London looked up from her less then half completed work sheet. She listen to the teacher state that class was dismissed and that they should study for the test. Uh, yeah that was going to happen. London picked up her backpack and jammed her worksheet and pencil into it. She slung it on her shoulder and walked over to the door. Oh the map! London had to have a map so she wouldnt get lost in the jungle maze of a school. She pulled it out and was ready to explore.

Misaki Shinonome

______________________________

So Misaki was somewhat productive during the course of the class. She was pretty sure she got some studying done and she made a mental note to study in her dorm and the five minute cramming time didn't sound so bad either. It was amazing what one could cram into their brain during a cramming period.

"Well, I'm off to enjoy lunch. See you later." Misaki said to her friends and then she headed to the door and left.

”All say, ‘How hard it is that we have to die’
- A strange complaint to come

Kasie's brain was officially fried, but she understood. That's all that mattered. Though, she still might need the extra practice.... Since everyone else basically left, she decided to gather up some review handouts, going invisible as she did so, before wandering off to finish them up.

English was such an easy and redundant class, in Vincent's opinion. What was there to learn anyways? He already knew how to write, had amazing grammar, and literature did not interest him. It was a bunch of emotional nonsense to him; literature was like poetry which was a bunch of annoying individuals who wrote their complaints on paper in order to burden the word. However, it was a required class in his case so Vincent had to attend this class.

He walked into the classroom with a bland, annoyed expression. Maybe, just maybe the teacher would indulge his students by teaching them something useful. Vincent was a practical and logical person who had no use for reading in between the lines to find some greater hidden meeting in the words. Who cares.

After the little jaunt to the mall, Angela finally made her way back to the school in time for English class--only just. But she was glad she made it. She really wanted to talk to Misaki about getting the journalism club into gear. Well, not the journalism aspect so much as the secret investigation into the staff. It was really time to get that bit moving. She was thinking of suggesting they start meeting during study hall, going forward. That way they would be sure to have regular meetings.

Clearly, they couldn't be trusted to meet up ad hoc because they just never met up. And whatever the staff (or parts of the staff) was up to, they were going to get away with it if no one made and effort to look into the matter and stop them.

She slid into her desk and took out a notebook, making a few notes about articles that would be easy to write up and be a good cover for their real activities. She also started to list students they may want to bring into the group--the real group, not the fake journalism group. Maybe they should bring Renivere into it. Angela was certain she could be trusted. And Kasie.

Maybe Sethrian...hmm. Who else could they trust?

"Literature is complex and one really has to think to understand it."

Severin entered the classroom. Why did the spell casting classroom have to be so far away from the English classroom? And with all the power he used during his last class, Severin was just burnt out.

Thank goodness no one was going to be doing anything asides from their test today. "Hello." Severin said with a pleasant smile to the students in his classroom. For once it wasn't Veith that was first. It sure was getting awkward when the small boy would walk into the classroom and just sit there and then try to talk to Severin, but Severin would give him an equally lame response. It was just hard to talk to that boy.

"Today is a test. Hopefully you have all been paying attention to the grammar lectures and working on the worksheets?" Severin said and he glanced at the male student who he had not seen before (Vincent). "If you wish, you can sit in the back of the room and study. I can give you the notes. But it's nothing really new. It's just a review of grammar. So if you're ready, you can take the test..."

((My posts will be slow. ^^" I'm studying for another calc test.))

Merela LeeAnne Trensay

Merela had just left the library, and was heading down a long hallway to English. She liked this class, esspecially when they got to read. She liked to read.
Upon entrence of the room she noticed a white haired female would looked fermilliar, and that black haired man. Uhg! If he was in this class she would probbly end up hateing it. Or, loving it. that all depended on how annoyed she could get him. Might as well start now. She sat next to him and flashed him a small smile the looked away.

While Kasie really did not want to even go to class after making that kind of discovery, she still managed to bring herself into the room, only to arrive just in time to hear about a test. Snickerdoodles. Really!? Auuugggh. Okay, personally, she didn't care anymore since she refused to let her brain fry any further! She was just going to not freak and wing it through with confidence.

She wandered over to an empty seat by Angela since the other seat by the guy seemed to be taken by that creepy blonde girl who liked her hair and gave her a weak wave. "Hey, Angela. You ready for the test? I know I'm not, but hey, it's not like this is the only one in the world. Haha."

"Are we going to be able to leave class as soon as we finish the test?" Angela asked. "Or do we have to stay the entire time, even after we're finished? I wanted to head to the library to do some work for the journalism club if I could..."

She grinned at Kasie as the other girl sat nearby and started lamenting the test. "We all studied for it last time. I don't think it's really going to be all that difficult so I wouldn't stress out too much if I were you. Hey, you were going to join the journalism club, right? Would you object to us setting up a regular meeting time?"

"I really hope so." Kasie returned a grin back as she waited for her handout. "And of course, I am. Why wouldn't I? Journalism is awesome because you can snoop around and get all the juicy details you want." Snoop. That meant barge in on people when they weren't paying attention. Similar to how she did with Veith and Markus back in the stables. Nooooo! She paled a little at the thought before she brushed it off to the back of her mind. She said. "Go for it. It'd be nice seeing all the members for once and get this club going."

The teacher finally walked into the classroom and announced that there was a test. This interested Vincent a little but not much since the teacher informed him that it was a simple review of grammar which would be simple for him.

"I would like to take the test now," Vincent stated.

As he waited for the teacher's response, he heard some scuffling sounds next to him, notifying him that someone was occupying that seat. A scowl made its way onto his face since he did not want anyone sitting next to him, especially when they were females. He had glanced over at the girl who had smiled at him. She looked a little familiar but Vincent didn't care to remember or know who she was. It did not matter, she was just another annoying, emotional female.

Vincent leaned on his desk, waiting for a response and that was when he heard a familiar voice. He looked over and saw Angela, who was asking whether they could leave after the test. That didn't sound too bad to Vincent, he would rather leave to do something productive instead of wasting time in English. Like the library, but it seemed that Angela was planning to head there herself which would ruin Vincent's plans. There would be too many people in the library. He sighed as he faced forward again in order to think of other places he could study and do homework alone and in silence.

Percy entered the classroom and took a seat on the left side of the room. He glanced around the room, and noticed the girl from his art class, and the boy he had met during the free period sitting side by side... Well, despite their previous interaction, or lack thereof, Percy was glad to see some familiar faces. He looked over to the teacher, who seemed a nice enough sort, if a bit tired... but then he mentioned a test... A test? Percy shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He wasn't much of one for pulling attention to himself, but he was gonna have to ask...
He paused as he heard the teacher talking to the black haired boy... He must've been new too. Well, that's just fine, but Percy was pretty sure that he'd like to take the time to study.
He raised his hand tentatively. "Um... excuse me sir." He said. "I'm rather new here, and ah... well yeah. Would you still like me to take the test?"

This class suddenly grew a lot bigger than last time. More work for Severin. He wanted to sigh and mope about this. But he just smiled politely at the new student that approached him. "If you're confident with your grammar, then you should be fine with the test. But if you need a quick refresher course, you can sit in the back of the classroom and study." Severin said to the boy. "I can give you the notes and the worksheets."

Severin then turned to Angela who asked a good question. "Yes. Rather than having you sit around here doing nothing while others are taking their tests, it's better if you just leave--if you want to, that is. When you're done with your test, just take it up to my desk and I'll take it from you and you're free to go." Because teenagers with free time were a big pain in the a**.

Severin got out the notes for the new student. "If you choose you don't want to take the test, then you can take these notes and sit in the back of the classroom. If you want to go elsewhere to study, you can. You don't have to stay here." Severin got the tests and turned to the rest of the class. "As for the rest of you, settle down and the test will be starting now." Severin started to hand them out to the students. When he finished, he returned to his desk.

Veith had finally got his clothes to dry off. It had taken him a long time, which explained his lateness. Veith's hair was still a bit moist from the drenching and he had to make do without his cloak since it was just completely drenched.

Veith entered the classroom and narrowed his eyes at Professor Novaire. "Sorry I'm late, Professor. I was busy trying to dry off." Veith said sourly. And it was freaking cold and miserable too. Veith went to go take a seat beside Kasie and found that the teacher was handing out tests. Oh yeah. The grammar test. Well, Veith wasn't worried about it since it was pretty straightforward.

"Ah. Thank you." Percy said, taking the notes happily. "I'll ah, just go and study these... see you next time then."
He smiled politely, then turned to leave, sighing in relief. English was never his strong suit, so having the time to study the notes on even the easier of english tests would be much needed and appreciated. He quickly gathered up his things, passing through the classroom and quietly exiting to the hallways.
