang carried with them. As long as they could see light, Cody knew they were headed in the right direction. As they trekked on through the night, the boy occasionally checked the map, using landmarks to mark their position. They were getting closer to Mauvile, almost by the entrance to the bike path. Just as Cody went to put the map away, he stumbled, dropping it and the light as he caught himself from taking a tumble. "Ah, crap!" he shouted in reflex. Just then, the light they had been following went out, and footsteps took off into the night. The gang they had been following had been lost. "Well, there goes that lead," the boy commented as the team made their way back toward the main road. "What do you all think they were planning?"

“What ever it was… it must have been important for them to resort to using explosives… they sounded like they did not want anyone to catch onto their plans.” Dimitri replied in a calm tone while he continued to carefully follow cody before he arrived at the main road with the rest of the team. “I believe were not the only troublemakers sneaking around this time of night.” Dimitri said in a joking tone followed by a bit of laughter.
