Tails wandered the streets. "Dang, there are so many hotels and stuff. Where should we stay?"

Suddenly, inside the old building, a few parasite looking demons came in through the wall, only to be blasted to ribbons by Dante's guns.
Justin heard gunshots coming from an old building. "Something tells me that one over there isn't the best choice." He said, pointing at said building.

"Think we should check it out?" asked Knuckles, looking at the building.
"Uhm, DUH." Sonic grinned, and walked towards it. They followed.

Before the mutants and Justin could reach the building, the body of a massive demon smashed out of the wall of the building and fell to the ground, a bloody mess. A blur of blood red jumped from the building, landing next to his latest kill. Dante then looked over at Justin with a smile. "If it isn't the little Popsicle." He joked.
Justin smirked at Dante. "If it isn't the sundae addict?" He countered.
Dante couldn't help but laugh.

"Who's this?" asked Rouge, putting her hands on her hips.
"And why did he just hit something through a wall?" Sonic added, staring at the mass.
Tails looked like he was going to be sick.
Knuckles rolled his eyes at Tails. "Why does this make you want to vomit? You see it all the time inyour video games."
He closed his eyes. "Yeah, but that's in a GAME...."

Justin looked at the others. "Everyone, this is Dante. He helped me discover my powers a few days ago. Sure, he did it by trying to kill me, but we worked it out." He explained.
Dante nodded, then looked at the dead demon. "Yup, that's the one. This should at least cover a bit of the money I owe Lady." He whispered to himself.

Rouge nodded. She muttered, "Rouge," stll eyeing Dante suspiciously.
"So are you, like, a demon hunter, or what?" Knuckles asked, putting his hands in his pocket.

Dante nodded. "Yeah. Not the cleanest line of work, but it pays." He told Knuckles.
Justin didn't expect Dante to show up here, but this could be a blessing. Maybe he could be of help.

Knuckles nodded. "Cool." he said admiratively.
"Cool? It's awsome!" Sonic corrected his part-echidna friend.
"Hmph." Rouge looked away. She obviously didn't trust Dante.

Dante smirked. "Yeah. The job's fun, and it pays. Sadly, I suck at gambling, and I owe a certain Lady a ton of money." He told them.
Justin looked at Dante. "I just had an idea. Dante, I know this job won't pay, and there's no demons, but there's this guy trying to take over the world. Wanna help us take him down?"
Dante thought about this. "I like ya, kid, so I think I'll help ya out, but it's gonna cost ya later on." He told the young ice demon.

Rouge's bat ears perked up, and she turned towards Dante. "I can help you there." she said, "I'm a treasure hunter, see. My only fee is a small share of what I find."
"All right! You're a new, probably temporary member of Team Sonic!" declared the blue hedgehog happily, grinning.
"Play along, or he won't shut up." Knuckles mumbled to Dante.

Dante smiled at Rouge. "You're a lifesaver, ya know that?" He asked. He then looked to Sonic. "All right, whatever ya say, kid." He told the hyper young mutant.

Rouge stretched. "Well, I'm off to find someplace to eat, bathe, and sleep. See you guys tomorrow." The bat-girl turned and walked off.
Tails rubbed his eye, but blinked and lowered his arm.
"Someone's getting sleepy." Sonic said.
"A-a-a-ahhhhhhhhhm not." Tails yawned. He smiled slightly. "Okay, maybe a little."
