"M'sorry, Ah couldn' help at all. Jus' two hits an' Ah couldn' do anythin' else." Ofelia accepted the bandage as best she could, limiting how she cried out in pain at the gentle touches that was Jordan's attempt at healing her. She still felt like crap, her shield was still shaking, and her body trembled against both the cold and the threat of shock. Still, she apologized again and again. Sun Hunters were supposed to be the power hitters, they were supposed to be what could be counted on. "M'sorry, M'sorry. Jus' dun leave me b'hind."
She tried to push herself upwards, to get back to the sled, but she wasn't moving any better now than she had been dragging herself. At this rate she'd get stuck and someone would have to tote her and then maybe on the sled she'd get left behind. Ofelia's brain was spinning with delusions brought about by well, getting smacked around, and all she wanted was adventure.

Sasha didn't answer. She couldn't. There was a knot in her throat the size of a melon and it hurt to even breathe. All she could do was stand next to Jerry, tucked carefully against his side. When he posed a question she gave him a slight nod. Sasha kept her eyes squeezed tightly shut. When they moved forward, Sasha crossed her arms over her chest, her gait slow and shuffling. There was so much comfort in Jerry's presence next to her, though; if it hadn't been for him, there was no doubt that Sasha would be stranded on a small floating iceberg waiting for rescue - or death - whichever came first.

"Nobody's getting left behind if I can help it, okay?" Jordan grumbled. "Rest, Ofie." He crouched down to pick her up, putting her back down on the sled. Louder, so others could hear as well, he said, "We're staying put until help arrives. No sense wearing ourselves out trying to get back when we're not even sure which way we're going. I've got confirmation from Clarice that someone's coming out to get us." He looked around trying to get a mental tally. "If you've got bandages and you need them, use them. If you've got bandages and you don't need them, help someone else." A pause. "Check around you, see if you see anyone missing. If someone's missing, I want to know as soon as possible."

He could hear voices up ahead... it was quiet, unnervingly quiet, his ears were ringing again, but he could dimly make out red and blond.... "W-we're... we're here, Alpha.." His voice was shot, crackling around the edges as he tried to call out to Jordan. One knee buckled a moment in exhaustion from his leaps, but he staggered to catch himself. Once they had crossed the threshold of bodies all sitting and mending and rallying the troupes, He gently guided Sasha to sit, sucking in a shivering breath before shrugging out of his damp jacket to put it over her shoulders. "I'll... I'm just going to... to check on..." He took a few steps before his legs decided it was best to sit for a few minutes. He heard something about bandages. He didn't need any, he was fine, just... cold, exhausted, cold and worn out. Emotionally and physically drained. But at least he was keeping his brain together, he noted a touch proudly. More or less, Roar sighed, but didn't press the issue.

Jerry and Sasha were there - good. "Gotcha," Jordan answered, frowning a little as Jerry half-collapsed. He was tired himself; how many people were flat-out exhausted from traversing the dangerous terrain?
"Stay awake," he called out to the group. "It's too cold out here to sleep safely. Hypothermia can kill you just as dead as a monster."

Harrison was holding Candace. He'd shifted the fireman carry to just...holding her, after the sled had got going. He kept his grip tight. Robert had got them out of there okay.
He'd seen other hunters along the way scrabbling and slipping beneath the torn up chunks of ice... but when they arrived, Jordan was corralling people. Rep, Jerry, Ofie. Bix was here in the sled. The Suns had made it, at least. Even the injured ones.
"Jude," Harrison answered Jordan, not quite moving from the sled yet. It was half a worried request, and half an acknowledgement. Hey, I'm here.

Clerise smirked down at Dakota's text. nyxtsuki moon Text to Dakota:danger sort of makes us all restless huh not here. back at base. youre all mine~ The redhead was able-bodied, fortunately, and made her way to where Jordan was, eyeing the sorry lot most of them were. "Professor," she greeted with a nod of her head at Jordan. "You let me know if you need me to do whatever." She looked down at her phone, a little sad and entirely weary now that the action was done. Her everything hurt-- first thing she was doing back at base? Gymnastics on the field. Every morning. Christ. Well, there was one thing Clerise could do. lizbot Text to Clarice:jordan said help was comin so thats prolly you everything is terrible but youll thank me later File attached: shirtlessfireman.jpg

Ofelia was thankful, just glad, that Jordan wasn't mad and wasn't going to leave her behind. Others were there too, through her bleary eyes she could see Rep and another person she knew to be Sun via the jacket. Was that the man who sang at their podding? A nice guy, she wanted to properly meet him sometime, but for now she just wanted to stay awake.
She wanted to get warm and then maybe get something to eat. She still had her pack with her, it had been practically tied to her body, so maybe she could pop it open and eat it right now. The weight and horrors of the situation hadn't really set in just yet, this was still just an adventure to her.
If things kept going this way it was likely Ofelia was going to end up with a bad case of PTSD and a hella lotta denial.

Candace wasn't paying attention to anything. A part of her was deeply ashamed of herself for not keeping her cool, for not staying her usual cool and collected self. She was so ashamed of herself. But then at the same time...she didn't give a s**t right now. She wanted this to have been a nightmare. She wanted to wake up now. Please. She was cold because her blanket had fallen off, obviously. This was obviously the night she had asked H to warm her and...and he must have been called away while she was sleeping. Yes, that was why she was cold and H was gone. Her subconscious knew he had left to attend to something more important than holding her as she slept.
Not this time, dearest.. Atropos' voice was soft, gentle. She was sympathetic. She knew how Candace cared for the doctor. She adored him so... Did you hear Jordan just now? What? Candace was silent on the outside, huddled up against Harrison with her head tucked underneath his chin as she stared off into the distance, eyes drooping. She was tired and her eyes hurt from crying so much. She wanted to just rest them. Stay awake, Candace. You're not allowed to die on me. Her voice was stern now, not taking no for an answer. Candace forced her eyes open again. Stay awake...
Eh? They were calling out who was missing?
...Wait..who was missing?
"JERRY!?" Candace called out in a panic, sitting up sharply and looking around with wide eyes. Her heart raced wildly in her chest even after she spotted him nearby. Oh thank god. He was okay. He was here. He was alive. Oh thank god. Thank you so much. Sasha? She was here too...they..they were okay. Jude? Was that why Harrison said Jude's name? Was he not here? s**t.

Jerry flinched as he heard his name shouted, "Wasn't 'sleep-" He croaked, closing his eye behind the cracked lens to try to see a bit clearer. He didn't want to know who was missing. He didn't want to know who wouldn't be coming back. It didn't matter. They were all just dead men and women walking. Fight the good fight, and vanish in their due time.
Still shivering, he lowered his head back down onto his knees again.

Aleister hadn't been paying attention he was fiddling with his phone and trying to figure out which way was which. Ugh he should've paid more attention, he started walking around looking to see if there were any signs of which way they should move.
The sun being about the only indication he had of what was even where. "I'm so ******** useless." He muttered stopping and looking around.
<Probably. But you're alive.> Puca for once was trying to be helpful instead of chiding the kid.
<That's not going to get us out of this. That won't get us back to base. It doesn't matter if I'm alive or not if I'm useless....>
He was keeping himself busy and trying not to think about everything that'd just tried to kill him, them. If he could just figure out a way home it'd make up for freezing and not being able to move, too afraid to even attempt to smack the monster.
"Stupid..." He muttered and walked a little ways through the snow away from the broken chunks of ice. He could see the group, so it wasn't like he was going to be lost.

Harrison's voice and Clerises' evoked a wave of relief. The important people were alive. Even Jerry seemed to have made it somehow or other. It just seemed that they were all artifactless still and with little chance now of finding it again, failed again despite their best efforts.
Physically at least he wasn't too injured, though he wasn't actually sure how he felt about this. He felt as a sun it was probably some sort of duty to get maimed. If you didn't you weren't fighting hard enough. He couldn't help but sigh as he watched people dish out bandages most of the fight he'd been utterly useless and now he felt utterly useless again. He didn't even have any bandages of his own left to offer people.
He didn't bother sitting down, he had a feeling once he did it'd be so much harder to get back up on his feet again.

Wobbly ice. Wibbly wobbly icey wicey. Feng was getting cold, and tired, and he was just running out of the drive to really get through this. The ice was still cracking around him, and it seemed as though the whale he'd successfully dodged earlier had found him again. It crashed through the weak ice and made an roar of a noise, and Feng cried out as once again the whale came down on his little flow. It acted as an almost seesaw, and he was tumbling through the air as the whales considerable weight tossed him.
He felt like a rag doll being carelessly tossed this way and that.

The best benefit to having performed that intensive feat of physical exertion was that Robert was now overheating. His entire body was melting the snow underneath him, leaving him in a rut until he climbed up out of it. The cold of the snow had done wonders to chill his spasming shoulders, but he was still sweating bullets underneath all of his layers of clothing, and probably letting out the heat of a small sun. He sat up and took inventory, looking up everytime someone checked in or said something. Then he pushed himself to his feet, and stretched out his back, cracking it left and right. Candace's shout made him jump in surprise, almost slipping back onto the ice, but he caught himself before he fell and moved to check on his cargo. Everybody looked alive. That was all they could ask for in a situation like this. Ofie had climbed off the sled like an idiot, trying to get herself a bandage. Robert walked over to Jordan, and patted his bosses cheek affectionately, one side of his lips turned up in a half-smile. Then he bent down and lifted Ofie up into his arms, groaned at the strain his back and shoulders ached with. "Keep to the limo, Ofie. I ain't gonna get you back twice." He warned, bringing her back to the sled and placing her gently next to Harrison. He got a good look at Candace then, and winced. "Ahh.. ******** it. Move over you faggots." He growled, walking around to sit so that he was effectively sandwiching Candace with Harrison. He didn't necessarily want to hug her, but his warm body pressed against her nonetheless, her own little space heater. He just lay there, a big overheated bear rug for his entire sled to warm up with, and let out a grunt.

Rep gave the crowded sled a dismal look. He didn't do group building exercises or group hugs. He just pulled up his scarf, nestled his chin to his chest and hugged himself, glaring irritably.
All the nope.
