Unwilling to let Jae just brush this off and not wanting the group to catch up before they could talk, Samuru's hand went down to her elbow. It wasn't a hard grip and he didn't pull on her or try to force her to look at him as he leaned in "Jae...you know what about." he said carefully. Not eating, not sleeping, not doing anything but pouting and grumbling over the Hokage's decision..."Don't....just, don't be like this. Don't shut me out." he let her elbow go, standing awkwardly as he worked between the sides he wanted to show Jae and the sides he wanted to hide from everyone "We're going to find him..." Samuru didn't have to say who. Both of them had promised to bring Yuusuke back..."...and we will. Even if we have to do it our own way after this..." he said quietly, moving his hands into his pockets. He looked at Raki for a moment, a feeling of hatred rising off him. But not directed at Raki......rather, it was directed at the village behind Raki. A village of people who, again, didn't seem to care about its citizens. Only about the safety of its own selfish desires I hate this place....for destroying happy things.

The quickness in which Jae reacted was far more amusing than he thought it was going to be. He'd yet to see someone with the blood rushed from their face simply for a question, and then among all else, it was a matter of listening. She'd turned away, despite the mess of hair, when she answered him. Someone has to do it. After which, he was relatively impressed that she maintained a level tone, before reassuming her posture and moved to face him. She answered with the ever cliched concept of sacrifice, nothing that he wasn't aware most of the village would parrot. The entirety of them lived in a little bubble, unaware of the nightmares that lurked even in their own alleyways.
"Sacrifice? Are you a martyr?" the young man inquired, making certain to let loose a minor sense of almost disinterested curiosity. It was his brother's appearance that slowed him down. He nodded carefully, to his brother, with naught but a murmur of his name. With the public eye on them, it was a matter of alienating himself from his brother. Surely, Jae wouldn't ever experience life that way either. Samuru was looking to speak to her, and it wasn't like Rakuin to be used as a puppet: One must have no purpose to be re-purposed to a role as that. She chided him, as if he had missed out on something. Instead, he'd had a wonderful rest in the springs. "There's no need. I'm just gonna run out, maybe swing by the city the Ketsueki elder was talking about. Says there's always work there." He blinked simply, lips curling up in a mild smile, despite his eyes telling otherwise.
Their discussion was interrupted as a dark haired woman in white appeared, with a massive hound on her side. Not just any hound though, a beast that could obviously be feral, after all. It was pretty entertaining, and he pondered on if Tetsu would get to be so large. The ram was well muscled at this point, and relatively large compared to his own breed. Clearly unable to speak much more aloud, should he be considering her status. The fun of watching Jae squirm was over now, he stepped in carefully, while Tetsu stood back, just close enough to the pink haired girl to whisper ever so gently. "Why must we be martyrs, when the system itself is what needs to be saved?" It was a basic observation. The people were oblivious to the atrocities that could be committed among them, not simply to the enemy, but to a friend or a neighbor. He turned away from the four at the gates, and spoke aloud. Who knew what else was said, after all? "One way or another, we'll be the ones to save it." No general focus, no body language to visibly give away. A generalized statement to be understood by those who knew all. "Now, I suppose I'll be on my way." A passing wave back to his brother, it was Tetsu who acknowledged him more so, the ram leaning up against the young man momentarily, before following after his master.

Looking at the ground as Samuru placed his hand at her elbow she almost broke down the wall that kept her emotions in check. Admittedly it was always weak, Jae's moods easily changing because of this weakness but she forced herself not to let herself slip. As Samuru offered his reassuring words she nodded slowly. She would have said something to him but Rakuin's retort caused her mind to momentarily go blank for a second. Gaze moving upwards slowly, in her shock, she met Rakuin's own taunting visage with her own surprised mug. The gears in her head slowly started back up and all at once a dark look settled as her dominate facial expression. Ketsueki elder my a**. Her clan was very picky on who was allowed into the grounds let alone who got to speak to the clan elder. There was no way he had any handlings with her clan but even if he had... Rakuin was baiting her.
In that instance Eclipse and her dog showed up. Jae blinked in quick succession and smirked, watching Rakuin intently. She had not been wrong about this guy. He played a dangerous game and he played it very, very well. It had been her mistake to let her guard down and because of that he was pouncing on her insecurities. "Don't talk about what you know nothing about... It's not a love fest." Jae snapped, looking to Eclipse now. She had to work with the fellow Jounin because of an order but it did not make it any easier to swallow. Jae was not going to be looked or talked down to. Just as she would respect Eclipse's role as the leader of this mission, Jae expected the woman to show her own professionalism in dealing with a fellow comrade. Already it was not a good start. She had the order now, move out once the other member showed up.
Rakuin stepped in close at that moment, Jae immediately looking to Samuru. Body tensing she coaxed an eyebrow at him just as Rakuin began to whisper his parting words to her. So that was his play. This was the bigger picture she had been trying to piece together when it came to the intentions behind what motivated the three siblings. It wasn't just vengeance, redemption or anything trivial like that. They were going for something bigger. It took her a few seconds to figure out what to say or how to respond. There wasn't anything she could say. Rakuin had won this round. "Be good Rakuin!" Jae shouted out to him as he departed, his ram following after him faithfully. Looking to Samuru Jae flashed him a small smile. It was one without real emotion to it. She was trying to keep pretenses up now. "What's taking Ilivice so long...?" She questioned aloud, crossing her arms behind her back and rocking back and forth on the front and back parts of her heel. She was limbering up, so to speak, before they headed out.

An Anbu showed up."Ivilice Takamatsu has been removed from the mission." He then went over to Eclipse and whispered the item they were going to secure and the location. But she wasn't to reveal it until they were near the target location.

Samuru gave no indication of seeing his brother's nod, his gaze firmly set elsewhere. To be seen talking to each other, if it got back to the clan elders, Raki would get in trouble. BUT. When Raki leaned in closer to Jae, he did look at his brother, his gaze going icy....he didn't know what was said....but it bothered him. When Tetsu leaned against him as his brother left, Samuru gave the ram a slight scratch on the head, tugging on a horn as the ram moved away. And now the other woman was here, Eclipse, and Samuru felt no amusement at her words. Hearing Jae snap, he just looked away without comment. He was doing a lot of that, holding his silence and avoiding eye contact...and it didn't feel good. He felt like he was a genin again, unable to speak for himself so when Jae gave him a smile with no emotions, one that was so fake it seemed plastered on "Don't pretend to smile. Its like lying without saying anything." he said harshly, his eyes darkening before he stepped away from her, turning his back to walk away. Coming to stop almost outside the gates, he took a deep breath and then went into a crouch, choosing to wait for either them all to leave or to go back. Was he pouting?....maybe. Samuru didn't care, really didn't, and if they could just....move on. Why did they always fight before a mission?! "Every single time...." he sighed. He and Jae always got in a fight before they went on a mission, like some kind of messed up good luck charm or something.

Ｅclipse smiled and laughed lightly at Jae's retort. She was only teasing."Have to lighten the mood somehow. You could cut this tension with a blade."Jeez, these kids are so snappy. Do they speak like this to their parents? All Eclipse could do was pray that Yukiko and Kisuke didn't end up like these two. . . Eclipse looked at the younger boy. Seeing him leave she raised an eyebrow. Was he with a ram? Shrugging her shoulders her attention shifted to their questions about Ilivice. What was taking the anbu so long?
As the ANBU arrived and announced Ilivice's discharge from the mission it didn't surprise Eclipse at all. If anything she expected it from her, or any one in her group. Why Noctis put them all together baffled her. When the anbu approached her and whispered into her ear of the item that they were retrieving she was slightly alarmed on the inside, but not allowing it to get past her eyes to the real world. Nodding she looked back at her now group of two."Okay, we are short one man, but that won't stop us. Let's head out to the Midnight forest first. And keep on full alert."Eclipse then departed, leading the way out to the forest for their first stop.

Jae's blue eyes assessed Eclipse for a moment before she looked away. Her comment about lightening the mood...If it's tense something said in jest by a stranger is not the way to go about that. Jae thought to herself. Perhaps Eclipse wasn't good with reading people. Who knew. Jae forgot about the ordeal entirely and watched as Samuru went to sulk in semi privacy after calling her out on her bullshit. Sighing, Jae rubbed the back of her head. This is dejavu! It wasn't healthy, the both of them going on missions together. Something always happened.
Eclipse announced their departure after the ANBU announced the loss of one other member to the group. Jae coaxed her head to one side. I'm glad im not the only one who thinks this is utter bullshit. Walking up behind Samuru, who was crouched on the ground, Jae leaned her knees into his back. "Sorry." She started, watching as Eclipse headed out before them. Backing up a bit she sighed. "This whole mission, Noctis's orders, it's irritating me. I didn't mean to take it out on you. I just needed some space to figure things out." She said, scratching the back of her head once more. She was bad at apologies but she recognized when to say them. Samuru had done absolutely nothing wrong but he had ended up on the receiving end of her anger and annoyance. "I'll make it up to you later, I promise." Was she bartering for his forgiveness? Why yes. Yes she was.

Eying Eclipse as she left, he felt like they were going on another hair brained mission of the Hokage's. Before he could rise though, he felt knees against his back and he stared ahead as Jae spoke, his chin in his hands "You think I enjoy this anymore then you? Taking orders from a....a crackpot with power." he growled, his feelings for Noctis showing through with full disdain "I don't care if you make it up to me...I just wish you'd trust me a little when it comes to things like this. We can't work on missions together if we don't talk to each other. And I'd like to be your partner in more then just....personal things." once her knees were off his back, he stood and faced her, not angry anymore but more sort of exasperated "Anyways....we can talk about this later, I guess. We should catch up with that Eclipse woman." he rubbed the back of his neck then leaned down and gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek "And I'm sorry for...for pouting." Samuru admitted grudgingly then turned and started through the gates. ((Exits))

Samuru's retort had Jae cringing slightly. She had been so wrapped up in herself she hadn't noticed that he was also suffering from this. I am such a brat... Cursing herself lightly she felt even more guilty, especially after being implicated of not trusting him. Jae trusted Samuru more than anyone else. He hadn't done anything that would cause her not to trust him. If she was making it seem that way she had a lot of changing to do. Nodding slowly, she smiled slightly as he pecked her on the cheek. Her heart fluttered slightly. It was such a warm feeling that she never got tired of. When they were that close to one another her anger seemed to disappear. Her anxiety quelled and her annoyance ceded. Why did I avoid him like some idiot... Yes. She would not run away from him anymore. "Aye aye." She chimed, following after him.

『 Masaru ran towards the gates and told all the villagers he saw to evacuate towards the Hokage Monument, and to be safe along the way, also to not stop to get anything for this was a level one emergency. As he neared the large towering doors, he would notice this weird mist that was red and black, and that it was slowly approaching the village, almost bordering the gates now. Running over to the guards he would tell them, "Quickly, close the gates and don't let anybody in or out, and send all Jounin to the Hokage's office immediately. They would give a nod and do as told while the young Uchiha ran off towards the next place." Arriving back at the gates, Samuru was almost instantly swamped by the evacuating citizens. Setting Jae down, he looked for an Anbu, fighting his way through the crowd to get to one "What's going on?!" he called over the crowds but was just directed to the Hokage's office. Throwing his hands up, he fought his way back to Jae "He's saying to go the Hokage's office. I don't know whats going on." he grabbed her hand and started walking through the crowd, making sure they didn't get separated.

Looking around through the mayhem, Jae was instantly searching for one single person. Her mother. Please be safe. As Samuru set her down, she dodged people who would bump into her sharply. "Wait what?" She repeated, being led by the hand toward the village, with the swarm of citizens. It was hard to hold onto him and she tried her best to do just that by tightening her grip.
『 Masaru would run through the streets, darting through alley ways, leaping across rooftops, racing towards the gates. He could see in the distance that there were several shinobi already at the scene and were trying to push the red and black fog back; probably the Fuuton users that the Hokage had ordered. However, it seemed as though they weren't getting the job done quite well. Running past a small squad of them, he would do a quick chain of seals before spewing a mist into the air that rose up into the the sky, heading towards the top of the gates where the red fog threatened to brim over the edges. As the combustible mist reached it's destination, Masaru would snap his fingers, and there would be a much rougher friction than should have been as it was charged with Katon chakra. There would be a quick spark from his fingers before a small little flame appeared in the combustible mist before there was a bright flash followed by a massive bang as it ignited, sending a shockwave of wind in all directions and creating a shitstorm of debris and dust. Raising his arm to his eyes to shield them from the blast, he would wait for the smoke cloud to dissipate to verify that the fog had been pushed back and away from the gates, even if only a little. "I hope that s**t doesn't reach back to the top.." Masaru would apply chakra to his legs before kicking off from the ground, rocketing himself towards the towering wall in front of him. Seeing that he was going to come up short, he planted his feet on the wall as he near and leaped up, flipping himself forward before landing on the top of the wall in a crouched position. Gazing down upon the land below, he could see the fog closing it once more. Seeing as it took it's time to make it's way over the gates, it would only make sense it would take longer if there was an obstacle higher than the gates. Performing the needed handseals, the Uchiha would place his palms against the wall and send his chakra down to the Earth below before there would be a rumble throughout the area. As the the other shinobi made their way up to join him, they would make it in time to see two massive slabs of rock rip themselves free from the ground and rise up before slamming together, making a wall that would tower over even the Kyuubi if it was side by side. So now, not only would the mist have to work it way up this new massive wall/barrier, but it would allow the Fuuton users to get even closer, yet stay at a safe distance from the fog. 』™ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂

✘Chikyuu no Sandoichi [ Earth's Sandwich, formerly known as 'Earth's Food' ] Rank: A Official Description: The user creates handsigns and then when they activate it, the ground literally opens and swallows the opponent with 2 very large slabs of earth. Once the handsigns are created it can be used anytime and is extremely unpredictable, making it hard to defend against. Guild Description: When the effect is given, the main force will be from the slabs slamming together. If held open past the initial A-ranked force, the jutsu will continue to push with a B-ranked amount until broken or closed. If the environment naturally has two nearly vertical surfaces, the chakra cost is only B-ranked.
