It didn't take long for Ryker to climb up the steps to the final guard gate, the main campus entrance where he could clearly see the Dorm Tower rising up into the sky. The place looked like a hotel. As he approached, a guard stopped and asked for his card. He must have meant his I.D card that was given to him when he stepped on the boat. They told him this card was important as it dictated your status on the island. The card was then swiped into some machine, and a green light was lit on the gate. With that the gate opened and the guard gave back Ryker his card. "Welcome to Ludus", the guard said. Ryker simply nodded and smiled, and silently walked into the Campus.

Elsbeth Norris  Elsbeth slowly approached the gigantic school, somewhat intimidated by it's size. She had so far lived on a secluded farm. Large buildings were quite new to her. She clasped a plain silver cross in her left palm, the other clutched the ratty brown backpack slung across her right shoulder, holding within it her few meagre possessions.
Walking up the large footpath, she felt exposed. Eventually she arrived at the courtyard, four tree's seemed to be the only decoration. The hug building before her seemed the most logical place for some kind of reception desk. Entering the building she asked a lady there to direct her to the dormitories, as she wanted to put her things down and have a look around. This place was a totally new environment, after all.
