Adiyan still didn't like the fact that he was just a fragment of someone else but if he could make a difference any way would be alright for him to disappear and leave nothing behind and did his real him feel differently on the same things he like or the same. Who would he be loyal to in this adventure as his own kingdom was gone and even he didn't get much time to be loyal to the violet kingdom, but then Adiyan thought that maybe right now he be loyal to himself until he could find others to be loyal to. Was his true self loyal to others? Once more Adiyan started to hum again as it help to keep him calm and to help him forget that there was no to go back down and out. Humming a little louder as if it would help keep from hearing the Voice but it didn't help and Adiyan still didn't like what the Voice had to say this time as he just wanted to continue upward on his adventure of find out what was up at the top. So he just didn't pay too much attention to what the Voice had to say. Ami entered the tower with trepidation. All was quiet, and Ami actually appreciated it. She liked the silence, as it gave her time to think, time to reflect. She could make a plan without noise all around her.
She took to the stairs with caution. She'd played deathsweeper and died thousands of times on the stairs. Ami wouldn't take any chances.

Merope jumped when he heard the Voice speak. He slouched, shoulders brought up as he ducked to make himself a smaller target for its disappointment. And yet its words made him relax and stand up again. He didn't take anyone's power. He wasn't created by the Voice. He wasn't given a purpose. He wasn't promised a Kingdom. It sounded as if the Voice wasn't talking to him. The Shadow slid closer to the wall as he continued his climb, doing his best to stay out of sight and out of mind. Seeing as the steps appeared safe (though she still expected Caelius to pop out of the wall at any moment and kill her) she continued upwards, now at a much quicker pace. It didn't seem like anything that was too dangerous, save for the silence.
That was unusual. Where were her familiar footsteps? A frown, then she continued.

He couldn't keep climbing forever. There had to be an end to this. When he arrived at it, what then? Would he be the same? Would he remain who he was? He considered himself as he climbed. He was still isolated and alone, yes. That wasn't anything new. But for a brief moment he felt like he was with others, that he was part of something. Was that really so bad? To want to be part of something, too? He reached the 100th step. "All I ever wanted was to find the True King," the Voice seemed to lament. Merope felt... sympathetic towards the voice. No harm, no trouble, betrayed? That sounded very familiar. Merope wished he had lungs to sigh with, envy stinging him at the very thought. He continued to climb, moving to the second floor. The sudden shake of the stairs caused Blake to drop to his knees, lest he fall backwards. Balance was going to be an issue if he couldn't hear the tower rumbling as it shook... at least he could still feel the vibrations around him. Getting up, dusting off his knees, he once more picked his way up the stairs, hugging the wall and seeking to keep his center of gravity low. Peering into the gloom, Blake could just make out the form of someone else in the stairway. All the way at the top, and vanishing into the next level. Better pick up th' pace. They might need 'elp. he thought, shuffling along faster and wobbling every time the stairs shook. Then, just as he passed the halfway point, he heard something. It was the Voice.
