Nelowulf I applaud anyone who really wants to start as a padawan; they aren't easy to play for sure.
Got the Bio half-finished, should have the rest of it done soon...
(P.S. What are the rules for NPC companions?)

NPCs are NPCs. It might seem tautological to suggest it, but if the NPC is getting screen time, important details, attacking with impunity and successfully standing up to a PC, chances are it's probably not an NPC..
in short, if it's going to be merely someone to dialogue or stick to the background, then it's npc. If it'll be handling details of serious defense, flying, or otherwise making a serious issue with it's expandability, it's probably not a NPC.

I'm asking because I had the idea of building a kind of scientist/tech-savvy character, with a few droids tagging along that he would continuously experiment on and such.

That's pretty true in deed. Although, if people start wrapping up their stories with the last bits, i hope to change over by the new year. so about a week's worth of time before we get to the nitty gritty advancement.

EK if you want to continue along a different route with the RP thats fine with me. dont really know what we will be doing now anyways. Ilia has Nova and i'm guessing they will be traveling together somewhat.
