So nvm, as soon as I hopped in the shower my brain pelted me with a beginning XD So my boy (who will hopefully be named by tomorrow!) is going to be a full demonic, but as a kit something happened to his wings. The adults in his life didn't take him seriously when he told them it hurt, because they couldn't see anything wrong. Because it took so long to be checked, he ended up having to lose his wings. After that he decided to study medicine, so that no other kids would end up hurt so badly, and as an adult the passion just sticks. He works at a local clinic, which will be how he meets Baker. Baker could come in afraid something is really wrong with him and my boy is the one who checks on him. Turns out to be nothing, which he'll tell Baker, but maybe Baker is still worried so my boy makes some fake medicine (which I've done before, all you need is the capsules and you powder some stuff, pack it it, and stick the other end of the capsule on. Super easy) which contains maybe some simple herbal stuff so if Baker tastes it it'll taste like medicine, but is more of a supplement than anything. Tells Baker to take those and it should clear things up, but if he feels like he's getting worse to come back in. And then maybe after that Baker likes to come to that clinic when he's feeling like he might be sick, because my boy always listens and takes him seriously rather than dismissing his concerns.
I see maybe a strengthening in their relationship being a time Baker really is sick. Like maybe he came in on a day my boy wasn't there, and the clinic thought it was something small or maybe nothing at all and sent him home, when it turns out to be something. Bad cold or a high fever. Something that would require him to be there overnight, but not extensive or super serious. My boy would be there, and since he's seen Baker so often he actually catches signs that were missed and figures out Baker really is sick this time. Maybe Baker is afraid it's way more serious than it is and thinks he could die, so my boy says he won't let Baker die and he'll be right there the whole time so that Baker isn't alone.
Feel free to add bits in if you want, or change parts here and there. If you don't think it sounds like a likely story though we'll come up with something different

He doesn't have a lot friends beside his sister and her friend so it would be nice for him to have a male friend. And i totes can see him developing a cute little crush on his doctor friend (heart)
