Mia noticed the death stare that the Azurill had. She certainly didn't think that he was overbearingly cute now. She looked down at Venus, and her Pokemon looked back at her. They both knew that this small Pokemon should be taken seriously, that he was out for blood. "Tackle him, Venus!" Mia said to her pokemon and almost immediately, the Numel started charging towards the small blue Pokemon.

[14 - 5 + 7 - 7 = 9x2 = 18]
The Azurill would end it all in one move ....as the water burst free of him. As it slames into his opponent quite heavily as the Torkoal would actually be knocked out by the single attack .....as his tail flicks from one side to another.
There was a satisfied and surprisingly smug look on his face. He had been thrashed before, but he wasn't going down no where near as easily a second time .....as his ears flatten against his head.
He was more than ready for another battle as he looks at her quite expectingly. They had caught him half sleep before, but he was wide awake and more than ready for a fight this time.

Mia couldn't help but be very frustrated... and very worried. This small Azurill was out for revenge and wasn't going down without a fight. "Okay, I see how it is..." She whispered to herself. She called back Venus and released Slash. "This is Slash... I think you two have met before?" She said, smirking. She wasn't going down without a fight either.

The Azurill's tail hit the ground as he smiles and nods. Yes, they had met before, and last time it was him that went away in pain. But, this time ...this time it would be different as he walks towards the female before pushing his tail into the ground ...speed was on the Zangoose's side, and he was going to try and avoid the attack this time by jumping over whatever atacks might coming his way.
No, he wasn't going to be easily defeated for a second time.

"Use Scratch, and be prepared to redirect your attack, it looks like he is going to jump to try to avoid your attack!" She had never been so determined to win a fight in her entire life. They were provoking each other, and this could end up being a messy fight.

The attack would collide against him ...as blood would splatter the leaves ...making the ground seem to glow redder than it had been only moments before hand. His tail flicks from one side to another ...as his ears went down and the pain made him quiver.
Those claws had reopen his first wound, but he wasn't done this time ...not by a long shot as he gater the water in his mouth like had before ....as he puffs out before spewing out the gush of muddy water.
He wasn't going to lose, not to this trainer, never again. He wasn't going to be defeated, and he wasn't going to be captured either ....as his tail flicks against the earth as the water slushes forward quite eagerly.

Mia wasn't exactly sure how her Zangoose could avoid this attack. "Try to lift yourself with your arms, it might deal less damage to you," she knew it was a stretch and it might not work, but it was worth a try.

[10 -1 + 7 - 8 = 8dmg - 1 to speed]
Though the attack would catch him square in the chest as the water pushes him backwards and the Azurill lands on his tail as he does a quite hope skip with it. He had been defeated before, he had been badly wounded before, but this time ...this time it was his opponent whom was hurting as he smirks at him quite impishly.
His tail flicking from one side to another as he smiles quite boldly at the hurt pokemon.
The blue pokemon was ready to defend himself as that tail would swishes in a familiar position with it right in front of him for protection.

A frown formed on Mia's face. This wasn't how it was supposed to go. She could continue fighting and risk knocking out or killing Slash, or she could throw her last pokeball. She chose the latter. She opened up her satchel and picked up her last empty pokeball, threw it at the Azurill and crossed her fingers.

It was close as the Azurill's was focus on the Zangoose ....as he noticed the pokeball at the last moment and moved to avoid it as it smacked him on the forehead. The pokeball spinning and landing on the side of the ground as he sneer and vanished into a reddish light.
The pokeball absorbing him as it rocks once, hard, twice, harder, and the final third time ...it was hard enough to actually make the pokeball roll. But, the pokemon's wounds had gotten the better of him, the past ones that made him easier to capture and the one he had gained from Slash. If things had been different ....if he had perhaps waited a bit more ...the capture might not have been successful.

Mia wasn't entirely sure that he would let himself be caught, seeing how angry he was. But the pokeball rocked a third time and the button turned from white to red. Apparently, she had successfully captured an Azurill. An Azurill that would be angry with her. Great...
She walked over to the pokeball, and picked it up. "He is totally going to hate me... This is going to be a blast" She muttered to herself, words dripping in sarcasm. She had captured him fair and square though, so that should count for something.
"Come out, Azurill," a small blue ball appeared from the white light. She knelt down next to the Pokemon. "Come on... We'll make a great team, it won't be bad at all! I think I'll name you Hapi"

The pokemon only glared at her, and when she got too close he actually turned around so she was facing his back. He had lost again, once to the Zangoose and the second time to a pokeball ....as his tail waivers in the air in his anger.
He couldn't continue to lose like this forever, and as he looked at the human whom was now his trainer ....he realize something else. Dealing with her, he may never evolve now ....and that made the fires of hate in him grew hotter.
Why couldn't she simply let him finish his battle and leave?

Well, apparently she was right, her Azurill does hate her. Mia continued talking to the Azurill, even with his back turned to her. "You realize that you will never evolve if you keep being angry with me like this..." She knew she would probably hit a soft spot, but at this point, she didn't care. She knew that the way to the Azurill's heart was certainly not by being mean, but she couldn't help it.

A piercing glare would come her way ....an accusation. It was her fault ....not his ...that he was in this situation. He flick his tail at her, and then turned back to look at something else.
If she thought that Rome would fall in a day, she would be sadly mistaken ....as the pokemon made up his mind not to look at her ...no matter what.

She wasn't going to get anywhere with him, so she decided it would just be best to get one their way. She had forgotten that they had already reached the end of the red forest, so she had no idea where she was going.
"Well, unless you want to stay in your baby form forever, I suggest you follow me and make the best of it. I'll even let you walk out of your pokeball, if that makes you feel any better," she said, walking away.
