Caesar-The Devourer of Hearts
Shadow demon Caesar slowly opens the door, carefully incase the man snapped or threw something at him. When he saw his condition, he relaxed. "Um...the pain medication is in my room still from that...other time...did you need it?" Caesar leans against the door frame as he took a bite of his peach with his eyes on the floor. xxxxx

 Fields just waved his hand dismissively. "Ein don't need them. Just un little sleep." he assured. He glanced over at Caesar and exhaled slowly through his nose, trying not to get flustered at the sight of the demon with some peach juice dripping off his chin.

Shadow demonCaesar nods as he licked the juice of the peach before he wiped what was left and licked the peach itself. "Alright, is there anything you need before you rest? Water...food?" Caesar was speaking to the man but his eyes were on the peach he was eating, the fruit being sweeter and juicer than the others he had so far. xxxxx

After a moment the doctor realized his thought had become audible and tensed up, blushing brightly. "E-Ein mean, uh, n-nazing! G-Get out!" he stammered and quickly turned his head to hide his blush. What an idiot! How could he say that?! Nngh, it wasn't completely his fault! That damn boy was just looking s-so cute with the peach and...!

Awesome nerd ooc: I am having trouble finding new pics for Michael so he is going to "cut and dye his hair" soon. He'll look like this~ Just the front his blonde and blue.
Shadow demonCaesar almost choked on the bite of peach he had in his mouth when he heard Adler's response. His face immediately turned a bright red as he finally turned to Fields. Was the man still drunk? "Y-Y-You w-want what?!" Caesar wasn't sure what to do, should he walk away...should he do or say something? Caesar looks down a moment before moving so that he could shut the door behind him, the demon leaning against it as he looked away with a bright red face. "B-Be honest...d-did you really mean t-that?" xxxxx

The madly blushing doctor was still looking away and even held one hand up to better mask his practically glowing blush. "V-Vhat are you still doing here?!" he yelled, though it was obvious by his higher tone that he was yelling from being embarrassed and nervous than anger or intoxication. "E-Ein told you to get out!"

Shadow demonCaesar flinches, his hand tightening on the bag as he gave a small, quiet nod. "I suppose I misheard you. There is no way you would actually say something like that." Caesar opens the door with a sigh and a pained look before stepping out and closing the door softly behind him. With same pained expression, he goes into his room and climbs onto his bed. "Stupid liar..." xxxxx

After about ten minutes, the sound of a scowl came out of the hallway and was soon followed by a knock on Caesar's door. "Caesar!" the doctor barked from the hallway. "Come on, ve must get going alvready."

Fields blinked when Caesar completely ignored him and went straight to the demon. He watched the two talk - or more Caesar get growled at by Armageddon - and couldn't help but feel hurt. Was the boy ignoring him on purpose? Was he disgusted by that stupid thing he said out loud by accident? Fields closed his mouth and decided to ignore it. The last thing he needed were his feelings getting in the way of a fight he'd been waiting his entire life for.
"Pick him up. Ein vill lead the vay." he muttered and began walking off.

Three days passed since Caesar's death, and Dr. Fields wasn't sure how to act. He walked home that day and ignored the still confined Armageddon that yelled to be free, plodding to his room and going to sleep. He only got up the next day to release the demon that didn't hesitate to leave, the lack of shadow restraints a painful reminder to his loss. The third day Fields spent in the darkness of his room. He had his blanket draped over him and his eyes closed to try and sleep, but all that came were painful memories of Caesar. If only he told him his true feelings. If only he hadn't dragged him into his personal affairs, then maybe he'd still be alive. Fields grit his teeth. He couldn't bear the thought of facing the fact that it was his fault Caesar was gone.

Caesar-The Devourer of Hearts
Shadow demonCaesar felt like he was dreaming. He watched as a man whose face was blurry got tortured for what felt like centuries before he watched as the same person killed his captor and ate his heart. The action made Caesar grimace and his stomach churn. He then watched as the man tore out the hearts of thousands of people before it suddenly moved to the man in a graveyard.
His face wasn't blurry this time and he could actually see his surroundings clearly. It wasn't until he heard a familiar voice that his heart began to race and his cheeks heat as he realized suddenly that the life he had been watching was his own and the voice that made him react in such a way was Fields. He turned around and saw the dirty, and cranky looking man approach, his eyes lighting up and a smile on his face. It took all of his strength not to run the rest of the way to him. "Adler!" He called to the man but Fields only walked through him and spoke to the other Caesar.
He continued to watch the two go through their awkward and great moments that the demon treasured greatly until it all led to his "death". He didn't regret stepping in front of Fields, how could he? It was either his well being or watching the person he loves die, the answer was obvious and he would definitely do it again if it meant Fields would live. He may be lonely and may grieve the loss, but Caesar hoped Adler understood his sacrifice and his love for him.
Suddenly Caesar awoke with a cold sweat as his glowing eyes looked around the dark atmosphere wildly. Where the hell was he? And what was going on? The air smelt awful and not even he could see through the darkness. How had he gotten here? The smell was just too awful to ignore and he wanted to vomit. As much as it sickened him he had to get out of there so with a deep breath, Caesar shut his eyes and quickly thought of a place before he found himself on his bedroom floor covered in his sweat and dried blood. "W-What the hell is happening? Am I still dreaming?" The demon's body was so weak that he could barely move and the smell of that wretched darkness stuck to his dirty clothes. He tries to stand but only fell back on his butt with a loud growl. It may have taken him awhile, but Caesar managed to make it to his bathroom so he could wash the filth off before he stunk up the entire house.
As he sat in the tub weakly scrubbing off the stench, Caesar thought about how he was alive, and he knew for a fact that he was because on his chest right above his heart was a nasty scar that matched his other scars but was much larger thanks to the psychotic doctor.
With a towel wrapped around his waist and one drying his hair, the demon, now able to walk, stepped out of his room before looking over at Adler's room. He slowly walks over to it and puts his hand on the handle but doesn't open it right away. If he wasn't home then Caesar would wait in here for him, might scare him half to death, but he hoped the man would at least be happy to see him. With a deep breath in and out that smelt like mint from his toothpaste, Caesar opens the door. Inside, he found a figure hiding under the blanket which made his heart leap in hope and dread at the same time. It was either Fields or some woman he hooked up with. If it was the latter, he hoped she had fun because it would be her last day on earth. He quietly shuts the door behind him like he did the day of the fight and walked over to the bed. He reaches a hand out, hesitates...then slowly removes the covers to find the man he loves. His heart beat faster as he stroked the man's cheek. "Adler..." xxxxx

Fields blearily opened his eyes, greeted by the dimmed light created by his blanket. The shower was on. Did he leave it on? Was someone in his place? The doctor made an attempt to move, but ended up back in his curled position. It didn't matter anymore, he didn't care if he got robbed or not. There was nothing worth that much, and he had no need for money. Or food. Anything...
The door opened with a creak and the doctor tensed up. The thief made it to his room, and by the sound of hesitant steps, whoever it was saw him. Should he fight? Maybe he should stay still. Yes, he liked that idea. He didn't have the energy to even look at his attacker. But that was okay. Maybe the intruder was a murderer, maybe he'd kill him and get rid of this unbearable pain at his chest. Dr. Fields slowly closed his eyes and listened to the footsteps stop near him. He sensed the light shifting of the blanket and winced when it was removed, now exposed to the cold air and the bright lights of the outside world. Then suddenly, there was a warmth against his cheek, and a tender voice that called out his real name.
His eyes instantly opened, ignoring the light that stung. That voice, it couldn't be...! Fields sat up with a start and looked to his side, catching his breath when he saw the demon. Caesar stood by his bed with only a towel covering his modest body. The doctor sat there, stunned, at the sight of the once dead man. Finally, he found the energy to talk. "Caesar..." Fields whispered, his voice soft from days of no use. "Is it... Is it really you?"

Shadow demonCaesar smiles before he moved closer again and and gave the man a kiss on the forehead before sitting down on the bed in front of him."I know it's hard to believe, but yes, it is really me. I have a feeling that I didn't die. I was...dreaming and woke up in some dark place that smelt awful. I thought about this place and when I got here I dragged myself to the shower...I seriously stunk and was still in my clothes and blood." Caesar looked down and gently ran his fingertips on the large scar over his chest. "And I have this that shows I healed, my body wouldn't have healed if I had died." Caesar turns to the man again before leaning toward him and giving him a small kiss before resting his head on his shoulder. "I was sure I would never see you again when my eyes closed that day." xxxxx
