Amelia nodded, having forgotten nonverbal spells existed. Stepping back she said, "Have a go at it, I'm gonna relock that drawer I opened." That was a simple enough task, as it was locked in the muggle fashion. She returned to Olli's side, holding her breath. Hopefully this would work.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli aimed her wand at the same place Ammy had tried picking the lock. She closed her eyes for a moment, and focused all her energy on unlocking it, thinking in her mind, "Alohomora." She took a deep breath at the sound of a click, but when she tried to open the door it didn't budge. She sighed. "I guess we're doing it with a pin unless we wanna blow the whole thing up," she said. She decided to leave out the fact of how much that idea appealed to her.
[ Aah don't say that or they'll show up on the pretense of talking to Sing! ]

Amelia frowned, then smiled as a thought occurred to her, "I've never tried it, but to open a chest you can use Cistem Aperio, wanna try that one?" She wasn't sure she could break the lock without magic. It'd be nice, but somehow seemed unlikely.

To the amazement of both(?) of them, it worked! Amelia's hand quickly slipped in and grabbed the piece of paper inside. She could feel the magic inside of it, but when she looked down, "It's blank...." she shook her head, "This has got to be something interesting, let's go now." She shut the door, hearing it click back into place with a sigh of relief. She offered the paper to Olli as she went to pick up her broom.

OlliHufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli grinned and quickly took the paper from Ammy. "We can head to the grounds to investigate it," she explained, leaping out the window, paper in hand, and landing mid-air on her broom as she flew out across the lake.

Amelia followed just as quickly. Except when she jumped onto her broom, it decided to dive. Only for a moment did she panic, but remembering her teachings of an airplane, she pulled up easily. Spotting Olli heading towards the lake, Amelia followed her there.

[ Read my post in the grounds about this. There are PORTRAITS in this room, and my phoenix chills here sometimes, as well as plenty of charms, like the ones Umbridge had so people couldn't steal from her. I'm not stupid, girls. >) ]

Amelia knocked on the door quietly, but didn't want for a response. Through the door she called, "Headmistress Sing? Liviana, from Ravenclaw seems to have transported, we guess to the Magical Ministry?" Not knowing what it was, she mixed up the words, "She used the fireplace in the common room. Um...just we were worried about so..." She trailed off awkwardly, shuffling her feet in her slippers as she waited for a response.

Instead of sending a letter to the headmistress, she walked to the office this time. She stepped into the office, and took a seat by the desk. "I know that Amelia has been... well, not behaving in a good way, but I would like to award her ten house points. She had been doing phenominally in my class. Her paper on Colovaria was remarkable. So, I would like to award her 10 house points for her great work. 5 for the paper, and 5 for transforming a goblet and a feather to a different color." She hoped Sing understood, because she didn't want her to get mad at her for awarding Amelia house points.
