Alpha - Straight Flush
User ImageEli's face flushed beat red and he expelled some air from his lungs so that he can hide most of his face, except for his eyes, in the water. He certainly wasn't expecting a kiss. Even if it was just for reassurance, it still threw him for a loop.

He tread water, listening to everything she said. So she had some kind of wolf mutation and increased cellular regeneration.

"Thank you." He said. "I've been carrying that story, and this is the first time I've been able to tell someone everything." He continued, obviously forgetting that he had told some people while he was hammered.

Alpha: Humored

Evie laughed at Eli's reaction to her. Splashing some water at him she joked, "Relax sweetheart. I won't devour you alive. I can't turn into a wolf anymore. The only bite I have is with these teeth."

She clicked her teeth and stuck out her tongue to lighten the mood. He seemed like a good guy just finding his place like the rest of them. In some ways, she felt like he might be one of the first people she takes under her wing as soon as things normalize with the teams. As much as Bella was "mama bird," Evie was as well but in a more subtle way.

"No matter what the story is," She floated on her back again, "I listen. I try to help when I can. My personality sits somewhere between Bella and Cissa."

She closed her eyes while on her back to let the pain pass from her body going through the massive healing cycle again. Oh this person will pay. Will pay dearly. Evie carried big swords.... and when she didn't, many other pointy objects.

"I wonder when these spiders will go away. I'm almost back to normal and I still don't want to get out of this pool."

Omega - Picked the wrong time to get on someone's bad side

Christian’s head was swimming badly. He couldn’t truly focus much on anything, aside from dancing in the sand to get the spiders out of his shorts. Even then, it was futile. Those little buggers were everywhere. He paid no mind to Sophia calling over to Dimitri, rather he paid more attention to her demeanor. She didn’t seem to be right and when she looked at him, he could tell that the girl needed some sort of help.

“Whoawhoawhoa, Ms. Attitude!,” Christian said to Raine when she snapped at him, stopping whatever steps forwards he was taking. “What would you rather me call ya? Lightning bug? Sparkler?” Whatever expression he had on his face soured when she yelled at him. His feelings weren’t hurt, but he could feel his anger starting to rise slightly.

Naturally, he stepped away from Raine when she began to discharge her abilities. Yea, he could absorb the electricity but it didn’t mean it didn’t hurt a whole helluva lot. After she slayed the arachnids, Christian shook his head briefly in an effort to regain his composure. It wasn’t working at all.

The new guy, Dimitri showed up at the mini-party on the porch and instantly said something that immediately got under Christian’s skin. It wasn’t the fact of what he said, he wouldn’t have cared if the guy said that to anyone else honestly. It was the fact that Dimitri seemed to be questioning the integrity of his friends. And that didn’t sit well with the good ol’ country boy at all.

With his anger starting to get the better of him, it was pumping adrenaline into his veins moreso than dancing around to avoid the spiders. And it was giving him a clearer head.
He looked at everyone, save Dimitri and took stock of the situation. Billy had moved to assist Sophia and that was fine by his measure. Yea, he may have been sick himself, but he would have carried the lass around without question. Raine was also looking a bit green around the gills, joining the Mr. Yuck club it seemed as he watched her move her hand in front of her mouth after killing a few more spiders.

The look he shot at Billy wasn’t one of jealousy as one may expect, but one rather of concern. One that told the newer Omega to get Sophia clear of the situation. Christian wasn’t a doctor, but he had seen that kinda thing before when he played ball. Heck, he had caused more than his fair share considering what position he played.

His eyes finally shot towards Dimitri’s direction, the rare death glare that he held within at the forefront. Christian was finally outright pissed… and people were gonna know about it.

“Listen here, guy,” Christian said to Dimitri, rage teeming in his voice, “Don’t know where you came from or what the Hell your angle is… but from where I come from, you don’t talk to a lady like that.” As he spoke, he strode right up to the guy, noticing he stood at the same exact height as he did. Things could definitely get interesting. “’Specially not my friends.” While standing within a couple steps of him, Christian looked him dead in the eye. “And if I hear ya talkin’ to 'em like that again… I’ll put a Goddamned bullet in that pathetic thing you call a brainstem.”

While he stood there, face to face with Dimitri, Christian heard Billy exclaim that the spiders were gone and at how badly they whupped the snot out of the damned arachnids. That was all well and good, but Christian was not going to take his eyes off the guy. Last thing he needed was to look away and get sucker-punched.

Alpha: Front Yard - No More Spiders!User Image

Isabella made a face at Gideon when he reminded her that he was too heavy for her to lift—It was done so over Bianca’s shoulder. She was then suddenly assaulted by a feeling of… Disappointment. It came from the back of her mind, like an afterthought…After a few moments of listening to the feeling that passed through her, she knew, that it was Gideon… He felt left out. “Oh B…”, she purred lightly, her voice teasing as she held the dark haired girl from the jumping spiders, dodging and weaving as necessary.

She saw people on the porch...But they paid her no mind, so she paid them no mind.

“We’ve made him sad… He wants to join us.”, her gaze was teasing, taunting as she looked over Bianca’s shoulder still—Her cheek resting easily against her. She was so warm, and smelled so good… She couldn’t imagine anything ever smelling so good.

And then the thought occurred to her and she pulled back from Bianca slightly, gaze questioning… “He called me beautiful? Am I?”, she blinked, suddenly feeling shy, something that Isabella Stone never was. She hid her face from him a moment, never once questioning why she could feel him—Hear him, as if he were a part of her. It simply was. It was comfortable…Natural… Laughter suddenly welled inside of her at the thought of battling a dragon.

And it went without saying, that she was—Beyond pleased, that this white haired boy thought her lovely. That he wanted to be with her and Bianca“He is right…At least the dragons don’t try to steal my happy…They just want to be left alone.”, she gave Bianca a gentle squeeze, and a light smile… And then the smile fell as she heard Gideon call for someone she didn’t particularly like.

“Whyyyy would you call Narcissa?”, Isabella whined, her tone carrying the slight ringing of bells afterward at her irritation. “She’ll… She’ll kill us. She’ll light us all on fire…Catalina will be a big lake if she goes off… Whhhhyyy would you WANT her to start a fire?”

She pouted after the fact—Upset, because Gideon didn’t ask for her help, he asked for Narcissa’s. She felt his thoughts, unguarded and clear—His unhesitance at wishing for a power that would allow him to borrow the powers of others, and she glared lightly… “You would hate having that power and you know it.”

Parts of the conversation may be odd for Bianca… Considering Gideon hadn’t mentioned Lillian out loud.

Running her fingers through Bianca’s loose hair, she blinked… And suddenly the spiders were gone. All traces of then, simply gone. Isabella slowly settled herself back down to the ground with Bianca—Looking around cautiously… When no more came out of the wood words, she smiled triumphantly at Gideon, letting out a happy laugh-- Through an intense jealousy.

“See, mi rey—You don’t need her, cancel that forest fire!”

Alpha - Clarity? Nah.
User ImageCissa. That was the girl that Eli got bad vibes from. He didn't like her at all. He could tell, there'd soon be a prank spree on her. He'd make sure of it.

"What do you mean they're gonna get it. What's wrong?" Eli asked. Now that the effect of Bella's words wore off, the conflict between KILLJOY and her will wore off, keeping him on the KILLJOY high. "OH, Oh, I think I can use my powers now." It had been a while since his incident. Closing his eyes, his tread slowed and he sunk a bit in the water, his mouth still above the surface of the water. An EM field began forming around them. If anyone was listening to a radio or communicating via mobile/hand held devices, they'd hear static or pick up lots of interference.

Eli pressed his eyes harder, it was kind of hard to use his powers still, but he managed. He felt for the disturbances in the field, what was moving and what wasn't. "There are only people. I'm not feeling any disturbances." He said, opening his eyes. The EM field dispelling.

Alpha: Spiders go bye bye? Sounds like it is time to go swimming then!

Bianca gazed over Bella's shoulder watching the spiders with a content look considering they were off the ground and out of their reach. Well a few of them could jump but the man on the ground was taking care of them so Bianca felt no reason to even feel threatened. Even in the middle of the current crisis the beach looked downright beautiful as did the ocean. That was one of the things she missed from Miami. Oh well she would get used to it eventually. It was funny how quickly she had gotten calm about even being off the ground which caused a slight giggle to erupt from her lips. Hearing Bella address her Bianca perked up instantly getting chills just from hearing Bella speak.
"Yes Bells darling?" Waiting patiently the words that came from Bella next brought an unseen frown to Bianca's lips. He wanted to join them?

Giving it some thought Bianca was unsure exactly if she wanted to share the woman with anyone or simply keep her all for herself. Not to mention Bianca was still quite unsure of this Gideon for the moment considering he looked so mean on the porch. Bianca wanted to let out a whine at the possibility of having to share though instead she let out a small sigh.
"If that is what you want." As long as the man didn't try to do anything out of the way with her then it was fine. As of now the only person that was allowed to be this close to her was Bella. Bella pulling back to look at her questioning caused Bianca to smile in a slightly giddy way. The question posed was something that should have been common knowledge. Everyone in the world should know the answer to the question as it should be required to even graduate from high school. "Of course you are darling. You are the most beautiful person I have ever laid eyes on."

Bianca leaned in close afterwards and gave Bella an affectionate peck on the cheek taking in the intoxicating scent while she was close. Hearing Gideon Bianca peered behind her shoulder innocently giving a slight shrug in response. Bella threw in her own comments regarding the statement and Bianca smiled sweetly speaking in honey tones. "Se dite così il mio amore. Whoops sorry kind of slipped up there." Letting out a small girlish giggle at her slip up in Italian Bianca smiled and fluttered her eyelashes a little. "I meant to say, if you say so my love. Sorry again." Returning the squeeze that Bella had given her Bianca went back to gazing out over the serene ocean imagining how good it would feel to go for a swim. Then Bella whined about another girl named Narcissa and instantly jealousy grabbed hold of Bianca. That was until the rest of the sentence was heard causing Bianca to giggle again and brush a loose strand of hair behind her ear with her pointer finger.

"Don't worry I already told you I would protect you il mio amore. If she tries to burn you I will simply punish her. So please cheer up. Your beautiful face should never hold anything other than a smile." Giving Bella a warm smile Bianca held a slightly confused look for a second though decided to let Bella's words go since they weren't to her anyway. She hadn't noticed her brief slip back into Italian but let it go. She had yet to notice the spiders disappear as hands ran through her hair. Then quite suddenly Bianca noticed they seemed to have stopped coming altogether wondering if maybe she was just seeing things until she was slowly brought back to the ground. Odd there didn't even seem to be any remains or guts or anything of the sort on the ground. Shrugging at the thought Bianca looked back towards the water. "In celebration of our victory shall we go for a little swim my love? You are welcome to come as well handsome." The last sentence was directed at Gideon, Bianca figured it was the least she could do considering he had saved them.

Omega-We win. User Image
Men could be afraid of spiders, it was a perfectly naturally thing to be afraid of. They had eight legs and were insanely fast. They spun webs that were impossible to remove from ones person that were all strong enough to catch birds for them to eat. BIRDS. Oh yeah and then there were the fangs that injected venom into a target. Sure there were spiders that were not venomous, but they were far and few in between. One of the many lessons that he was taught growing up was to avoid spiders, especially the big ones. He knew people who died from spider bites, and the ones who lived did not fare that well.

Antonio stared at the spiders everywhere, the world around him shutting out. What if they could jump, he knew that there were varieties of spiders that caught their prey by jumping on them. Maybe if he mad a gravity well below them, but he needed to focus him power on the people around him in case they were looking for an escape. What if there were flying spiders? Hell they lived in a world populated by mutants, stranger things have happened. But still it would suck, flying deadly arachnids. Even Antonio, master of gravity, would have trouble winning that battle.

His fears were pushed to the side at the same time his body was. He was not aware that Shandra was near him, there was hope that she would follow him out the window, but his focus was more on his impending doom. He started to descend rapidly towards that ground, a force he corrected almost instantly. The adrenaline was pumping so loud in his ears that he almost did not hear the gunshot. What was that all about? Hopefully it was someone killing all of the spiders, though for that he would recommend Cissa do one of those big firewall things that killed all those trolls. That was pretty epic, a smile crossed his face just thinking about it.

But as safe as he felt, as awesome as it was to have the woman of his dreams clinging to him while they hovered in midair like they were the stars of some awesome sci-fi movie, he needed to help get rid of the invading pests. Kill them before they killed him. Using THE POWER OF GRAVITY.

He focused his mind and created a well of antigravity with him and Shandra in the center. It was not powerful, but it would serve it's purpose. Quickly he altered gravity to return the pair to the ground. The spiders rushed towards him, but found themselves repulsed by the Anti-gravity. They could try to push forward, but all attempts would be futile. "Now we just need to find a way to kill them, where is cissa when you need her?" She had been in the kitchen fighting of the horde. What if they had already lost her, what if she had become part of the horde. WHAT IF THERE WERE ZOMBIE SPIDERS? The world would end.

No time was given to reflect on the possibility, for as soon as they disappeared, the spiders were gone. They just vanished as if they had never been there. There were not an illusion, he was sure of that. So what had been causing all of this. Oh well, that was not his job. "And humanity prevails over the zombie horde once again." He cried with a smile. He looked at Shandra. He opened his mouth to talk but paused. Actions spoke louder than words in the end. With a shrug he leaned over to kiss her.

Alpha:Spiders are gone! Now time to hit the surf.

User ImageThe spiders had been relentless in their assault on the vacation property of Xavier's. He heard Bella question calling her beautiful. And Bianca was quick in response to reassure his beautiful that she was indeed gorgeous. Thanks to having the ultra bug swatter keeping spiders at bay was a simple matter. It was easier thing to take care of since Bella and Bianca were in the air limiting anything getting at them. But as for the doubt in her beauty when the spiders were taken care of he would show her. Well in a sense he would prove his thoughts on her and show Bianca where he stood in Bella's life.

Gideon had continued swatting the spiders with the tree. making sure to block as many jumpers as he could. He heard Bella pout about Narcissa. His eyes rolled at her comment about killing them all and the island being a lake if Cissa went off. But he understood where she was coming from Bella truly did not like the girl. "Only would hate not being able to touch you." He said honestly it would be truly the only thing he wouldn't like about the power.

Then it happened as quickly as the spiders appeared they vanished. No trace left no carcass no scents nothing. That really didn't bode well at all. Though at the time he really didn't care or think to much on it. Listening to the girls as they talked now back on the ground since the horde was gone. He ignored her ever continuing pout about Cissa. He wasn't even bothered with signaling Cissa there was no need for the fire. He was sure she understood that since the bugs were gone. And if she didn't hey they will have a nice bonfire. Then Bianca piped up about going swimming and added that he could join them.

Tossing the tree he had in hand like a javelin out into the tree line with ease. The resulting crash told him that most likely it took another tree down when it hit. Not that it mattered to him trees fell in the woods all the time. Only one here that probably would be upset at it was the plant user Sophie. Again was little consequence to him. Now that things were now spider free he moved over to Bella and Bianca. In one move he leaned into Bella and planted a kiss on her lips. Not bothered by Bianca being right there. Breaking the kiss he looked at them both. "Well ladies I think a swim sounds great. Wouldn't pass up the chance to accompany you both."

Alpha: Porch - If No One Hears a Tree Fall in a forest-- I Still Feel it. User Image

She was tired… Being pulled in a million places at once—Literally. So it was with a slightly confused expression that she looked at Dimitri, not really understanding what it was that he was saying right away… That is, until he…Made his pectoral muscles actually bounce—And then to make matters worse, to insinuate that she would be stripping down anywhere in his vicinity made her angry. She glared hard, and she wanted to slap him.

But then suddenly she blushed hard—As if remembering to be embarrassed, though all she wanted to do—Was slap him in the face. Hard enough to feel his teeth crack together.

But seeing as to how the pole was really all that kept her standing… She remained still, and simply closed her eyes again, looking away. Disgust rolled in the pit of her stomach with the feeling of wanting to retaliate… She wasn’t sure exactly, when it was, that she was tempted to use her plants in a way she never would—To remove him from her presence.

Forcibly if necessary.

Perhaps she should have let him deal with the spiders—And god knows what else inside.

She couldn’t even justify it with a response… He barely knew her, just as she barely knew him. She’d seen him in passing once or twice… But that wasn’t enough for her to spare him any kind thought.

Suddenly Billy was at her side, kind and far less—Offensive to her than Dimitri was. Granted, he had seemed to piss off Raine somehow… Though she didn’t quite understand that fully. Things were… Hazy, from enjoying waffles to how she now stood… All she wanted to do was sleep, sleep—And have more of Raine’s waffles. Leaning gently against Billy’s side, her arms loosened from around the porch column—The vine that was slowly wrapping around her letting her go, for the most part.

Billy didn’t make her nervous—Dimitri did.

“Maybe ah should m’sieu…But ah don’t think ah can…”, she responded, her creole accent thick as her dark head rest softly against him. He complimented her, and while it didn’t help her blush any, he certainly wouldn’t be able to see it—As it couldn’t get any worse than it already was. It upset her, that her anger was suddenly hot wired to her tear ducts.

So deeply entrenched in the surrounding flora and fauna, she didn’t realize at first that Christian was speaking out on their behalf… After a moment she couldn’t help but snort softly, the derisive sound unlike Sophia… Christian…Dolce, kick his derrière.”

And then, she heard that the spiders were gone. She waited—Still on alert… Though the plants she had strengthened and touched grew silent, freezing in place. She was deeply connected to them as she rarely let herself become… No matter how much she felt at peace, there were always consequences. Emma had warned her, never to do it—Never to let them in, as they let her in. It kept her from the pain, from feeling both sides of the spectrum for the greenery around her… She hadn’t done it intentionally in years… Not even in Limbo. But she didn’t have such restraint now… Perhaps one day she could learn how to do so without backlash… But not now, not when her control was so… Displaced.

It was then, in the brief silence of the spiders departing—That she heard a loud crash, and a crack—That something struck her. Her eyes flew open wide, and her body actually stiffening in Billy’s grasp. Her hand flew over her chest, only to feel her heart thudding wildly as she felt the phantom sensation of slamming into the ground—Though she never fell.. She just sank slowly, all of her weight now on Billy.

It felt like something had sliced deeply into her chest… Like it pushed through to the other side.

Her eyes fell on the tree far to the left someone had thrown a spear, made of another trees branches into so hard that it literally uprooted it. She groaned softly, unable to find air as she waited for the feeling to pass… It would pass, it would pass. Slowly she pulled herself and the energy from the fallen tree and her breathing evened… It grew tolerable after a moment, a lingering headache.

“Je suis désolée…”, she apologized… Drawing slowly from the rest of the plants in the area. They returned to their former states with difficulty. The didn’t want to give up the energy they had taken—And she didn’t have the strength of mind she usually did to take it back. But they cared for her… And easily enough surrendered it to her since the danger seemed over. She grew slightly stronger as time passed... “Ah’m fine… The tree...Falling, like that...It just surprised me, is all.”

Now, she remembered the mistake she made with her powers. She had let them in... She had to distance herself. Else she would cry every time someone went all George Washington on a Cherry Tree... And that just wasn't normal.

She shouldn't do that.

Dimitri didn't get a response from Raine yet but from Sophia it seemed like she was interested, with her blushing as evidence. The glare she gave him however ended up being some sort of mixed reaction. In one corner, from what Dimitri saw Sophia seemed a little interested in his offer, and in another corner it looked like she wanted to smack some sense into him.

Either way it looked like Dimitri's plans were not going to come into effect with the energy that Sophia spended taking out spiders big enough to eat a small child or kitty. One of her friends then came towards the scene and picked up her just in case her body didn't feel like holding together.

"Hey Hey Hey! I saw eyes on her first man! I'll fight for her if i have to!" Dimitri cried.

At this point, it was obvious that the drugs had kicked in Dimitri's system. Fighting for women's attention as well as attempting to cuddle together with women he barely knew little clothing was not exactly up his alley. Well maybe not the cuddling part.

But more important things had to be taken care of, such as the spiders. The guy that held Sophia in his arms suggested that they get together and get the hell of of this island. Dimitri, without the drugs would have gave him a "How about no" look followed by the actual phrase. But this wasn't the playboy everyone loved and hated. He wasn't a fan of the spiders either and did not want to become their main dish.

"We're done man we're finished!" Dimitri said in a panicked tone, only making the situation much worse.

Suddenly, the enormous venom filled spiders just vanished; every single one of them. It would have been much better if this was just a problem that the exterminator can take of with a few hours of work and some cash. At least then the problem would have been over for good. But for them to just disappear, leaving no trace means that a mutant had to be behind this, or something else. This couldn't be some trick pulled off by the headmasters; send the mutants on vacation, ambush them with spiders, and poison the atmosphere. Their attempt as taking their training outside the Academy

But if it was, it was a darn good trick.

"I vote for good a**-kicking!" he cheered, jumping and punching the air in a shoyuken style without the spin.

It looked like their problems were gone and Dimitri could go back to being weird along with the other X-men but not before he was approached by another man who didn’t like the way he was treating the girls and if he kept it up, he’ll be put to rest with a bullet in his brain. These types of people were up on Dimitri’s list of annoying people; guys who got in the way of Dimitri’s attempt to woo women because they like the girl but would never get a chance to hook up. Sophia didn’t agree with the killing part but told the guy to kick dimitri’s butt, or what she called derrière.

“ Well where I come from I say Well where I come from we don’t talk to ladies like that cause we don’t have any ladies I say we don’t have any ladies where I come from.” Dimitri replied in a rugged voice while marching around in a circle mocking the man.

“You want to kick my derriere?” Dimitri asked right before turning around, looking at him and bending over, sticking and shaking his butt left and right towards the country boy in a goofy fashion.

If he didn’t kick his butt literally for the 3-4 seconds Dimitri was doing this, then Dimitri stood back up, turned around and pointed an old school gun image out of his left hand; with the index, middle finger and thumb.

“How about I put one in yours?" Dimitri asked him. A cheap attempt to scare the man who didn't know if Dimitri wanted to showcase his talents through an index and middle finger.

"…….BANG BANG BANG!” Dimitri shouted as he bent his thumb three times to imitate bullets flying off before bursting into laughter.

"Come Onnnn relax guy!"

In the air…for more than a moment, then off to the kitchen

User Image

“Or Forellen,” Shandra said in agreement to Antonio’s question about Narcissa.

Even spiders had to get sick and have their own special spider sicknesses…yes, a little abstract but who ever said she thought in the same pattern as the average person? If anyone claimed that they might need their measurers checked because she barely thought anything of being in the center of an antigravity. Actually, it made her laugh a little. Her powers never made her hair stand up but with his, her hair when she moved was almost as though she were underneath water.

And she found herself humming the little mermaid for a moment. That was, until Antonio spurted off about them winning against a zombie hoard after they were lowered to the ground. Shandra tilted her head to the side staring at him – Zombies? Where did the zombies come into play? Apparently she wasn’t the only one with abstract thoughts…

She wanted to go into the air again, that was much more ---

The redhead stilled, lightly, at the sudden movement but relaxed. There was no pain, nothing to be afraid of; except they were out in the open as his lips pressed down onto hers. Still…he was warm…and why couldn’t she kiss someone out in public? She was sure there had been a reason at some point but right now she felt herself telling it to back off and just let her be.

And there was something she was supposed to be doing, but again…to the back of her mind it went as her hands went up to thread through his hair, gripping on as though to balance herself even if she didn’t really need to. She stepped in closer, reveling in the warmth and contrast. It didn’t feel safe, like it would be fleeting and the sensation would move on the next whim, but it was here for now.

Hmm…wasn’t she supposed to breathe at some point?

Shandra drew back, the feeling of the kiss not leaving immediately, like it was still there. Still happening. At least for a few nanoseconds. She pressed her cheek to his for a moment as her hands slowly slipped out of his hair, not to tangle or yank more than she might have already had. She brought one of her hands up to her cheeks and nearly laughed, well…she wasn’t going to have to worry about being too cold despite only in being in a layer of outer clothing outside. At least it was a comfortable heat, and that idea lift her mind despite…oh, that’s what she was supposed to have done! Narcissa told her that she had to make him happy by rubbing his belly! Or was it make him happy by making him throw up?

Just because she didn’t want a stinky mess everywhere, Shandra was hoping that it was the first one. Slipping down from his shoulder, Shandra pulled back away from where she was partially relaxing against him to stand on her own. A near playful smile lit her lips as she bent over a little, rubbing her hand in circles over his abdomen as though rubbing a genie bottle and waiting for the genie to pop out and grant her three wishes.

Cissa told me to come out and make you happier by rubbing your tummy. Happier yet?” Oh yes, there was definitely a screw or two loose with her mouth to her brain’s stop button. So many screws, in fact, that the mouth sent the signal to the brain and not the other way around anymore.

Shandra stood back up fully, the smile not leaving her lips as she grabbed his hands and pulled him back into the house. She might have worried about the fact that the spiders had instantly disappeared, and that the bit on her foot wasn’t actually there anymore, but…well, she could seem to think of the same thing for more than two minutes anyways. Plus there were nicer, more fun things to fill her mind.

As she slipped herself and Antonio back into the kitchen, Shandra had to stop with wide, curious eyes as she watched Peta shift back from being tiny to his normal size. It was actually kind of funny to watch, instant movie effects. She looked around curiously at the new people she hadn’t met before in the room – a boy (Dominique) a girl (Blair) who had a gun but had previously been assaulted by one of Narcissa’s bursts of power.

Shandra stopped, her eyes narrowing down on the metal. She hated guns…and her hand slipped out of Antonio’s without really thinking about it and reached up to her shoulder in memory of exactly what a bullet felt like. Hmm…Narcissa was warm. And currently, Shandra felt like a good cat seeking warmth. Familiar warmth of course…and Narcissa’s warmth she was very much used to. Except that it was a little too warm because the immediate area was in no way safe. A few steps away she was good…felt like she was experiencing a real Californian summer actually. But…Cissa being all bright and glowing was hurting her eyes until they darkened, much in the same kind of manner that transcription lenses did if she’d ever stopped long enough to think about that effect. After all, it wasn’t just the white area that darkened though that did show the most relatively.

Slowly she moved towards Narcissa. As much as she’d normally stay away, she’d rather that their leader wasn’t going to suffocate them by eating up all the oxygen in the world. Shandra wasn’t sure if that was actually possible…but if anyone could find a way it definitely be the Omega leaderess. She got close enough to the point that it was feeling like she was going to boil herself alive, her eyes completely black so that the light wasn’t actually burning the retina.

Cissa, Cissa…can…you stop?” Shandra asked, trying to reach out her hand a little in just a universal sign. What kind of sign? She honestly had no idea, it just felt right.

Although, she had no delusions about staying there until Narcissa calmed down. None at all. If she didn’t, and it just got worse…well, Shandra was ready to dive out and push. She was not going to be a sacrifice, nor was she going to trust a superficial bond that happened simply because they had been around each other for years. Nope, she was definitely not sacrifice mentality. Honestly, she was doing this because she wanted Narcissa to power down enough so she can pull Peta, Antonio, Maddy (who had come into the room almost right after Narcissa shot off her first blast) and Jacen around her to just kind of snuggle the warmth. Like a nearby fire that they were all relaxing around. Narcissa in the middle of course, being her own personal heating body. She had a feeling that direct heat would feel like heaven right now…

Oh, now she really wanted marshmellows…A pout spread across her face when she remembered that she couldn’t even have marshmellows roasted against a Narcissa.

Alphas: No touchy

Hoshi had fun pouncing on the spiders, eating some of the ones she didn't smush completly. She hissed deeply as Christian grabbed her and took her outside, sticking her in a car. She spit and hissed, scratching at him but missed.

minutes later she heard the gunfire and scuttled under the seat, shaking. she didn't like guns. spiders entered the car and Hoshi got stuck trying to wriggle out from under the seat to attack them. one of the bigger spiders crawled onto her head and she lunged upwards to squish it-just as the spider dissapeared. Hoshi saw stars and giggled about the considence of seeing the litteral meaning of her name as blackness desended over her.

Alpha - Catalina - You know, I might prefer the spiders.

Raine's expression hardened as she heard Dimitri call her a "heavenly blessed beauty," insinuating that he would like to spend some "quality" time with both herself and Sophia. Her head tilted to the side ever so slightly as her hazel eyes bore into him, stern expression not the slightest bit amused as she felt more spiders start advancing up her pants leg. Even if she were the kind of girl that would do something like that, and she wasn't, there was no way in hell a guy this full of himself would be able to handle the two girls at once. It had to all be an act. Still, the preoccupation with more pricks of fangs on her legs prevented her from voicing a snarky comment, though numerous options came to mind.

In response to the pain, Raine let out a scream, mixed with frustration and disgust as she released another burst of electricity from herself, hoping that she didn't shock anyone standing too close to her in the process. Billy stepped forwards to help Sophia, who was leaning against a pillar like it was a third leg. He seemed to be in line with her idea of going home - getting away from Arachnid Isle while they still had people to take home. Dimitri had a momentary freak out about the spiders, yelling out their impending doom. Raine rolled her eyes, rounding on him.

"Oh, grow a pair," she growled towards him, Christian had apparently not taken kindly to Dimitri's comments either, something she was glad someone else was pissed about. The mere mental image of him putting a bullet through his head was enough to make her smile a bit. Sure, it was a morbid thought, but she didn't appreciate being ocularly undressed by a guy she barely knew. Not to mention, he seemed kind of like a baby behind all those muscles…

Her head was starting to feel faint as the spider venom coursed through her bangs, the brunette stumbling slightly as she tried to make her way closer to her friends. However, as quickly as the spiders seemed to appear, they simply vanished. The pain in her leg started to subside, though a tingling sensation lingered that was less than comfortable. She looked around with a slightly confused expression, running her hand back through her messed curls in an attempt to get them out of her face. What…just happened? As she looked around, she saw the situation tensing between Christian and Dimitri, the brunette questioning whether she should get involved or not. Eventually, she decided that it would be best to step in, if only to keep her friend from getting into trouble.

Stepping forwards, Raine laid a gentle had on Christian's shoulder, only to hear Sophia also express her desires to harm the new guy for his comments towards them. She opened her mouth to try and diffuse the situation, only to see Dimitri literally shake his a** at Christian. Her eyes narrowed, especially as he pointed a finger gun at her friend and imitated shooting him. Raine drew her own "hand-gun", leveling it at Dimitri with a devilish smirk. A spark glittered dangerously at the tip of her pointer finger. It was much weaker than it normally might have been, but was surely threatening enough.

"You know what? I've already had just about enough of you. Threaten him again and you'll fry, got it?" Nothing in her face wavered as she looked at him, seeming to wait for an apology. Nothing in her face moved, that is, until she say Sophie's body go rigid out of the corner of her eye. Concern instantly took over her features, the brunette closing the distance between herself and Billy, who was holding the slumped over Sophia. She heard her roomie's name leave her lips, not sure if she should try to do something or not. There were moments, moments that seemed to take forever, where she wasn't sure what was going on with her friend, though as time passed, she seemed to recover.

"Sophie, what can I do," she asked, reaching out and smoothing a piece of her hair as she explained that it was just the tree falling that hurt her. She had forgotten about the effect that the girl's power could have on her.

"Billy, will you take her back up to the room so she can get some rest? Sophia, I'll be up in a minute with some aspirin and tea, ok? Christian, can you go with her?" It wasn't that she didn't trust Billy - there might have been something that he did that made her mad, but she couldn't think of what it was now -- but more that she knew Christian would take care of her. Her eyes fell on Dimitri, looking him up and down before one hand made it's way to her hip. It was a shame his personality made her wish the spiders were back, especially because he was so good to look at. She was tired, she was crabby, and she was in no mood for another new guy's incompetence, even if they were easy on the eyes.

What now?

Jack stumbled and fell forward just past Kerrigan as she came to a stop. He turned onto his back and propped himself stare at her in confused. Only to get a similar look from her. He looked to where there should have been a horde or arachnids chasing them to see none. Slightly frustrated and damn tired from technically dying five times today he flopped onto his back and stared at the sky not caring that the surf would come and occasionally slap into him as he laid there. as un-inclined as he was to move he looked at Kerrigan for a moment seeing she was feeling and he grinned but went back to laying there. " We're in one piece... Sorry for nearly dying... and the water in your face... After switching places and you saving me. Let's keep it traditional where it was me saving you darlin. " His voice carried his usual deep bass and upbeat.

His eyes closed as he found will and strength to get himself up and stumble towards the redhead. The wet look had a intense effect on him as his eyes focused and he could see what he thought was the same look in her eye. Pretty soon what just happened seemed like a far off memory. though he was still tired, he took a few steps closer to her, grabbed her by the waist and pulled her close for a make out kiss. however long that sweet eternity lasted when it eventually broke he was staring into her eyes, and didn't release her, fighting the temptation to do it again. His brain lost control of his mouth which was determined to ruin the moment. " What now?" was all it really had. He was tired, sore, and apparently so enthralled who couldn't decide what to do beyond spending time with her and making out. Which as much as he wanted to abuse he didn't want to put her off.

Omega: It was all a Dream~

Jacen frowned as a man he had never seen before entered the situation in the kitchen. Though the new kid managed to make a crack about their vacations. “You’d be surprised…” Jacen muttered, watching as Narcissa and the hostage taker exchanged threats. This was one of those times where Cissa made Jacen shiver, he knew the power she kept bottled inside, the power that seemed to be slowly seeping out at the moment.

Aren managed to play the race card fairly well. Nice. Before he simultaneously managed to escape and Narcissa fired off a shot. Now that Blair hopefully didn’t have anyone to take hostage, if she even still had a face, she couldn’t do much damage.

“Good job gu- Huh?” He looked around, noticing a distinct lack of Spiders & guts. “Suamalie fa’aola, What’s going on now?” He asked of no one in particular. Scratching his head as the sounds of crunching and minimal shrieking quickly died down. The mutant looked over to Aren, “Nice kick.”

Then Shandra, Maddy and Antonio decided to show up for the party, Shandra deciding to play bomb disarmer for Narcissa. Jacen found himself squinting as he collapsed his staff, looking around at the carnage of the house and wincing. “Professor X is not going to be happy…” He noted.
