Kin slowly lowered the notepad and watched as Cole began looking over the ring. He was very confused at this point, especially when she began speaking gibberish (french). When she sat down Kin scooted a few inches away, but otherwise stayed were he was. When she finally spoke up he started to get really creeped out. The situation mixed with her strange monotone just made it seem that much scarier. Still he wasn't about to say no at this point and slowly nodded in reply.

She nudged Kin's shoulder gently, "I didn't get to have friends, workin' the way I did, had to amuse m'self. Anyway, I had this job...details ain't important, but it was dangerous and it so very...very wrong. But I was a kid, y'know, I didn't know any better." She held up the ring so it glinted in the light, "The box was an early birthday present from..." For a moment it seemed she had trailed off, and she got a dreamy sort of look in her eye as she recalled the past. "Luca," she sighed finally, "His name was Luca." A smile crept onto her face briefly, "He told me not to open it until my birthday. Wouldn't give me any hints, but he said it would help him take care of me." Cole snorted with half-hearted laughter, "Can you imagine? Me needing caretaking? I certainly couldn't. But I promised I wouldn't open it. I was fifteen. Stupidly letting my youth...my feelings...thinking I could...God..."xxxxxxxA glance at the cigar box on the table and Cole was gone. Her throat felt as if it had closed, and she swallowed hard, placing a hand over her mouth to stop any kind of emotion from cracking her voice further. She furrowed her brow and shook her head as a sort of apology for not being able to continue.

Kin looked on, still scared, but less so as she started. when she nudged him he tensed up a bit, and couldn't shake the feeling she was resentful towards him. He quickly guessed that her life hadn't been very good, and he had spent a good deal of time talking about how fun his had been, so it made sense as to why. He listened as she started talking about her "work" and the young deerkin didn't even want to think about what it was, so he tried his best to ignore it. When she got onto the subject of the ring he cast his eyes to the ground, suddenly feeling really bad for opening the box. It was her friends gift to her and he went and forced her into breaking her promise because he was curious. It seemed so stupid thinking about it, why hadn't he just left well enough alone? When she started chokeing up and couldn't continue Kin kneeled up next to her and without any hesitation he hugged her, trying to show her that it was allright, that he was sorry, that he wished he hadn't put them in this situation in the first place.

 Segarus thought over what Shikori said. She wanted to agree with Namihana that it was impossible but she knew differently. " Can we talk about this somewhere else like the beach? Or my place? " she asked quietly. These turned of events seemed vaguely similar to her so she wondered if Shikori recognized it as well

Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu  Shikori nodded. "Fine with me; I have a feeling that the headmaster, if he doesn't already know about this, may need to know about it. As much as I hate revealing details of either my past or anyone else's unnecessarily, we may not have much choice," he said quietly. Namihana frowned, wary. I have a feeling Shikori's been holding a lot of information back from everyone... possibly even himself, she thought, not liking the idea of his 'darker' personality surfacing again since that side of him was scarily unpredictable.

Segarus nodded and thought discussing with the Headmaster would be a good idea. " But not now clearly once this Sage/Royce issue calms down a bit," she muttered as she took Shikori's hand. She glanced up at him, " I know my old friend is in there so calm you arse down," she said noticing the slight hostile look in his eyes. The three hybrids headed to Segarus' home in the Demonic planes. She opened the door sighing as she motioned them in.

Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu Shikori tilted his head fractionally; he was cautious by nature, and wary of those he didn't trust with his life. "It makes you wonder if there's a traitor here... or a group that hopes that the s**t will hit the fan and show that what the media knows of this place is barely a shell upon what is really here," he said quietly. Namihana blinked, not liking the idea. A low growl slipped from her lips as she shifted, her gaze flicking warily around as she took a deep breath, sending a subtle pulse of youkai out like echolocation and relaxed when it came back with nothing but the usual trees and nearby buildings. Too bad I didn't focus it strongly enough to penetrate within the buildings, but doing that would have alerted any sensory demonkyn to our location and strength, she thought. She saw her brother glance at her with a thoughtful gleam in his eye and realized she'f forgotten that he was telepathic only with her. Interesting. If I didn't know better, I would have said you had been at that little camp as well, though I know you weren't, he thought back, noting a slight blush staining her cheeks in response as both of them slipped into the home.

Sage stopped in his tracks and turned to the girl with a look that simply screamed 'you can't be serious...'. "... what?" "The two twins said they were looking to spend some energy and relieve their stress, so I figured that they would like to spar with someone that they could use as much energy they want on them. Plus the girl you had versed seemed like she needed further training, so that's why I offered for them to all go against me... though we'd have needed another island lest this one get destroyed." Sages face went blank around halfway through the girls explanation, completely unable to believe her... Was she really -THIS- naive? The man attempted to make several responses, but stopped himself each and every time, not able to find the exact right words to let her know what he thought of the situation. He decided to just give up while he was ahead and headed to the door, Liara following out of instinct, and still wanting to question the red-head. "Was that response wrong?"Sage walked back to the house and changed into a tee and pants, then continued to walk around the island for a while to continue to answer Liaras questions, almost all of them regarding the Human world with the odd question about Royce and his life thrown in every now and then. "And what about the transport around the continents? Don't you have teleportation magics you can use?" "Once again, that's just like travelling around a single country: it's mostly planes and boats... how the hell does Royce -enjoy- this?" "Hmm?" "*sigh* Nothing, don't worry. This was Tara Forbeses providing todays major announcement."] As soon as the message ended, Sage placed the card back into his pocket. "I thought you said that you didn't have magic?" "We don't. This is technology, pretty high end stuff too from the looks of it: must be one of the big manufacturers like Samsung or Nokia... I thought they only supplied Holodecks like this to corporations, though?" "Holo... deck? And who's Samsung and Nokia, they sound like amazing people if they make these things for everyone." Sage really didn't want to reply to her, but if he didn't she'd likely do something painful to Royce if he didn't so he had to. And Holdecks- these things here, are the most advanced devices available to the public capable of housing a hologram device." "... okay?" Sage let out a deep, irritated sigh as they walked onwards to the main school building. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ -"And for the benefit of Royces life, I shall protect it with every ounce of energy and strength it has to offer."- |- Out Of Comission: Alright guys, I owe everyone a MASSIVE apology for being absent the way I was: these last couple weeks, I've been sick with the flu and my mind has been in an absolute hellish state. I've tried getting on multiple times to write some kind of reply, but being the stubborn b*****d that I am I wasn't happy with any of my posts and didn't want to post them. I'm not trying to make excuses here, but please understand that I'm still recovering from this p***k of a flu and making this post has taken me several hours. Yes, hours and over two days. That's how screwed my head is right now, but I don't want this RP to die out like so many others. Not just for my sake, but for evryone else here since the story hasn't even truly started yet: mine and everyone elses.-|

Page 30-
Kairi intrudes, Karin lectures Kairi and pulls her out from intruding. Cole enters the story.
Aura reacts to sudden scolding and then pulled up from behind, then is noogied.
Eumi laughs and teases Aura, calling her a wimp and asks royce if she can take a shower.
Caligon talks about Eumi and his girlfriend, how women are easilyy manipulated and his lactose intolerance.
Namihana describes the last person who tried to manipulate her, in few words.

It's my senior year, and I am taking freshman English through university, a college French class, AND I'm the lead in our fall play (which happens to be Shakespeare). Needless to say, my life is buzzing right now and I just don't have the motivation to roleplay... ))
