"Meanwhile I'll extract the seedlings. Once I get them safely free and in the pots, I will need you to cover the roots about an inch with the soil." She spotted a pair and slipped them on, walking over to the planting soil and bringing it over to her new work station. She took a few handfuls of dirt and began spreading them in the bottom of the pot before she suddenly stopped and said, "You're not gonna startle me again, are you?" He stood and brushed the dirt off of his hands with a sigh. "I suppose so. At least it appears to be warming up some. Perhaps we'll get an early spring?" She slipped her gloves off and set them next to her work place. They'd most likely finish tomorrow. "Let's cross our fingers," she said, walking with Alexander to the front of the shop. She was certain she had taken her car to work today. For a moment she paused at the door as she did a few nights before, except it was at her front door last time. "Thanks for everything," she told Alexander, a little quietly, as she leaned up to plant one more gentle kiss on his cheek. This time she didn't rush the gesture, and was sure of what she was doing. ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander watched her go, a little less impulsive this time than last. However, in the darkness left by the sinking sun, he glowed. Gonna have to cut back on that if you're going out. Rasiel said from his spot curled atop the desk. "Huh?" Alexander said, his voice far off, before he snapped to and shook his head, clearing it as his glow disappeared. "Oh, right." He said, heading towards the back. Rasiel rose and trotted after him. Just because you're one of them doesn't mean they won't rough you up, you know that, right? The fox said, his tone somewhat worried as Alexander began packing a satchel. He only chuckled though. "The forest here is very deep and there are many places for my kind to hide, but I don't think there's anything in there strong enough to rough me up." He said, turning and bending to scratch Rasiel's head. "Are you wanting to come along or stay here in the shop on your own?" He asked. Rasiel stared at him for a moment, his tail sweeping the floor thoughtfully, before he let a small sigh out through his nose and climbed into Alexander's satchel.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
