Raven focused completely on Alma's wild charge, Raven had a plan for this...as a duelist he always had a plan that involved him not getting hit. Raven ran forward and ducked under her fist which avoided both punches since he was right beside her now. He unsheathed his sword in a reverse hold so as the grip went past Alma's abdomen the blade would cut through her side as he went forward. He didn't completely draw his sword, instead he sheathed his sword with all of his might, attempting to cut her again while putting his blade back in its sheathe. He also did this while moving forward so he ended up behind Alma with his hand resting on his hilt still...it was a beautiful movement, and he'd mastered it.

Alma stepped slightly to her right as an attempt to avoid the second slash from the blade after feeling the pain from the first strike though she couldn't completely avoided it she managed to receive full damage from the strikes by the blade. she then stepped back away from raven while putting her hand over the cut on the left side of her a abdomen "heh...you move good with that..weapon...hmph...fine" Alma said then reached for her lower back and dropping a scythe on the ground dragging it infront of her and holding a weighted end her left arm "okay then...lets go again..."she said then began to pick up her scythe and spin it on her side stepping side ways sizing up Raven as well as provoking him in a manner

Raven was doing well at the start, but he wasn't going to let that go to waste by charging toward her, Raven was actually weaker than Alma physically and his body wouldn't take as much punishment as her's would be able to...this is because he only worked on his weapon skills, and he'd never been hurt before, thus the reason for the flawless skin of his."Thanks, but you haven't seen anything yet." Raven smiled and put his hand back on the grip of his sword before taking his battle stance again. Raven made sure to put more distance between them so he could think about what he'd do next. If she'd seen him fight before then she knew he wasn't one to attack first because of his fighting style, it made it impossible for him to really attack first, plus his sword had to remain in its sheathe until he got a chance to strike, otherwise he was pathetically useless. Alma's only real shot was getting Raven while he was trying to counterattack her, otherwise this battle belonged to him just because of the way he fought...and he did say no holding back.

Raven saw that she swung it in a horizontal line, and you can really redirect a scythe quickly so if she missed he had his chance to hit. Raven jumped over the scythe...over even Alma and twisted his body midair, and in a light speed movement he unsheathed his blade again, the blade and red sword flashed as if hungry for blood, it was a terrible and dark weapon, but it only responded to the taste of Raven's ki, so he was the only one that could give it a home. Right now the blade bid him to cut Alma deep since he was in the air, so with a masterful spin he just did it was very likely he'd cut Alma in a vertical line on her back...embarrassing a prospect as they may be. Raven made a quick turn as his blade found itself back in a sheathe, he was keeping on his toes, but he knew that as long as he had a chance to cut Alma he had to take it if he wanted to win. "Still okay?" Raven asked as he put his hand back on the grip of Courage, only Raven could hear it...

Alma was abit surprise as Raven jumped over her scythe but smirked as she was always anticipating s dodge of some kind. as he was in mid air she used her Ki to redirect the scythe to follow Raven as he jumped high over her and managed to hook Ravens Foot before he could move to slash at Alma. and pulling him back down toward the floor slamming him down before unhinging it self from the gash now in his foot and flying back toward Alma "oh...you sneaky little boy...almost got me there..."she said with a smirk

"Grk..." Raven took a serious impact, but he'd survive, he was better than that. He popped back up to his feet in a manner of seconds...ow...quick movements like that hurt when something painful happened, but it was an echo, really. "Okay...you won't be able to get me with that one again." Raven said before spinning his blade and sheathing it, he was prepared for it now...learning was a part of what he did. "Hey, who you callin' little? I'm a year older than you!" He ignored the fact that she was taller than him on purpose. Okay, head back in the game...if he got too distracted then what was he going to do then? He just had to pay attention...

Okay wot?
Yeah, he'd moved out of the way by the time this whole thing started. But all of a sudden, a fight going on as soon as he was about to start training? Of all the worst examples of bad timing, this had to be just about up there with the top five. Still, it wasn't like he was here for the peace and quiet. So he leaned against a nearby wall and started reading the book he'd yoinked from the library. Might as well make the best of it!

Raven's eyes narrowed as he paid attention to where she aimed. With a swift upward strike he knocked the weighted end away, he sheathed his sword and didn't move from his spot. As long as she didn't do anything complex he could guard himself. "Hey, that's cheap and you know it!" Raven complained, knowing exactly what would've happened there...he would've probably gone deaf for a second...broken out in a cold sweat...or even vomitted and passed out, hecks no was that gonna happen.

Raven let himself be swept, he had no need to waste energy doing anything else. As he approached the ground his ki erupted from his back, allowing him a safe landing because of a slow fall and a way to roll backwards without much effort. His ki sunk back in to his body and he put his hand back on the blade. "Mhm..." Raven was going to be cautious around her now...not that he wasn't already, but he'd be a little bit more wary. Raven sighed...he wasn't going to win on the defensive, he drew his blade and gripped it tight with both hands. The sharp sound of a drawn blade was something Raven never really heard because he normally put his sword away right after taking it out, this sound was him taking out his sword and meaning it. "Alright...here goes!" Raven charged straight at Alma without regard for his safety and faked swinging the blade at her torso with a strong two-handed strike. It was a fake-out so if she reacted he'd automatically be able to react back, time to see if his trick worked though...

as the Chain grew nearer to Raven it actually began to wrap around his leg until it locked it self in place as that happened Alma pulled on the chain hard forcing Raven to unexpectedly to loss his balance and land hard on his back as well as slamming the back of his head against the floor after this alma began to drag him across the ground, slightly causing scratches on his back and possibly his arms and head. the dragging motion causes his sheathed sword to be moved from its original position as it continuously clashed with the floor making it hard for raven to grab hold of the sword and immidetly escape. after a few quick seconds of dragging him alma shook the chain releasing him and retracting it back towards her "..."she remained quiet as she waited for Raven to respond

Raven knew Alma probably learned already, but Raven couldn't fall down because of his ki wings, that first time he was too surprised to react, but now that he learned her game he was going to stand up this entire battle. He still continued his approach nothing changed in his technique, he was still gonna cut her. "Told you it wouldn't work again." Raven said silently as this time he swung the blade fully in a diagonally fashion across Alma's chest. He'd sheathe the blade right now, but he had no more ways to defend...so he had to stay on offense. Him retaining his balance was probably a bad thing for Alma, because in effect she just wasted time instead of trying to take him out right there...what part of "it won't get me again" made her think it'd be a great idea to do it again? Was she just leading him in to a trap?
