Heres a few things for the nekos that work good.
Their races natural ability.
Natural ability: Items from the shop thread cost 5 less coin.
a good job for them
█ Merchant :► .
Job Bio: Buying items from other OC's to sell to others.
Perk: You can keep any thing you like.
Cost of serves: Buy items at 1/2 Shop price. Sell at full shop price.
You may set the price of any item not sold in the shop as you feel fit.
Requirements: Most own at least 10 items to take and keep job.
Number of slots open for fire:5
though you could do what ever you want just keep that in mind.

then id pick ether Sorcerer which gives you fire magic or Shamen that gives Water magic. Then pick the one your missing as your one free element.
Sorcerer get a spear while Shamen's get a staff.
Everything else about them is the same beyond the bonuses to their element type. They each would grow faster in one magic more then the other.

Ohhmaru-Concoo-Tanoweichi As for backreading kuro. Really you dont need to unless you plain to make another OC or want to rework the one you have now. It wont effect anything really. in fact with your starting HP/Mana you'd be a little stronger then newer members who will need to follow the new updates. But I mean like...reading what's already been posted in the one area where everyone's at. Because I haven't read any of it yet and there's...more than a dozen pages? And I...don't want to spend hours just reading super long posts, but if I don't then I won't know what's going on...and then I'll look like an idiot. Bah, I just don't know what to do as far as posting and actually RPing at this point.

It also helps to understand what your reading by allowing you to absorb each part over time.
