"Rech--" Amaya started to answer, before she got quiet as the steps ehoed through the forest.
"...No, nevermind. It's one of his pets."

Fuma was silent for a moment, before looking at Amaya.
"...'Pets'..?" he asked, the helmet tilting.
The footsteps seemed to be getting closer to the hiding ninja, than anything else.

"He likes to collect demons to dumb to have a mind of their own and boss them around. I call them pets because even dogs show more intelligence than some of his choices."

Yuki plucked the dart from Amaya's neck and inspected the tip of it. "You feeling ok?" he asked.
A small object was thrown at the demon's face. Upon impact it exploded in a very loud and bright flash of light.

The Demon gave an annoyed growl as the object exploded, before giving a roar in anger, actually causing the trees to shift back and fourth.
"....."
It then raised one arm into the air and plucked a massive weapon from its back.
The Demon then rose it up and slammed it down upon the ground, causing a tremor through the forest.

"I'm fine," Amaya growled, rubbing her neck after Yuki plucked the dart out. "Slightly dizzy, vision fuzzy. But I can stand just fine." She looked out towards to the forest, snorting lightly and smirking as the demon shook the forest in his ways.
"Either he's confused by a tree or he found my assassin."

The chained kama flew from the brush just to the right of where the weapon had landed, aimed to attach the creatures neck.
"Why would we do that?" Yuki asked. "Let the beast kill him..."

The Demon gave another growl as its hand latched onto the chain before yanking it with enough force to pull a tree out of the ground.
If the Assassin was still holding onto the chain, they'd be flung toward the Demon, whom was waiting to 'catch' him with his fist."No, no. I'm talking about helping the Demon." Fuma snickered.

"Best we leave the demon be." Amaya grunted, slowly leaning back on a tree.
"He doesn't like humans," she glanced at Yuki then her eyes flickered to Fuma, "and you're wearing human armor, and I'm a shura standing among humans. We're all immediate enemies in the eye of him."

The ninja drew his sword as he was pulled towards the demon. When the monster tried to punch him the ninja kicked at the demon's fist, which caused him to flip wildly towards the demon's head. He harnessed all this energy from the spinning and forward momentum and aimed to thrust his blade as deep into the demon's head as he could.

The sword went through the Demon's helmet. It remained still as the blade sunk through the steel.
It then suddenly grabbed the Assassin's arm and began to squeeze upon it, its growl becoming more and more feral as blood dripped from under the helmet.
"Good point.."

A similar growl came from the assassin as his arm was grabbed. He yanked out the blade with his free hand and stabbed at the demon's eyes.

"So, we better get close to the village. Just in case tat was his vacation stop.." Amaya groaned, trying to get off the tree but only accplomishing a face plant.

Fuma gave a sigh as Amaya fell, bending over and picking her up.
"Saaaaaaad.." he said as a roar went through the forest again, this time followed by the Assassin being shot faster than a shooting star through the woods in the Demon's rage, just overhead of the three.
