After her comment about being heavy - which was ridiculous in its own right - Thackery was ready to lay on the reassurances once more. But one of them included something about his extra attention to working out and improvement of his totally manly physique, which was an improvement made for a Certain Reaper, which was something he didn't want his thoughts lingering on...so his mind threw that train right off the tracks and fixated on her decision instead.

His ears perked. Daaaanciiiing! He tried to contain himself, hoping to prevent a thrilled, bouncy outburst of yay-yay-yay dancing yay-yay-yay best choice yay-yay-yay, but the exuberance was still very evident in his tone.

"Yes! Dancing is good! Let's go dancing!" Laughing, tail wagging, he gently tugged her towards the dance floor.

The music, somewhere between slow song and ballad, proved to be a little awkward for both traditional slow dancing and the happy hopping sort of dancing that went along with the faster songs. But he was creative, and did his best to adapt; still holding her hand, he moved with the tempo, even taking a moment to jokingly attempt one of the partner spins that seemed obligatory in fancy dance parties.

Wren certainly seemed awfully sweet! However, Xiu did not miss the fact that she seemed a little timid as well. Deciding it would be best to keep her mask off for now, she made a mental note to be careful not to startle the poor ghoul.

"And your Wren is very lovely indeed," The baku grinned at Sparrow, only to break down into giggles at his embarrassment. Now now, it wasn't that embarrassing to say that Xiu had tried giving him some tips on ghouls, was it? "I just gave him some advice," She clarified, and then decided to leave it at that (if only for the reaper's sake).

Perking up at Siobhan's concern-filled voice, Xiu was quick to hold up her hands and shake her head. "Oh, no, not you, Siohban! You are a wonderful dancer, I'm sure! Me, on the other hand..." She trailed off with an awkward laugh. "W-well, so long as we have fun tonight, right?"

But when the banshee broke out dancing and encouraged them to join, Xiu slowly turned to look at Wren and Sparrow. After a moment of thought, she clasped her hands together and bowed to the boil. "Why doesn't the gentleman, er, go first and show us how it's done?"

Danny blinked a few times. Well as long as Roch wasn't choking her new friend, she was A Okay with whatever had just happened in front of her. Towards Lou, she said, "Uh, I'll see you later, okay? Oh uh, dance with Gene!" What a perfect solution yay.

With a wave, she grabbed Roch's hand and dragged him out to the dance floor. Slow dancers were ... not her forte. She was much better at just moving and wiggling in whatever way she pleased, buuuuuut this was her one dance with Roch. She figured it'd better count.

She put both her arms around Roch's neck and said, "What happened to Baccablangbla?" Yeah Danny still couldn't remember her name, okay? "Shouldn't you be dancing with her?"

Shehk immediately released Jericho's arm then looked away from him, her ears flattening back. "Sorry...."

"We could eat or we could dance," Chaya said brightly. "I don't eat much but I like sweets and nice raw meat and things to drink. But maybe we should dance first so our bellies won't be heavy from eating, sometimes that makes me slow."

It had just occured to Astra that, while dancing was fun, and even if she could dance properly in her dress, there was the fact that she had no idea as to what kind of dance there would be.

Since they were wearing masks, wouldn't it be like the ones in th movies were they...

..held each other's hands?

Not to mention that she only came up to his waist! The image of the ghost boil trying to bend down and dance with her was awkward, and she didn't want to do that to yuki.

..but wait! She could fly and dance! though it would look weird to try and dance like that...

Danny glowered and smacked Roch's head again. "You put both hands around the waist dumbass." Wow this was just so romantic, wasn't it. "Even I know that!"

She laughed and said, "I'd ditch you too if you danced like this." Poor Bacca. Doomed to a punk boil who had no idea what to do with the female body. "You talk about graduation a lot lately."
