Sasha didn't have to move too quickly to catch up to Jerry as he hobbled to the water cooler. There was something going on, something she wasn't sure she wanted to understand. She was feeling a little bold, too, since they were out of earshot of everyone. De-summoning Nona, Sasha quickly snapped the barrette into place before assisting Jerry with the cups of water.

"I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to punch that guy," she mumbled, nabbing a few paper cups. "Are you okay? I uh.. I need to get some water to bring back to Miss Candace. She's all sorts of upset. Everyone is kind of... here, let me take that... everyone is kind of acting strange."

Sasha fell quiet, offering Jerry a small, comforting smile.

"Jerry's a nice name too," she offered, a belated response to his previous compliment.

Michael would have wittily replied that 'Yeah it’s called agreeing to join Hunters in the first place.' except he'd finally decided to take that nap.

Or passed out.

50/50 there.

Oh s**t.

"Woah, buddy? You nappin' or dead?" Otto asked, only slightly concerned. Maybe a bit more than slightly. He'd seen a lot of dead people in his life, but never had he seen someone die. He would prefer to keep it that way. Jaded as he was, the idea of watching someone die was a little scary.
But maybe he was just over thinking it. This guy was just.. tired?

The young hunter smacked the man's cheek a few times to try and snap him out of it. "Hello?"

s**t. Please be napping.

Cass finally popped up to walk over to the portal to see how the new-bodies through were faring, as well as get them moved out of the way as to not be stepped on. She crouched over Bix and Leon.

"How you two doin'?" she asked, prodding.

"Oh, hello." Minnie replied hesitantly at first, shuffling in her seat to face the other trainee. When the woman went on to ask a question, and was presumably as interested in involving herself in all the commotion as she was, the death hunter smiled and replied in a whisper.

"It happens often enough. More so now than when I first woke actually. But I try not to get involved." And was doing a damn good job of it! The only drama Minnie had to deal with in her life up until now was the situation with Bix, and that had pretty much mauled itself over...sort of.

Still facing the woman, it suddenly occurred to Minerva that she had never seen the other trainee before. Not in debriefings, not in the cafeteria...this was a completely new face. And a wonderful distraction.

"I'm Minerva." She extended a hand for shaking. "Are you...erm..." She paused for a moment, tapping at her chin as if to find the right words. "New?" That might not have been the best, but it worked.

Ice Queen

Once he was on his feet, Jason tried again to reach the safety of the portal, but his efforts were hampered when he bumped into another trainee. He would of apologized, but he was too busy trying not to wet himself.

Michael's arm was freaking fractured. The pain of a few slap's wasnt going to bring him round. At most he sort of mumbled something and scrunched up his face.

"Sydney Lowe," Sydney said, taking the hand offered and shaking it firmly before letting go. "I'm one of the latest released from the pods--they call us the lambs," she explained. "I'm a Mist division."

She hesitated, then let out a sigh. "I actually believe I prefer dealing with yetis and undead," she said quietly. "They're less argumentative. Although the smell is much worse," she added. "You're... death division?" she asked. "I spent time as one in the north pole. It seems like a very interesting division to be in."
