"Let's end this quickly ...use extreme speed."
The boy would declare with a wave of his hand. He would literally swipe it through the air ...as he smirks dangerously as the Togekiss would give one loud Whoopee ...as he would catch the thermal underneath his wings.
Letting it left him off the ground, he would seem to almost be floating lazily at first before he would push off and the speed of that single thrust would rock anyone on their heels. He would stream towards his target at a speed that could make a Dragonite jealous as he used Extreme Speed.
Nothing fancy, this was a direct attack.

Nightingale = 39 HP REMAINING[/b
The speed was something, it was the power of a fully evolved pokémon right there, even graceful in its power as it swept the Chansey right over and battered through with ease!
Nightingale grimaced, rolling as she went to try and blunt some of the damage, finding her way back up to her feet... she whirled on the bird, lips pursed... if this pokémon was dead...
"If it wants to battle, we give it a battle!" Jasmine declared boldly almost simultaneously with the Chansey's thoughts, before the pair now would look to each other, and solidarity formed, the Chansey would look up at the Togekiss, eyes illuminated in wild blue, her palms shot out as she focused, a blast of psychic energy rushing to grab hold of the bird and throw it to one side!

"Dodge it, and counter that attack with ...Extreme Speed again."
The boy would declare as the Togekiss would twist in the air to face his opponent. A swift upward motion first before he would power dive towards the Chansey. They saw his power, they saw his strength, and he would etch it in their hearts forever.
That was his fate.
"WE have absolutely nothing to lose, so we have no reason to take it easy at all."
He would declare as he actually explain his charge as the pokemon in question would come spiraling down. Faster, faster, and as the sphere of psychic energy that he would try and twist around as he continued his flight path towards his opponent.
Extreme Speed ....would mean if he timed it right, the pokemon won't even have a chance to drop her arms before he hit.

The two would meet head on in their attacks, as he flew with such speed, he faced right into the attack, and in a rush of wind, suddenly the Togekiss was fighting the power of the psychic move itself!
For moments on end a surprised Nightingale would try to keep pushing, but the power kept growing, just as the pressure under the Togekiss' speeding body climbed, before finally, the two grating attacks bit away and finally the Togekiss was flung away skyward unharmed, the attack of psychic energy smashed instead to the ground!
It was a complete stalemate, and Nightingale tried to pull her breath back, the attack had taken it out of her...
And the Togekiss would continue to fight without give or without rest... it truly had nothing to lose at all....
Jasmine called it, calmly and quietly. "We'll just need to do the same."
After all... they weren't here to win... just to learn Nightingale how to master her move... and that last effort... "You almost have the move, Nightingale."
"But if you're going to fight as a psychic... you need to focus... to hold an object close and focus on it, focus your attack through it!"
Nightingale blinked... to fight like a psychic... it wasn't exactly training she needed... she KNEW the attack... But using an attack and knowing it were two different things.
She felt for it... there were only two objects she would always hold... her nurses cap... no... not practical enough.
But her egg... the egg she held, an every Chansey like her... Maybe... just maybe...
Her eyes glowed blue... as did the egg, as the Togekiss would be preparing its own attack... and now, with the egg fully illuminated, she thrust her belly outward, proudly displaying the blue, before blasting the attack forward, countering wildly with her own Psychic!

"Let's switch it .....this time, long range can be good."
The boy would clap his hands as he watches the Togekiss sent flipping head over tail in the air upwards and away. The clashing force of energies had managed to cancel each other out, even though the Togekiss had taken the worst of it ....as she would climb to a certain point and then break it easily with a wing over.
She would turn back around to see that the Chansey was focusing her attack, and it only made sense that he would do the same ...as he gather the energy in front of him ....as a ball ......that he curled one wing around to hold in place. A sphere of pure aura ....as he would send it downwards as the psychic came upwards ...fighting energy versus that of psychic .....as the small bright blue sphere would head downwards.

Again attacks collided... as psychic force would meet aura orb in mid-air and the two would mingle, their lights both glowing brighter and brighter, before the two would explode in mid-air, releasing a backlash!
The psychic ball seemed to have enveloped the sphere, and while Nightingale was shielded from the blast it seemed, the Togekiss was met with an updraft of wind from the blast, enough to push it up and out of harms way as well!
Crisis averted for it, it seemed...
But before it could even right itself for the next instruction, Nightingale was already glowing again, a thin film of sweat upon her fur as she focused upon powering her attack up again, her egg glowing brighter and brighter as it gained strength!
Then finally, her power set and vision upon the bird righting itself, Nightingale cried out, as the Psychic flash flew through the air for the bird once more!

THe pushing back of the Togekiss would force him higher this time ...as the boy would stroke his chin like he had a beard.
"Far away isn't good for us. Up close and personal is best, drop yourself towards your opponent. Let's avoid any attacks and try to get in as close as you can."
He would direct. One thing that Jasmine should have noticed as a big differences was the fact that the dead seemed to response without exact instructions like the living. The Togekiss would do a loop to loop once before dropping towards the Chansey ...spinning wing over wing to try and avoid the incoming Psychic attack.

((XD Again, I know its no damage, lol, not unless I roll at least 9 more than Togekiss))
The close quarters certainly did not help the Togekiss avoid the attack... it did however help that speed, as the psychic force hit, the Togekiss pulled against it, before finally it would break free, Nightingale wheezing out loud in exertion, it was as if the room had been frozen for moments on end.
Now, it was back to the norm.
Now Jasmine looked up... close quarters AND long range... this pokémon had it all. It seemed almost tragic, so full of life, so strong... what had killed it? How had it died?
She wouldn't stop for it yet, not just for the sad thought... there was one thing to pause to remember it, it was entirely another thing to dishonor a memory by stopping dead.
Now she looked to Nightingale... "Just stay loose, like you did with the Crawdaunt, remember?"
"Ready to jump... whatever comes your way."
[Right!]

"You are lasting longer than I thought." "Okay, Togekiss ....let's try it again, use ...Extreme Speed."
The boy would declare with a swift movement of his hands. The pokemon would wink at him once as he would pull his wings against his side and fall from the sky like a bullet aimed straight at his opponent.
"You know, I am not sure if it's luck, or the Togekiss wanting to extend this fight, but eventually it will end at your lost. Do you want to quit yet?"
The boy would asks sounding just a tad bit bored.

The Togekiss was fast, too fast it seemed as it swept down, then right up, but so sharp was the turn, it was far and away from Nightingale!
The Chansey had won off again, but now, of course, it was back to the fight...
Jasmine however, laughed, "If you're tired, then you should be the one to quit! I've no qualms about quitting a fight it's clear my pokémon can't make any damage... but I can certainly wear down with a little hard work!"
"Just like this, right, Nightingale?"
[Right!] She would cry, and already the Chansey was surrounded by a rush of blue... she had been quick on her feet before, but dodging because of a lesser attack was not the same as dodging by full skill.
She was set on making this work, set on marking it, one handhold, one good, decent attack and she would be in here now!
And now, the blue glowed over her egg, swirling, before it blasted forward for the Togekiss!

(13 - 2 + 11 - 20 = 2dmg) It would happen then as the collision would hit in the air, and for the first time ...the Togekiss would take a hit as the pokemon was sent spinning wing over wing into the ground.
"TOOOOOGEEEEEE!"
(OUUUUUUCHY!)
The pokemon would scream from where it hit the ground. Shaking one wing, and then the other as the pokemon would get up slowly from the ground and shiver all over from head to bottom as it would look up surprise at the attack. It wouldn't have bet money on them being able to injury it.

PSYCHIC EFFECT!
TOGEKISS' SPECIAL DEFENSE FELL, -1!
Jasmine watched on... and the improbable hit felt came as much a surprise to them as the Togekiss.... they'd made their mark... and as it would take it's time, Jasmine simply waved her arm out, "Good work, now go again!"
And the Togekiss downed made a great target as Nighingale honed in upon it... one decisive ball of psychic energy had weakened the bird, and now with it downed, she'd taken aim already, egg shaped Psychic energy streame at the bird!

Again it would hit, the pokemon so stun that he didn't even try to avoid this one. Though his Special defense was enough to stop the attack ...as the Togekiss would start forward. He would move to slam into her again ....as he would use Extreme Speed.
This time it would be without a call as the pokemon found something quite interesting ....a pokemon much weaker than he ...who could actually hurt him. IT was something fantastic enough to make him want to test the theory once more as he stream towards his opponent.

Nightingale was dismayed say the least when she saw her attack had failed to do more that throw dust about... She had been encouraged when she had finally scratched the surface othe bird... But now... now the thing was throttling right towards her with that Extreme Speed!
There wasn't time for Jasmine to direct her, and suddenly she felt it, the urge to move, the idea to move, the instinct not to be hit, as battle was awakened within her, she knew she had to get out of the way!
This was it, this was how a real fighter battled, and there, as she hopped and leapt aside, it was all down to her instincts here, they were sharp enough, but it was down to her body as well whether or not she was fast enough to get away from the Togekiss' attack!
((Edit: Wow, lol))

The Togekiss would go through his opponent effortlessly as one wing would hit across the belly to send the pokemon flying away as he would put on the breaks. A quick upwards flight and a wing over would set him down next to the boy as he would snicker lightly.
"Though, Chansey has a lot of Hp, so I imagine you aren't quite done yet."
He would snicker at them as the Togekiss stood ready to avoid the next attack.
