Every one has there issues, yours can easily be dealt with by one staying out of conversations that you know will offend people in the guild and cause them unneeded emotional distress. Or two when posting realize that your not in a collage debate and many MANY people are reading your posts. Gaia is a pg13 website after all. No reason for you to leave the guild, it seems like a hasty decision that isn't necessary.
@ Shira
They serve a purpose yes, but the world would be a better place without them so calling them necessary seems like the wrong choice of words.

iLadyShira-chan Personally, I think wars are a necessary part of this world. Along with natural disasters and what not. As tragic as they are, they're still necessary. Population control. Without war, we'd be overcrowded as hell right now.

But if people died at younger age like we are supposed to with out all the drugs and medicines that keep us alive longer than we were meant then we would have never became over populated.
The only purposes war has are the ones man has created for it. War is pointless and fruitless if people could learn to not be asses there wouldn't be place for war in the world. Someone always wants what someone else has I suppose, that's the only reason war is around in the first place.
Also more people are murdered in a year than killed by war.

Spiders are a necessary part of this world, but you don't see me jumping for joy about it. It's all a matter of personal opinion. Stop shooting people down for having them Havik.

@Hinote: I thought the insensitivity to natural disasters and loss was what upset some. I don't see how a discussion of why war is or isn't needed fits into that category. Though if is deemed that the small debate be stopped I don't see how I could do anything about it.

What answer did I get? 150 million - 1 billion. Just in WW2 millions of people were killed, Europe would be much more populated now if that hadn't happened, much more than the baby boom.

That is a fact, nothing can be said against it however the baby boom gave birth to millions of children world wide as well. I believe it was caused by the pure feeling of grief that would have been felt world wide due to the pure destruction of that war.
Also use as a race will always populate a area to it's fullest and then stop and birth rates will decline once a certain area is "full".As seen with Japan. When they were struck with the a bomb there population was devastate, and yet with as little time that has past Japan is one of the most fruitful and over crowded country's in the world. All a war does is set in motion a unneeded cycle of birth spurts.

Well, looks like I won't be able to take the auto-rank position for at least a minimum of one moth, for I have been reported, and received and ougun for the outrageous, and childish opinion I posted earlier.
Hopefully it'll still be there for me when I am cleared to make a second RPC again.
@Havik: On the topic of Japan, the reason they're so overcrowded is because of what little land they have. Plus, 70 years is enough for at least three generations, which is quite a lot of offspring.

Sucks about your 2nd Rpc.
Putting a country threw what that bomb put Japan threw was unnecessary if your looking at it from a population control stand point ( Which I want to add is not what I think of the event as). The population regrew and is higher now than it was then. This is a prime example of why controlling the population isn't a reason war is NEEDED it is simple people trying to rationalize pointless death. We as a race will always over populate areas to a breaking point war doesn't change or stop that.

Of course it doesn't stop it, but it slows it. It's like the world will eventually become spent of all of it's natural resources. We can't stop that, but we're sure as hell trying to slow it down by recycling, and making more efficient machines.
