Never Again...Herald was laying with Emma under the sheets, holding her on top of him against his chest. Their clothes lay on the floor beside the bed. His breathing was returning to normal as he closed his eyes, taking in the feeling of Emma on him. "You've learned some new things," he told her with a small smile. Fighting wasn't the only thing that one became more comfortable with after practice. He had begun to understand the way Emma worked better since they had began spending more time together, both in combat and in more personal things. It was strange; before he had thought he would never be able to know anyone better than he knew Eric, considering how they had shared the same body. But he was quickly coming to find that he was understanding Emma better even than he had understood Eric now that they were sharing everything, including each other. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald gave a small laugh in agreement. "That is true," he told her. "But you knew way before I did it seems. A little birdie told you. Tell me, when you first heard it, what did you think?" He asked curiously. It was unusual for him to ask such questions, but for some reason he had asked this one. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma whimpered "That isn't nice... Using me just because you are hungry and apparently think cats taste good..." she said with a joking tone. She knew eventually she would have to turn into that form again. Whether it was just running its course or if she ran out of energy a bit too quickly. ☾
