Arielle Shore
Arielle nodded to their waiter, a small pleasant smile on her face. She had to say that they had a good waiter that day. Hopefully either she or Kedrick would tip him nicely. She wasn’t even sure who was paying, but it didn’t matter to her at the moment. What did matter was about the food that she would soon be eating so her noisy stomach would stop being so embarrassing. She took a piece and took a bite into it, chewing it slowly so she could get the taste of it.
I’m so glad we picked this one, Arielle thought with a small smile. She tried to think of other good places where they could eat. When Kedrick suggested a Chinese restaurant, Arielle was about to agree when she remembered that there was a new Japanese Steakhouse that had just opened up. She couldn’t remember the name, but a lot of people were giving it good reviews. “Actually, I think I know of a better place then a Chinese restaurant, Kedrick. There’s this new Japanese restaurant that just opened up and I think it’s a little downtown, but I’ve been hearing good things about it. Maybe that would be a good place to eat? If you don’t like Japanese food, then that’s okay, but I thought it was a good idea.”
(Sorry about the wait @.@. I just started my summer Bio classes. But here's a post finally ^.^.)

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick's face lit up at the suggestion. "I remember hearing something about that place, Don't they have the Hibachi tables? you know...where the chef cooks the food in front of you?" He asked, taking another shrimp and rolling it thoughtfully around in his mouth. He swallowed, taking a sip of his coffee as he let his question hang. He thought with a slight smile at the way Dimitri's face might look at such a spectacle. Dimitri may seem cool, and slick, like he had it all together, but taking him to something new and it was like watching a child at Christmas. Kedrick remember having gone to a Japanese steak house with his family when he was very young. His clearest memory was when the chef had (purposefully) touched a lighter to to the skin of oil that cover the grill top and it had burst into flames three feet high. He could wait to see what Dimitri's reaction would be to that.

"Exactly! That's the one!" Arielle responded, looking happy that Kedrick knew what she was talking about. She was glad that he wasn't unaware of what she was talking about. "I'm sure everyone's going to enjoy going there for dinner. When do you think it would be a good day to make a reservation? Since it's new, I'm sure they get a lot of people."

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick pondered his question a moment. "We ought to set up a reservation soon....the Hibachi tables are really popular...." He mused, feeling silly for not having any actual dates or times to give her. He picked up one of the last shrimps that were left in the bottom of the basket, dipping it in the cocktail sauce and popping it into his mouth. "That was really good...." He said softly, looking down at the crumbs in the bottom of the basket. He looked up at her, Smiling. "ready to go then? It a good drive back home."
((Ugh....so short...>.<))

"I guess we should do that when we get home," Arielle added thoughtfully. She finished the last of her hot chocolate and wiped the small remains of whipped cream off her face with her napkin. That was probably one of the best hot chocolates the young girl ever had. If only she could have asked for a refill.
Looking up when Kedrick asked his question, Arielle nodded. Before she stood up, she looked around for their, confused on why he hadn't come back with their bill. "You think we have to pay at front, Kedrick?"

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick nodded his head quickly in agreement with her comment about setting up the reservation, then smiled as she whipped the whipped cream off of her face. "I wondered if you might be saving that for later." He said, reaching over to touch the corner of her mouth with his finger tip. "Come on, Let go up front, I'll handle the bill." The two of them walked up the the front desk where Kedrick quickly settled the matter of pay, making sure to include a nice tip for their waiter. "Right then." He said, holding the door open for her. "Let's hit the road."

"You mean the whipped cream?" Arielle asked with a small laugh, lightly blushing a bit, "It'd be hard to save without looking silly." She nodded and followed Kedrick to the front, fishing in her wallet and leaving a good five dollar tip on their table beforehand.
"Sounds like a plan," Arielle said with a quick nod, thanking him as she walked outside. "Thanks again for dinner, Kedrick. I enjoyed it very much."

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick smiled at her as he stepped into the driver's seat and buckled in. "I'm glad you liked it, and I hate to break it to you, but that was lunch." He said with a playful laugh, reaching over and gingerly tugging a lock of her hair. Seeing that the passenger's door was closed and she too was buckled, Kedrick put the keys in the ignition and started the car.
The drive back to the estate was comfortable and fairly quiet. Both where happy and full and the atmosphere was pleasant. At last the gravel of the driveway crunched under the wheels of the car and Kedrick parked in front of the door. "Home sweet Home." He said with a smile.

Arielle Shore
"It wasn't...dinner?" Arielle said, slowly, her cheeks warming in embarrassment. She smiled shyly and started messing with the piece of hair that Kedrick tugged on, "Well isn't that embarrassing." She laughed quietly as her cheeks grew a little hotter due to the embarrassment.
Arielle had somehow managed to fall asleep on the ride home, or as she liked to say "resting her eyeballs", which is denying the fact that she was sleeping in the car. When she heard Kedrick say "Home sweet Home", Arielle opened her eyes slowly and yawned lightly, rubbing her eyes with a small smile. "So good to be home too." She unfastened her seat belt and got out of the car, stretching. "I don't even know why I'm so tired," she muttered as she walked up to the door.

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick looked over at Arielle as they pulled into the drive way she was just beginning to stir and he smiled, gently touching her shoulder. "I can explain why that is." He said, pushing open the car door and stepping out. "You've had a good meal, it's a warm afternoon and we've had a long quiet car ride." Kedrick said, circling around to open the door for her. "C'mon, Let's head inside."
((Sorry for the long wait and the shortness...>.< I thought I had posted before but I was mistaken...))

Arielle Shore
Arielle considered Kedrick's explanation and only nodded in agreement. "The meal was good," Arielle said with a small grin, "I'd love to bring Maria with me next time. I'm sure she'll enjoy it." She did have to admit that it was a nice afternoon as well. Warm afternoon's like this should happen often, but that was just wishful thinking for her.
She nodded and walked inside, thanking Kedrick for opening the door.
(Don't worry about it~. Plus, my post is on the short side too = w =.)

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick smiled as he stepped inside, sighing softly. "That was a lot of fun, but now it's time to kick back and relax." He said with a small smile, He ran his finger's through his hair and pause, making a face. "And get a shower...." He said with an apologetic laugh. "I'm going to go upstairs and wash up quick okay?" He asked, turning towards her as she closed the door behind her. He felt a little silly showering in the middle of the day but he definitely needed it.

Arielle Shore
"Nothing like relaxing on a nice day," Arielle whispered, somewhat to herself, with a smile. She looked at Kedrick and nodded, closing the door. "Enjoy your shower. I'll just be in your grandfather's private study." She gave him a small wave, even though she was going to see him again. She hadn't been in that room since Kedrick had showed it to her. It would be a great place for her to kill some time while Kedrick took a shower.
Walking towards the room, Arielle's memories of everything ever since she moved in came back to her. As she opened the door to the study, she wondered what would have happened if she had never met Kedrick at all or been at that Pet Shop. She couldn't even imagine that as she walked over to the fantasy section of the study and pulled out a book. She sat down and opened it and began to read. With the peaceful quiet in the room, Arielle soon felt her eyes get heavy. She changed her position so that she was lying down and still reading the book. However, in just a few seconds, her heavy eyelids closed and she was soon asleep, her hair (which she had worn out that day), somewhat covered her face, and her fingers were in between the page she was on in the book.

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick smiled at her. "Okay, I see you when I'm done." He said disappearing up the stairs. Kedrick took his time undressing and finally stepped under the warm jet of water, feeling it slowly soak though his thick hair. He breathed a long sigh, the water feeling wonderful. Unbenounced to him Arielle had been asleep for about ten minutes now, when over the sound of the running water, Kedrick heard the doorbell. "Uhhhh...." He reached up, running his finger's though his hair, still frothing with soap. "Arielle!" He called, trying to be heard over the water. "Could you get the door? It's probably Dimitri!"

Arielle Shore
The quiet peace that had filled Kedrick's grandfather's study was soon interrupted when she managed to hear the doorbell ring. She groaned lightly, sitting up slowly and yawned. So much for the nap, Arielle thought with a small sigh as she neatly closed the book. She thought she had heard her name, then remembering that Kedrick had to take a shower. Time to see who's at the door.
She picked up the book, still wanting to read more of it before leaving the room. In just a matter of seconds, she was already at the door. She noticed that some of her hair looked out of place and fixed it. "Who is it?" Arielle asked, beginning to unlock the door.
