That seemed like a good idea, find the other Asteroids. Hygiea wasn't aware that the others had been there - for that matter, where was HugBell? This made the little senshi bite her bottom lip, wondering where anyone she knew could possibly be.

But find the rest of the team, that seemed like a really good objective. Simple. Hygiea found her legs finally as she stood up, still cradling the blue marked cat against her chest protectively. She even found the speed and power that had been missing when the wave had hit her, moving at the speed that was normal with her powered up legs.

It was so quiet now, she realized. No bad guys and an active barrier. More rubble, the courtyard just looked trashed as she ran through it like an obstacle course. And a group of senshi and knights seemed collected in a spot, worry in their yelling towns and the same emotion on their faces as she slowed to pass them.

"Did something happen to someone?" She asked, in no one in particular. Perhaps to ********* or even to anyone who would be in earshot of the little girl. Hygiea really didn't know, having been in the background of the battle as it was.

Were there this many powered people when she had joined the battle? Well it was hard to say, with how much was going on. But some people... didn't look at all familiar in terms of clothing.

The Page, who was Bifröst damnit, gave Celsus an odd expression. They had lost someone she never knew, and the same pain did not stab her in the heart. More like, a phantom pain, shared of sorts with him. She looked at the new knights and bowed rather formally.

"I am Bifröst Page, apparently. A pleasure," she said formally, as though she was roleplaying Argabuath meeting a new tribe. Formality was never a bad thing, all in all. She watched Celsus for a few more moments before looking around.

She almost wished Celsus was their captain. He surely had the control for it. It was a control she admired greatly, in all honesty.

He is very good... even in the pain he's in, commented Arga. The page nodded in her head.

Yes, he is one to follow should things go ary.

A sudden hand in his surprised Celsus; he glanced down, looking slightly bemused at first, then lifted his gaze, realizing who it was.

"Ah," he said, and a smile graced his lips for the first time since he had been fighting the Negaverser with the paintbrush and the Dark Mirror senshi. "It's you, is it? Welcome back."

She was looking at him with a worried expression, and it was that small gesture that managed to snap Celsus from his stupor.

"All right!" he said, and clapped his hands together, straightening his shoulders with a purposeful gesture. There was no use merely wallowing in the pain that still lingered. There were things to be done, people to talk to, and information to be given - and none of that would happen if he just stood around doing nothing.

"A pleasure to meet you, Bifröst," Celsus said, the smile on his face one of genuine pleasure - it seemed he was very nearly back to his old self again, though his expression flinched mid-bow towards the page. He could still hear Leo, still hear the pain in his voice, the anger...

Celsus forced himself back to the current situation. He turned to the page who had taken his hand.

"And you," he said. "What's your name? I do believe I missed it in all of the excitement."

His eyes flickered towards where she was pointing and gave her an apologetic smile. "I'm afraid we can't go there, though - this barrier will not let us pass from where we are now."

Camelot wasn't quite sure what was going on, but he woke. When had he fallen? He had been crushed by falling debris. Or so he might have been, if he hadn't been fully armored. He moved to free himself, feeling sharp pains in his body as he worked to get out of the mess.

He had done nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

It didn't take much of a look around to see that they had failed to protect anyone. All the civilians were gone. Dead. He was sitting on the floor, looking dazed, his face covered in blood, his armor dinged, bent and broken.

The knight stood, slowly, spying new Pages running around. He didn't move for a long moment, though, trying to make sense of what he was seeing, wobbling from side to side slightly, looking pained and miserable, but still grimly determined.

There was still more to be done, he could see. He needed to catch up, figure things out, help as he could, now that he was able. There would be no making up for this failure. No playing super hero. He was no knight, his armor was not shining, and any damsels in distress were doomed to die under his care.

He understood that with a deep, profound loss of a part of himself, and a cutting, piercing sense that he would never be whole again.

The feline was oddly quiet, save for the occasional jingle her collar tended to let out with Hygiea's steps. It wasn't like she was sulking or anything, but rather she was trying to get her bearings. She couldn't even sense Iris, Eunomia, or Irene at the moment, when she could normally sense such things with great ease.

However, as the duo passed a gathering of people in rather foreign looking garb (The Chronos Knights) and the child asked her question, the animal nudged her head against the child's arm as if to signal for her to stop.

With a small dry cough, the guardian asked in her friendliest tone "I beg your pardon, folks... I am wondering if you could assist us? Please please?"

The storm that had come so quickly passed just as fast. In the early onslaught Perseus had heard the commotion from inside the castle, and had come running out to join the fight. By the time she managed to find her way out of the twisting corridors, fighting was everywhere. Just as she was about to join the fray the ground dropped from beneath her in a terrible rumble, followed by several pieces of nearby scenery that was already partially crumbled to begin with. The column that collapsed nearly on top of her sent a burst of pain through her head, followed by blackness.

By the time she awoke, the world was golden and tenuously peaceful. A bit groggily, the sailor tried to stand, tried to get up, tried to move! She found it very difficult to do so. It took a few minutes of struggling effort to remove some of the debris off of herself. Why was this so difficult? With some hesitation, she raised a gloved hand to the back of her throbbing head, more than a little dismayed to see it come back in front of her face bloody. "What happened?" There wasn't anyone in particular around. With considerable effort, she raised herself up out of the ground and staggered over to a group gathered by whatever the golden barrier was around the castle.

The more she moved, the marginally better she felt. Perseus felt less like she was stumbling around drunk and more like she actually had control of her faculties. None of the knights or senshi in the surrounding area looked familiar to her, so she just went up to the nearest group and posed her question to them, which happened to included Celsus and Bifröst. "I'm sorry to intrude, but I think I've missed something massive and would like to fill in some memory gaps. What happened? What is this...thing?" Perseus gestured to the golden wall with a bloodied hand.

((I know I missed...everything, but I'm just tossing her in at the end like she got knocked out early on. Hope this is okay!))

Peklo nodded and smiled back at Celsus, a rare expression on her constantly-worried face. He seemed in higher spirits, but she could tell he was just holding a facade, waiting until he could take it out on himself alone. Okay maybe she didn't know that much, but she liked to think she could read him even if she couldn't.

When he whipped around to talk to her once more, she couldn't help but jump a little. She may have been a big brave knight now, but you couldn't shake the Layton out of her. "M-My name is ..." she squeaked. Come to think of it, what was her name? He wasn't looking for Layton obviously. Words formed on her tongue and she spoke, "Pe... Peklo. I am Peklo."

She couldn't help but smile a little. The words felt so relaxing on her tongue. Her expression dropped when he mentioned not being able to go to the Virgo Outpost. Right. "Oh ... Well I'm su-sure we could find a bed here s-somewhere... I mean if you wanted to. We don't have to, really. Really!" she insisted.

"A pleasure, Peklo," said Celsus, and bowed to the braided haired girl. "And I'm quite sure we would all be able to use beds, but first we need to find the rest of the new pages." And find out what the bloody hell happened to Virgo.

A very familiar voice caught Celsus' attention, and he turned around so fast he almost stumbled. Relief washed over him like a wave, though he quickly hid this - after all, she would not know who he was like this. But she was alive - ********* was alive, and so was Hygiea, in whose arms the guardian cat was resting.

"Of course we can," he said, pulling his expression back so that it was much more calm, not nearly as expressive as it had been a split second earlier. He gestured for the two of them to come nearer just as someone nearby asked ""I'm sorry to intrude, but I think I've missed something massive and would like to fill in some memory gaps. What happened? What is this...thing?"

Celsus did not recognize the senshi who was speaking to him, but he stepped towards her anyway.

"It is a barrier," he answered quietly, reaching out a hand to press his fingertips lightly against the warmly glowing, golden wall. "Created by the sacrifices of many innocent lives."

He turned a slightly sad gaze to the senshi, which quickly shifted to concern when he noticed her bloodied hand.

"Please, sit down," he said. "May I help you with that? Peklos," he said, glancing back at her. "Do you have any cloth of some sort that I can use to wrap injuries with? Or any of you, for that matter - " he added, directing his question to the rest of the people standing around. His gaze fell on ********* and Hygiea again, and he gave them both a warm smile.

"Please - what is it that you need assistance with?"

It was weird to see the older girls in not so short shirted clothing, what she was used to see the girls wear. Did this mean they were like Lina, and knights? Hygiea would have the heart to ask but Celsus was answering as many questions as he could.

She had a notion of what ********* was requesting, but something that the male knight had said struck her oddly. It began to make a little bit more sense and her orange eyes widened with realization of what did seem missing. Sure, there were people about, but there had been normal civilians as well. "Wait, they died?" The little girl's mouth fell open in shock. People DIED? She knew clearly what he was referring to.

She had heard around the outposts that there were people who were killed from monsters, but it never really... affected her that much. That many people? "How... wait, what? I'm confused. That many people died? Why did the die? How did they become a barrier? Wait, dead people became a bubble? How are they a yellow bubble?" Her eyes shifted to the yellow glowing thing hovering about them, clearly confused and all she could mouth was another "wha....?"

The fact she could probably assist Perseus was escaping her; one thought at a time.

Well, the later you arrived to a party, the earlier it seemed to end. Sailor Remarque collided with the ground feeling rather disappointed at his decision to join in so late. He’d been too slow to act, and while he hadn’t suffered any damage—sans perhaps a bruised tailbone from that blast—he still seemed unhappy.

Though he’d seen Ares earlier—and the senshi that had been there when he was introduced to the Dark Mirror Court—so he didn’t feel totally alone—even if he was surrounded by complete strangers. With no civilians around.

…Which made him feel really uneasy. Because, he knew he’d seen Raven and Darwin and Candice and Mary earlier. And unless they’d magically been turned into some senshi while he wasn’t looking, that meant only one thing. With all this talk of death? He suddenly didn't blame them all for always thinking he was dead whenever they couldn't find him.

Remarque was not a sentimental person. He was very far from in touch with his emotions, in fact, but staring at the glowing shield around Chronos just made him feel…off.

There was no battle he could dive head first in, no friends to go share a laugh with, to tease and mock. Just people he didn't know. In a strange place, with stranger people. He stood and brushed himself off. He was still on edge—but still alive, which was really a plus. And unscathed. And not near any senshi—or knights. Which was a super plus.

The felines nose twitched slightly as she caught a faint scent touching the air. It wasn't anything the others would truly notice, and it was one of those times where she was grateful for having a more sensitive nose. It was about that time that ********* heard a familiar voice.

Despite how serious the situation seemed to be, the manx always seemed up for a bit of chit-chat. Now was not an exception to the rule. "Perseus... it has been a while... last time I believe I saw you was at some sort of party, yes?" Istas' birthday party specifically, but she didn't need to go into great detail about it.

With a smile upon her face, ********* nudged the child with her nose. "Hygiea... please assist Perseus with your Herbal Remedy!" The feline had not missed the comment about the sacrifice, and she also heard all of the child's questions, but she insistently nudged her senshi a bit in an effort to get her to do as requested.

Only once she seemed certain that the child would do as told, she then turned to the young man wearing the glasses (Celsus). "Thank you! My name is *********, and this young lady here if you did not catch it is Sailor Hygiea. Normally I would not need to ask about such things, but that whole ordeal discombobulated me a bit... I am actually looking for three of my other girls. I was wondering if you might have seen any of them." She glanced to the girl with the glasses (Peklos) and nodded her head. "If you are willing to lend an ear, I'd be grateful!"

After attempting to gain the attention of the others, the cat began to describe who she was looking for. "I am looking for Sailor Iris, Eunomia, and Irene. Iris is a tall girl, about 6 feet even in flats, but she has heels so she's a bit taller than that. She has short hair with long strands towards the front... kept kind of spikey held in a zigzag headband. Her outfit is heavily yellow. Eunomia is also on the taller side. She has dark blue hair, kept in braids that form loops at the end. She has a slightly darker complexion, like she's been on holiday and got a lovely tan. Her outfit is mostly dark blues and blacks. And then there is Irene. She has purple hair kept in braids as well, except hers form two sets of infinity symbols before hanging into long tails. She's shorter and younger, but not as young as Hygiea. Her outfit is heavily purple."

After the descriptions of the three individual girls, she paused before asking "...might you have seen any of them... even a hint of them?"

Kestrel had tried to hide. The senshi - she hated them. She knew it was their fault, she just knew it and so when the big monster came part of her wondered if they were trying to put on a show to seem like the good guys but she had heard Virgo. They sacrificed! Maybe thats what this was now, they wanted their precious lands alive so were sacrificing all of them.

She had no idea what was going on, she just crouched down and ran in between people trying not to get hit by anyone. In the end she just stopped and crouched down hoping she would die quickly. So many people were dying.

How long she had her eyes shut for hoping it would be over she didn't know. She heard a noise and looked up to see someone look as if they were flying towards her. Then a mirror was flung at her and smashed. Then everything made sense.

She looked at Ares, listened and nodded. She looked for the monster which she assumed was the youma and started to head towards it. Somehow things changed and she was suddenly flung to the youma. Kestrel was now a senshi with no name or power or anything. Picking herself up she looked at herself, the new clothes she wore and she couldn't help but smile. Looking around she spotted Leto and noticed the similarities with what they were wearing and while everything was quiet it seemed like a good idea to go say hi.

"Whats going on?" Was really the only thing she wanted to know, along with what was she now. Granted she knew now what she had believed all along. The senshi were wrong, they needed to be saved and helped. She looked at Leto in a way that pretty much demanded an answer. After all she did just have a mirror thrown at her and be told to fight and stay alive!

She was gone...

One moment he was helping the civilian into their circle of protection and the next... she disappeared.

But he'd been touching her. He felt here there beside him and Pasiphae. Was this what happened when people died at the Chronos Outpost? Wherever the queen was, did she know what was happening?

And suddenly everything seemed to calm down and become silent. The fighting had stopped, or at least ceased momentarily.

Then there was crying for the lost, screaming out to find friends in the midst of all this pointless chaos... and more silence from those taken over by shock.

Valhalla didn't know what to do with himself. He wanted to protect those around him, but they hadn't even been able to protect a single civilian that had been pulled under their wing. One simple thing that they'd tried to do and failed at. The call of his name from Ganymede drew him back from the state of shock he was in. He felt nauseous. No matter where he looked there as more blood and death. What was the point...?

"Get up," he said, turning to Ganymede as he sat on the blood stained floor, reaching out to grab onto his arm to pull him up. He then reached out to grab onto Pasiphae's arm, and more or less forced them to him, hugging them both, as if he wanted to hide them from the death and dispare around them. He didn't know Pasiphae as well as he would like to know her, but he hugged her tightly, either way. He held them both, and not just because it was the best thing for someone in shock, but because he didn't want to lose them, too. He'd failed to protect one civilian. He couldn't afford to lose any of his teammates, either...

"Naica??" he called, looking around for his friend, his stomach churning uneasily when he didn't see him right away. He was okay, right?? He'd only left his side for a few moments. He... he couldn't be dead too, could he? "We're over here, Europa. Babylon... Nyx..." he said to them as well, but he didn't let go of the two he was already holding since they'd been right there when the civilian disappeared. The others had been near too, of course, but he and Pasiphae had pulled her away from Ares...

This was just... pointless.

Everything had been in a blur.

Chronos' blood had frozen, utterly and completely, when the darkness fell upon them. Watching the giant youma sweep in with Negaverse officers and members of the Dark Moon Court had seized her with fear, and yet reminded her of her duty. This was the Surrounding. Chaos would not take it. Not in the past, not now, not ever.

She had silently wove into battle, Flora trying her best to keep up by her side, but they had got separated in the frenzy. As civilians died before their very eyes, Chronos could only harden her grip on her staff and fight. Even as Knights awakened around her, she concentrated on the battle at hand.

She did not notice Virgo's fall. Flora did, stomach sinking into horror as she tried to make her way to the side of the road, but was hampered by the people battling around her.

And then the Great Youma reached out a claw to grab the Princess, and even as she turned around, cerise eyes flaring as she pulled off her tiara, the Surrounding flashed and four new Pages were awakened. But it was nothing to be happy about, not when civilians started disappearing, not when they were thrown back into the respite of the Castle and barred from leaving by a golden barrier. "No." Princess Chronos whispered, letting her tiara clatter on the ground, though it reappeared on her forehead a few seconds later. Panting, she glanced around, heart sinking as she noted the injuries around her. "Those who can heal, please tend to the injured!"

With this, she glanced around to consult her Captain on the current situation at hand... and realized she could not find her. But she saw Leo, and started striding over to him, brows narrowing in confusion as she drew closer and noticed the tears streaming down. "Leo," She began. "Where's Vir--"

"Don't..." Flora choked out as she trailed behind her Princess, leaping forward to catch the latter as her knees gave way, a hand pressed to the side of her forehead.

This was deja vu. It was like when Andeon had appeared at her doorstep, full of smiles, but sadness in his eyes. When he had come to report Jude's death, when she had let that slow horrible fact sink in, when she realized that she could not sense his presence and had immediately panicked. A part of Chronos' mind screamed at her, and was adamant to believe that yet another had been taken from the Zodiac. She had lost Virgo already once and that had almost driven her to the brink of insanity and hopelessness. It seemed only like yesterday when she had screamed at the people who had tried taking Elke's things out from the room they had once shared and barricaded the door, refusing to let them in.

"The Space Cauldron can't take her." Chronos managed out, trembling. "No." She couldn't deal with handling death ever again. It chilled her to even think of that horrible d-word, and Chronos reached forward to grip Leo's hand. "Leo, what exactly happened?" She had to know. There had to be a way to help. Perhaps her radar wasn't working outside the barrier, but that meant that Virgo was trapped out there with the forces of Chaos...

No. She had to stay strong.

You've taken Eon, Sagittarius and Aries already. Cancer's still unconscious. You can't let me my best friend, my Captain disappear again.

Princess Ares pursed her lips at the golden shell that protected Chronos and her people from the dark forces outside. She walked up to it and touched it once with her finger, only to find an unpleasant jolt darting up her arm. With a sneer, Ares turned and swept back out to her comrades. She found Leto first, in motion. "Leto, please see to our newest ranks. I must go speak with the Negaverse commanders," she said. Of course, Leto was doing that on her own anyway. Ares simply had no idea.

Sylent Nyte

"We have no idea when that shield will drop. I need them to fight. Find a guardian cat who can read them -- tell them their sphere and name if they haven't found one yet. We don't have time to play with powers. Just teach them how to throw a proper punch."

The orders were quick and hurried, but Ares had too much to do. She gave Leto a stiff nod and then disappeared toward the Negaverse side of things.
