"I'm not quite sure the weapons they gave us up at the wall were all that nice." He laughed. "I'm pretty sure I broke a toe trying to get the stupid harpoons to work." He sat down when she told him too, trying not to be nervous. "Which is going to haunt me for the rest of my life I'm sure. First fight out of the gate ... and it's a toe." He shook his head. "Three years huh?" At least that meant the survival rate couldn't be -that- bad if some of them could go that long. Something to look forward to at least. Once he was all harnessed up he stretched slightly. "Yea .... doesn't feel like i'm gonna fall out of anything. Lets do this."

Finn was not about to complain that there was a beautiful woman on top of him, no matter how much the impact had hurt and how he was pretty sure that without a Fear shield he'd have quite a few broken bones right now. He was just going to grin, and bare it, and breathe slowly, and joke around and tease this girl to his hearts content because that was much more fun then whining about a few bruised ribs. So when she sat up, he let some of the disappointment show, a bit mocking perhaps but there was a little bit of genuine feeling behind it. At least he could breathe a little bit better now, and was getting a better view of a blue smeared Fini still sitting atop him. And then she got lip blue goo on his nose, and he rolled his eyes at her and continued to smirk because woman, he was already covered in blue, like that was really going to make any difference what's so ever. It was rather cute though. Allowing himself to be helped up though he definitely didn't need it, nope, he began brushing himself off before realizing it was pretty much pointless to do so, inwardly cringing again at what a mess he currently was. "Ah yes, well if you were impressed by that, wait until I show you all of the other things I'm good at." He left that to her imagination, eyes flicking up and down at her blue smeared form yet again, something in his head clicking as he did so. "Gotta find somebody, sunshine. Though if you would like to tag along, I'd be pleased to continue monopolizing your time." He said, rather smoothly for somebody who's body was feeling the affects of being eaten and his idiotic attempts at heroism. Having a glance around, it was really no trouble at all spotting a giant with green hair, and casting another smile Fini's way, he sauntered over towards his "friend" (the friend part being questionable at this point). "Hey good buddy!" He called out, slapping a blue covered hand on Jack's back once he approached, making sure to really rub it around before throwing an arm around him and patting him with his other hand on the chest for good measure. "Sorry if I'm interrupting anything." Except that he wasn't sorry at all, really. "Like you know, your awful attempts at hitting on this gorgeous lady that is obviously a way out of your league. Hi I'm Finn, by the way." He introduced himself mid sentence to the woman, before continuing on. "But, you know how I had something I needed to tell you earlier?" He gave Jack a look, a knowing look, as a large, cold smile began to creep along his face. "Well, before I can get myself eaten again, because you know how irresistible I am of course but I digress, I think I'll try to tell you again." At this point, he moved, attempting to turn Jack with him as he pointed to a woman some distance away, one with short, auburn hair. Anybody standing around her was ignored as he focused directly on her. "Lina. Or, should I say, Stormy now. You know, at first I was going to tell you to try and liven up the party a little, but now, it's just because I find it so ******** funny man, I can't even tell you how happy I am to be the bearer of this news." And he did find it amusing. Terribly so. To the point where this, this moment right here, would completely make up for the fact that Jack had not even made an effort to try and save him. ....Not that Finn would have done it for him either but it was definitely something Finn was allowed to take offense to, and thus payback for.

Seeing as he was set, she patted the launcher and gestured for him to get in. "I certainly don't know what you see in flying, but get in and we'll launch again."
She punched in some coordinates, moving the levers back and forth. It was a good thing her mind worked so quickly in situations like this. "Hopefully we get the head this time, eh?"

Harrison got an adrenaline fuelled and honest smile, before he remembered that he couldn't be unguarded with him - not entirely anyway - he reigned it back. "Get me to them and I'll stab them."
This time when he was launched he went further and higher than he had thought possible, those few, long seconds in the air his absolute favourite, arms spread, able to imagine he had wings. He let his thoughts twist up tightly with Tracey's. Distraction was bliss.
And then with a thud, he landed on the beast's head, the spiked cleats digging deep into its skin for traction. This was what made him happy, this was where he wanted to be, not in some ******** lab waiting to die, but out here on the battlefield, happy to stab death in the ******** eye.
Which he did. With a ******** dagger. And went back to Harrison.
"That was more like it."

Death Division
"Okay, okay!" Ripley chuckled softly at her hit to his arm, naturally shying away from any further means of violence. "Okay, against the rules, I'll be fine I promise." He wasn't confident, but he was good at pretending that he was. After that he went quiet, letting Abbi do her thing.
"Got it. Elbows in, knees bent, feet apart. No wriggling, Keep tense but not locked, tuck and roll if possible." He repeated for her, alternating between glancing at her to show he was listening and glancing at the monster as if to track it's progress and see what the others were doing. It was a lot to take in, and he was pretty sure his heart was going to beat right out of his chest.
"Thanks, Abbi." He murmured honestly, ducking his head for the pat - which he responded with a nervous smile - and then focused entirely on the creature he was careening towards.

(( Reroll for Ripley - Keeping this roll! )) "Oof!" Ripley landed awkwardly on the creature's back, a dagger embedded into it as a means of staying stable. The second dagger was sheathed into the Monster's back with a little more precision, and once he was done he leaned back to try and get ready to return back to solid ground.
Then he made the mistake of looking down.
Nnnngh.
Stomach tight and looking like he could puke at any moment, Ripley managed to grab onto the cable and somehow, magically, ziplined back to the ground by Abbi. He did tuck and roll though, and actually ended up a few feet from her, but the point was...he survived.
"I am never doing that again." Ripley groaned sickly, putting his head between his knees and holding onto his pale hair. "Ever."

Otto was launched into the air again, a little more prepared for the gut wrenching feeling ripping through his centre at the sensation of it. Landing onto it's back again, he drove the daggers into the weakest spot he could find without falling off. The teen slid down the zipline again, probably the most fun part of this task in his opinion.
He landed with a running stop near Ami once again. "Alright, one more time!" Maybe he could hit harder again.

"Man, this thing is kind of hard to aim.." Cass grumbled as she fussed with it. With a little bit of fussing, however, she was able to get it right where she wanted it.
"Alright! Come back in one piece, kay?" Cass bid to her partner before she pulled the trigger to make the sun fly. Hoped he'd have fun with that at least....[ROLL - 20 - 4 = 16!]

Ami could've slapped her forehead. Otto was officially a launchpad junkie and she had led him on this path to destruction.
Sighing, she had no choice but to ready his launcher once more. Ohhh how she hated being bound by orders. "Be careful Otto, you're moving quickly. Take a deep breath and calm yourself for a moment. It'll keep your reflexes higher, if anything."

Having gained a better grip on the controls, Ami aimed him carefully. She took her time, not only for precision, but also to give Otto a second to catch his breath.
That, and she needed to make sure he didn't go splat into the concrete.
"Alright, bomb's away," she said, oddly monotonous for launching a person into the air. What were you gonna do though? It was Ami.
