There were so many happenings and people and things going on that by the time Marshmallow Kitty came back, Poppy was pretty well distracted. Especially since she'd seemed to hurt Macy's feelings, which made her feel just awful! Macy was so sweet and she had such gorgeous blonde hair, like a sunflower or maybe just the sun or or or-- There was a giant thing attacking! Ok. With no more time to dilly-dally, the young girl looked down to the birdcage she held in her left hand. "ALRIGHT! LET'S FIGHT!" But in her excitement to actually shout without being scolded for it, Poppy kind of forgot to really put any force behind the attack. And she was only a fourteen year old girl wielding a bird cage. "OK OK OK! I'll do better next time, I promise!" Really, she would!

Lyra looked around at all the faces, trying to find familiar ones. She spotted Thalia amongst a crowd of girls and made her way over. She tried to stand as tall as she could; but she was a little scared and she wasn't sure what was going on so her steps faltered every now and then. When she made her way there, she tried to regain her composure as much as possible. It wasn't like her to show weakness; to admit she was scared.
"How's everyone doing?" She asked with a soft smile. "Any injuries?"

A tiny witch, quiet, with wide indigo eyes finally stepped into the fray. She let out a yelp as she let fly an arrow glowing with purple energy, as the enemy moved to retaliate.
This time, a strum of her finger against the bow produced an almost musical torrent of arrows. It traded accuracy for range, and the purple-tipped arrows barely found their mark.

Time to try it again! Only once more, with feeling! Only except then again maybe not? After all, what exactly were they fighting? What if it had feelings and hitting it with bird cages made it feel bad?! Even though she really wanted to help all the pretty girls around her, she also felt really bad about beating this thing up. Somewhat. Enough to kind of pull the second swing of her birdcage. "Marshmallow Kitty told me to fight you so I have to because he chose me. He chose all of us to help the Humans! Which I don't know what that is cause I thought that's what I am but maybe I'm not? Whatever! It doesn't matter! I'm really sorry, honestly I am, but I gotta beat you up now!" Apologizing probably didn't make the thing feel any better.

Rubbing her head and looking thoroughly disoriented and confused, Yara watched as others like her mingled. And the... thing asking her questions, telling her about FEAR. How do I feel? Wish? Weapon? Just... what's going on?! What's a Reaper? What are humans? And fighting..? When did I say I would..? Fight wha-
Yara's train of thought was interrupted when another thing came out of nowhere. And it didn't look nearly as nice as the first one was. In fact, she saw the others attack without hesitation (for the most part).
The little witch did a small victory dance. Maybe she wasn't paying enough attention. One moment elation, the next -
Like a spear through her chest -
Everything faded out--
--
-
.
-- and back in.
The bow vanished, and Ophelia fell to her knees, fingers clasped around both her cracked Fear core and a strange gem that the monster had left in its wake. Distantly she heard someone explain, something about the gem, and a wish. She didn't understand.
"H...help..." she sobbed. She could hardly move. "Please... someone..."

ALRIGHT. OK. This was it! An odd feeling of power and floatiness and something really cool was building within the young girl and her birdcage had started to glow with a faint blue light. That was not only really freakin' cool, but it helped Poppy know that something super epic was about to happen. Without thinking she grinned up at the weird monster that liked shifting in appearance and tossed open the little door of her birdcage. After that she tossed the thing into the air above her head and struck the coolest pose she could think of, which probably if she stopped to honestly think about it wasn't all that cool but whatever! She didn't care! Her hair flared out and there were probably sparkles or something but mostly there were blue petals and she felt a warmth in her chest. So Poppy did what she did best; She yelled really loudly. "ETERNAL SLEEP OF THE SKY COLORED FLOWERS!" A gust of wind blew a burst of petals from her cage, only they kept multiplying! And suddenly the petals had created a giant, big, big, big cloud of what looked like really sharp flowers that flew at the monster. Maybe it wasn't the strongest hit ever, but Poppy was still proud enough that she completely missed catching her cage before it clanged against the ground in front of her feet with a loud noise. She was far too busy throwing her hands into the air and jumping up and down over her victory.

"Leave them alone!" Yara yelled, picking up the nearest thing (which happened to be her parasol) and whacking the ???. She almost dropped the parasol when she heard an angry buzz and felt the parasol vibrate slightly. What the..?
There was a tickle in the back of her throat, causing her to cough--the movement jarring her conscious. Her head ached and her throat felt parched. Her mind felt fuzzy as she opened her eyes to a strange world. Had those words been a dream? That voice?
What was this place? What had happened?
Who am I?
Phaedra.
The word fell from her own lips, the sound of the name familiar and warm but the voice--her voice felt distant, unfamiliar and unremembered. She blinked rapidly, trying to see the whole area, but for some reason the right side seemed to be missing.
Slowly, she lifted her hand to her face. The cool satin of the eyepatch beneath her fingertips brought back the memory that her eye was gone. A sudden sense of loss hit, she had no memory of how it happened or why--or anything but her name and already she was incomplete.
Pulling herself to her feet, she found her weapon. Was this what the voice had talked about? A weapon, a fear weapon...the word rose to her mind as she touched the cold steel. Gun
She turned it over in her hand, checking the magazine and then jamming it back into the gun before putting in back in it's holster. The actions were familiar even if she didn't remember them before she did them.
A familiar glint caught her vision, a pulse of glowing violet light. Cautiously, she picked up the glowing purple crystal.
As the...well, she wasn't sure quite what it was--the being that had been there when she'd first woken up was back. And...making acquaintances...help in the fight? She hadn't yet spoken to any of the girls, but Ashleigh made a mental note to do so...they were all apparently in this together, after all...
I made a wish? And it will help me to remember who I am? Her eyes widened slightly. What could she have possibly wished for? To her, she'd fight because she'd apparently agreed to do so...but remembering who she was...well, probably not as important as saving so many lives, in the scope of things...but personally? Probably more so. Opening her mouth, she would never be sure, later, just what she'd planned on asking, because...a ??? appeared before them all, on the attack.
Curious as she might be as to what it was, exactly, she didn't hesitate to figure it out, raising her scythe above her head with both hands and leaping forward to meet it, slashing at it in a downward, diagonal stroke. She'd hit it!

It's not an overly long scythe, but it's wickedly sharp, and possesses two blades instead of one--the second one can be removed and held by a separate, short handle (it interlocks into the main handle) in a pinch. If one were to look closely at it, it looks like a snake, with two oversized blade-fangs. Personality: Optimistic and driven, Ash is decisive and not one to second-guess herself..she's also one to see things through, even when the going gets difficult. Appearance: Medium height, with an average build. Toned limbs imply an active lifestyle...but she remembers none of it.

"I'm Cyan!" The ghoul chirped, holding out her hand to shake. "I like your name, Hanna. Maybe you and I could stay together for a bit?" She asked, beaming. She didn't want to be alone. She felt like she needed to be a part of some group, even just two. Just never alone.

"Oh my." That was her only response to the monstrous creature? She didn't quite understand why they were fighting.. but if it was for the sake of humans and related to her wish -- she had no choice, did she? If it might lead her a glimmer closer to her forgotten self, then she had no other alternative. Throwing a worried glance over to the other magical girls who fought, some who seemed to suffer a great deal from the monster's attacks, she materialized her scimitars. Aiming for a strike from above at the monster, she quickly moved out of it's attacking path.
