Leafra looked down. "Leafra Goldenleaf." She was a bit nervous she wondered if she was going to get a room with a room mate that was nice or not.

Scanning the list of available dorms, the woman made a careful note before closing the binder and turning to a large rack of keys. Scanning it carefully, she takes down one copy before finally turning back to the pair of students. "You'll be in room 225. Your roommate's name is Luna. No boys are allowed in the hall after hours unless they are on the student council." she handed the girl her key, turning her eyes on the male student present. "Now, Mister Griffith, about that paperwo-" "I'll get back to you on that. I'm on tour duty now. Come on, Leafra." he smiled at the receptionist before turning and moving quickly towards the stairs.

Leafra laughed when Solo quickly walked away so he would not fill out papers. She followed him up the stairs. She wondered if Luna was nice or not. She was a little worried.

Mumbling under her breath about pesky college kids, she turned back to her paperwork. Looking at the room, the receptionist figures she might as well clear out some of these students. "Can I help whoever is next?" she called, waiting for someone to step up. She couldn't tell who had arrived first, but hopefully someone would step up and she wouldn't have to ask again.

 Melody glanced around. Nobody stepped forward, so she did, smiling at the lady at the desk. "Hello. I would like a dorm room please?" she said quietly, all too aware of the other people in the room.

Looking up at the girl that approached the desk, the receptionist did her best not to sigh. These kids were so frustrating sometimes, what with their demanding a dorm and then not speaking when she was ready for them. However, this new girl had done nothing wrong, and she pulled out the binder containing information on the girls. "Name please?" she asked, looking up from her list of available dorms.

"Melody Hayes." Melody told her quietly, shifting nervously. Do I have a roommate? Is she nice? The staff seem pretty nice so far.... her mind whirled with thoughts, and her nerves multiplied rapidly. Taking a deep breath, she quietly reassured herself that she'd been through worse, she'd be fine. Her phoenix whistled softly at her, and she stroked his feathers absentmindedly. Flame always knew just what to do when she was upset. He sat up straight on her shoulder and looked around, guarding her carefully. Melody relaxed enough to smile at the lady behind the desk. I can do this.

The receptionist nodded, scribbling down a few things in her binder before closing it. "I'll be putting you in room 226." she told the girl, searching the rack of keys for the right set. Finding them, she took down one set of the keys hanging. "You don't have a roommate yet, but you should get one eventually. Be sure to leave the other bedroom empty." the lady told her, holding out the set of keys. "There are no boys allowed on the floor after hours, unless they're on the student council." she told the girl, smiling lightly. "I hope you enjoy it here at Reed's."

"Thanks." Melody told her, taking the keys and starting up the stairs. Flame hummed triumphantly, scolding her for being so nervous. "Oh shut up." she snapped at him, irritated. He dared not fly off until he knew where the room was, and she knew it. Hoping no one noticed her talking to a bird that appeared to be on fire for the most part, she hurried on up the stairs until she reached her room.

 Simon walked into the reception room suitcase in tow, he strode up to the front desk and said "I heard this is where we get our dorms assigned, so would you please let me know which dorm I'm in?" he pulled his suitcase about to where his leg was and let it rest there as he waited for an answer. ((Not my finest starting post, but it'll do... I think...))

Looking up as another student approached, the lady behind the desk resisted the urge to sigh. Kids always cam in here asking to know their dorm number, but she always had to ask for a name. How would she know where to put them if she didn't know their name? She was a witch, not a psychic! "I can't until you give me your name." the woman replied with a smile, pulling out the binder for the boys hall.

"Should've seen that one coming..." Simon thought, rather sheepish that he'd forgotten to give her his name beforehand, "Simon, Simon Avalon." he said, wiping the sheepsih grin from his face to replace it with his usual smile.

Nodding to show that she'd heard him speak, the lady was able to quickly find his name, clearly marked near the room he was schedualed to take. "Room 101. You don't have a rommate yet, so please don't make the other bedroom messy." Retrieving his key from the shelf, she turned back to hand it over, finishing off her instructions in the process. "No females are to be in the room or on the floor after hours. The only exception are council students who will have a proper pass." She flashed a smile, allowing him to be on his way as she said, "Welcome to Reed's."

Recieving the key Simon smiled, "Thank you." he said, curious as to what his dorm room would look like, "Well I'm not gonna learn that standing here am I?" he thought, taking hold of his suitcase again he made his way to the dorm.

  Lucian And Hannah Lucian and Hannah approached the front desk. Lucian walked with a degree of confidence, Hannah followed slightly behind, clinging to Lucian's arm, truth be told she was scared but so long as her brother was there she would be okay. Lucian took the lead and set down his bag on the floor. "Good morning." He said with a polite smile. "My name is Lucian Crow, this is my sister Hannah. We're new here and we need a room." Hannah was slightly hiding behind her older brother, she had always been wary of strangers and this woman seemed to be no exception. "And if at all possible I'd like to keep my sister close to hand. You understand." Lucian did his best not to make the request sound rude.
