She gives a nervous chuckle, "oh hehe, You know... Sharks aren't really That bad... SEE? " And grins showing her double rows of shark-like teeth.
"Besides.." She said getting up, having Melody finally dried off, and back on her own two fins. uh Feet. "Its hard for me to make friends. I just get really... Territorial." Jealous. Envious. Rude. Mean. "So when you came out of the deep blue... Being Demon's BFF.... I may have gotten a tiny bit snap-fishy..."She thumbs to the door, with a head tilt. "We'd better get back to the arcade before our friends think we've disembodied each other... I was kinda competitive out there... So Ready? besides. I'm still hungry... I have a monstrous appetite."

Melody gave a smile and nodded, "Of course. What would you like? I think I'll pay this time."
As they headed out of the ghouls room and back to the Grave and Busters floor, Melody couldn't stop smiling and thinking this was the start of a new bootiful friendship.

Cassie slowly climbed out of the bus, she was wearing tall chunky platforms...like always. She tried to step from the steps to the curb. She stumbled but made it. She looked and saw gryff easily walk out and stood beside her. "I know hexactly where to go!" She reassured him "there's a pusheek bigger than me" she stretched an arm out over her head to try to show how big it was. "It's all the way down on the other side though" She struggled to keep up with his walking speed as he sped up a bit hearing that new information

Their covert mission was still in progress...Atomica and Lin peeked around the corner of the Maul just as Gryff and Cassie stepped inside.
"Did you see that?!" Atomica poked Lin. "Gryff practically held the door open for Cassie! He NEVER does that!"
"You're right. This is totally a date. Why else would Gryff set hoof in a maul?! We're supposed to do that FOR him!" Lin agreed. This state of affairs was most grave indeed. Cassie and Gryff on a date, doing goremantic things, getting all kissy with each other...there was NO way Lin and Atomica were going to let them do this and ruin their beast friendship with each other.
"Listen, lass. We need a plan." Lin and Atomica scarefully walked around to the back side of the maul, where the dumpsters were located and loading trucks dropped off merchandise to the many stores. "If we confront Gryff and Cassie, we'll only make things worse."
"Agreed." Atomica's processor crunched the possible scenarios. If Atomica and Lin went to Gryff and Cassie with their PERFECTLY REASONABLE concerns, Gryff, being the counterculture icon that he was, was sure to do the opposite and just date Cassie even harder. That was what counterculture icons did. "In fact, my positronic performance engine has calculated that our greatest chance of success is if we can somehow get them to see how bad of an idea it is to date each other on their own, without knowing that we were involved at all!"
"Hmm...." Lin scratched his chin.
Then he scratched his ear.
Then he went back to the chin scratching.
Then the other ear.
"WOULD YOU STOP ITCHING?! You're making ME itchy and I don't even have skin!" Atomica cried, aghast as they stopped next to the maul's Air Conditioning/Heating system.
"Sorry. It's my grimma's wool-knit cap. I think I may be allergic." Lin whipped the hat off and looked up. "Say....I think I have an idea...."
Lin's grin got wider and wider, until it encompassed nearly his entire face ear-to-ear.
"Be a dear and open that hatch into the air ducts, will ya lass?" Lin asked Atomica. "I'll hexplain on the way."

Swiftly the larger ghoul grabbed Meldy's hand in her fin and dashed out the ghouls room, hurrying to the prize station where there was a Toy/Price Lurk waiting."HI!!" Marianna shouts excitedly, she was bouncing on her toes and searching for her toy, slamming her tickets down on the counter. Her head swiveled from side to side, her red eyes became large, the started to narrow. "Where-? Where is it? The octopus?! I can't see it...""Its a popular item. The last was just purchased. Sorry." Said the Toy Lurk "But... We dance battled..." Marianna's stature deflated, she looked shorter some how...
... and then in an instant her rage took over. It was like a switch had been flipped. And her short stature suddenly wasn't so short anymore."You're lying! You have more in the back and just don't want to give it to me!""Uh...no." The Lurk scratches his head. He was calm, he'd dealt with upset monsters before, they all wanted their toys "Would you like a dolphin?"Marianna was snarling at the Lurk... She still thought he was lying... but the dolphin did look cute.

Demona looked around and saw the two ghouls, she ran to them holding up the octopus
"Hey M&M! Look at what Kai and I won! Isn't it the cutest!? We teamed up all our tickets an got him!" She smiled brightly
"Last one too!" She looked at Kai giving him a thumbs up

"Hey!!" Marianna said in protest!! But seeing Demona so happy with her toy... She couldn't be mad at her...
"Adork-able."
She took some calming breaths, she didn't realize her temper and jealousy was far more difficult to control outside of the ocean.
"What do you think Melody? ... Dolphin?"

He sure made like a leaf.. Venus said
"Venus we need to find him! he doesn't know the maul like we do! What if there's a Zombie stampede!"
"He'd have plenty of time to get out of the way." She replied flatly
"You know what I mean... " Tori said, with a frown. "I'll got search on foot."
"ok.. ok.. I'll ask my friends." Venus called out to her plant friends and they hadn't seen him ether (because he was in plastic foliage.)
Tori had ran the entire maul. She'd been on the SCRM team, and knew how to search fast! Returning to Venus she asked
"Anything... ??"
"Nope."
"C'mon, we need to get to the security office." Tori grabs Venus's hand and they ran to find Harry.
"Harry Herne Please meet your friends at the food court!"
Was announced loudly through the entire maul, repeatedly.

Marianna Trench "What do you think Melody? ... Dolphin?" Melody sighed with a smile, sure she didn't get what she was aiming for but she still managed to have a good time for the most part. So what was the harm in having a keepsake of such an interesting day? "Dolphin it is," she smiled as she pointed to the one she wanted. "Alright, here ya go!" She held him at her side, thinking of Marianna. Maybe today wasn't so bad after all.

"I'll take the shark." Mari, had pooled herself together to give an apologetic smile to the Toy Lurk, he nodded in understanding and handed her the stuffed toy. It made a 'Squeak' when she squeezed it.
"It suits you." he said with a smirk.
"Thanks... So how about you --"
Then she heard the announcement.
"Oh NO! Harry! We should go help him!" She takes off with her squeaky shark.

Harry woke up briefly to discovered all plant life had become plastic. He let out a moan of despair and passed back out in the giant fake plant display near the center of maul.

Even the vents!""They better... why did I let you talk me into this anyway!?""Because! This duct leads to a cross vent where the grates open up above the very center of the food court! We'll be able to see for miles -- or at least a good chunk of the court! We can't miss `em!""We BETTER not! This is far too import-- hey!""What?""I just realized the acoustics in here make my sonic vocal transmitters sound even more wicked than they do normally -- which is perfect then!""Your point?""That the next concert Atomica and the Rest in Peace should be held here!""In the vent?""Hexactly!"*shuffle shuffle*"Hey lass! The cleaning crew that kept the Maul dust-free may have done a good job, but there was still a cloud of dust and debris filling the air when Atomica and Lin crashed out of the air ducts and fell smack dab on top of some soft, comfortable, meaty plastic plants.
Oh, wait. That was Harry Herne. What was he doing in a bunch of fake plants?
At any rate, he did a hexcellent job of breaking Atomica's fall. She was completely unscathed as a result. Unfortunately, Lin was not so lucky and the only thing breaking his fall were a few polypropylene palm fronds.
"So....what's the punchline of the joke?" Atomica asked as Lin sat up and coughed out a plastic fern.
"Th' bartend'r sez-" Lin coughed. "Oh no! We can't be seen! The plan!"
Atomica lept to her feet, taking little notice of the fact that Harry was draped on her shoulders like a feather boa.
"Come on! We gotta hide before Cassie and Gryff see us!"
Atomica's laser-LED vision sighted the pair of them walking over by the far side of the maul, near the flower-and-greeting-card place, Maulmark.
"This way!" Lin led them as stealthily as possible to the hallway leading to the bat-rooms. Now they were less than 20 feet from Cassie and Gryff. They seemed to have avoided detection by the pair. Maul security seemed more distracted by trying to figure out why part of the air vent had collapsed than searching for perpetrators...that's what you get when you have Ogres acting as security.

Harry woke to something heavy landing on him. Was Not Centaur Ghoul crashing around again? No, he smelled something metallic instead of horsey. The prince's eyes popped open to see shiny blue hair. What?
"Come on! We gotta hide before Cassie and Gryff see us!"
Atomica! Was he dreaming? What a shiny, righteous dream! Bounce, bounce, bounce...was she carrying him? She was! Why was she Faenapping him? Maybe for....
"Are we going on a date?"
Harry brushed Atomica's hair out of his face to find Lin glaring up at him!
"You are not cherry, dude."

After stopping by a gumball machine to get some bubblegum. Really really quickly she walked into Maulmark with Gryff at first glance it looked like he was holding her hand, actually he had ahold of her jacket sleeve pulling her because she was going too slow.
Cassie then smiled brightly and squealed as she saw the adorable Pusheek! Near things that were ALL. OVER. Cassie's corner of the lair. Hello Batty, My melodeek, Rilakkumugh, Molaahng and Gudetamahhh to name a few
"I want them all!" She took a bunch into her arms "Oh look there's the really really big pusheek."
Stuffies spilled out of her arms as she tried to point it out.
"So what do you think?" She bounced
