Rachel nodded. "I know.. But.. I still feel bad.. I don't like seeing others in pain, or upset.. Or.. Whatever you are feeling like right now.." Rachel said sweetly, softer this time. Brushing a strand of her chocolate brown hair from her face, she smiled softly to herself about something. Her deep brown eyes continuing to observe Laren, full of curiosity and a tinge of sadness. "Can I get you anything..?" she asked softly, fiddling with her fingers.

"Join me under here?" Laren joked softly as he sat up, the pillows falling around him. "Just kidding. You don't have to if you don't want to." His expression held that of a child albeit his eyes showed a rage that he was holding deep down.

Rachel smiled softly as he sat up, and made the comment. "I would, but I'm not sure if there is enough room, with all those pillows you have." she said softly, a light and soft giggle escaping her lips as she looked at him, she noticed the look in his eyes, and she could sense a sort of rage, but that didn't frighten her. Instead she continued to smile softly, watching his face carefully.

"There's plenty of room left on this bed for another person or two," Laren chuckled softly, scratching the back of his neck. "I get uncomfortable if there aren't a lot of pillows on the bed or three blankets..."

Rachel smiled softly and stood up, going over tithe other side and joining laren. "I do too, I like to build my own little fortress, makes me' feel safe." she said softly, before laying down and looking at him. "So, how do you think the date went?" she asked softly, trying not to be loud, knowing his head still hurt.

"I think it went quite well albeit the whole interruption thing was a killjoy," Laren murmured softly as he lay back down beside Rachel, the pillows magically readjusting themselves as he closed his eyes. "If I fall asleep on you, I'm sorry..."

Rachel smiled softly and nodded her head. "I agree.. And it's fine." she said softly, her deep brown eyes still watching him. He was very interesting to her, she wasn't sure why, he just was.

"Wasn't an issue," Mirror smiled lightly as he sat down himself.
Len sat across the table and smiled at the two only to frown as he galnced down at his plate of food. Laren was switching from a good dream to a nightmare.
"Okay then..." Laren murmured softly, gently grabbing ahold of her hand with his as he began to drift into a light sleep. His dreams weren't dreams, but rather memories of his mother gently singing to him and Len when they were younger as they were going to bed, holding their hands in hers. He smiled lightly in his sleep as the dreams remained calming. He hadn't had this dream since... That's when the dream changed into the recurring nightmare he and his twin usually had when they slept. Their father drinking until he was drunk stupid and then going into a rage. He jerked awake, sitting up in the bed panting heavily as he was covered in a cold sweat.

Rachel sat up too, she could tell he had a bad dream, and she didn't like that he was upset. "Laren.. It's okay.. Just a nightmare.." she said soothingly, not sure what else to do, she held his hand tighter. She had nightmares often, and she knew how she felt when she woke up from one. But she had seen him smile in his sleep.. So it must have started off good.

"It is," Mirror said softly as he took a big bite of his food.
"Thank you," Len murmured fixing to take a bite of his food only to run out of the room and into the bathroom.
"No... Not a nightmare... A memory..." Laren mumbled softly, laying back down with his free hand over his face. "The same memory that terrifies us about drinking alcohol so we try to keep ourselves at a limit on how much we intake..."

Rachel looked down at him, a frown tugging at her lips. "I'm sorry.. But I didn't like seeing you upset.. And.." she cut herself off and hugged him, not knowing what else to do. "Sorry.." she whispered softly.

"Sick perhaps?," Mirror offered taking another bite.
"It's not your fault..." Laren mumbled with a half-smile. "Of course Len's got a mental connection to me so that dream just made him upchuck..."
