 Zane, now fully alert, watched Eric walk into the palace. Zane followed him, watching him from the shadows.

Zane flinched and stood up. "Uhm...I'll be on my way. Just...uh...try not to kill anyone." He gave Eric one more look and flew away, wings extended.

The medallions portal to the other world began shaking. It would not last much longer.

Zain was flying by and felt a strong evil emitting from a strange portal. "Hmm....how interesting..." Zain flew near the portal and was sucked in by the evil force.

Zane stopped flying and closed his eyes. "I can...feel his presence...nearby. ZAIN!" He shouted loud. He saw the portal and knew that's where his son went. "Zain I'm coming!" He flew directly into the portal.

Zane came out the other side, son and Micheal as well. "Well, is everyone ok?"

Zain unraveled his wings which he used to break him and Micheal's fall. "Aye Father I am fine..." Zain stumbled a bit as he stood up.

Micheal slowly got up and looked at the portal. "Im going back. I need to control it..."Micheal said as he stood up. He started walking but colasped on the first step.

Zane held hid son in his arms. "Thank goodness you are ok son." He looked towards Micheal. "At least you are alive to fight another day. Just rest, and fight next time."

Zain smiled, feeling his father's embrace for the first time in a long time. He turned to Micheal's unconscious body. "See....we made it, and you were complaining the whole time..." Zain smiled weakly then fainted.

Zane held his son in his arms bridal style and looked at Micheal. "Micheal, I can't help you. This is your fight, not mine. I have to leave." He flew away, son in arms.
