Brooklyn nodded slowly. "Ok." He said. "I never wanted to pass english anyway." He added as an afterthought.

Kai frowned, feeling uneasy about the way Bryan sounded like he was forcing teh words past his teeth. But- he spared a glance at the redhead beside him- Tala didn't seem to think that anything was wrong. And tha was good enough for Kai. "Fine. Where at?" He inquired.

[ Message temporarily off-line ]

"I don't want to know." Kai told Tala. "Well, since it seems like we actually have to go to school tomorrow I have to get home. I have a pile of assignments." Through years of skipping classes, Kai had started an equally benificial rapport with the Office ladies. He gave them information about what was happening in the school and didn't dismiss them as 'only secretaries' and they gave him all of the assignment sheets etc he missed out on when he was... absent.

Kisa nodded. "I'll relay that information to them." She rolled hereyes at Bryan's comment. "Please. They gave me a tiny... ok large-ish gash on my arm... and stomach... and legs... but pssh I've been through worse. I'm not going to let you carry me. Knowing you you'll throw me off a bridge." She took a step away from the wall and turned towards the house she was sharing with him. "Let's go home and you can wallow in your guilt for a while."

Kai thought about what Tala had said for a second. "What? NO!" He said, walking quickly to catch up with his lover. "No. just no." He said firmly. "You were the one who twisted that, not me. You're the pervert here."

Brooklyn watched them leave, smiling faintly at them. It was good being friends with Kai again- if a little strange. Now if only he could figure out what was up with Bryan.

Kisa smirked. "Whatever you say Mr Hippo." She told him, looking over her shoulder and smiling sunnily at him, in much the same way as the real Kisa used to.

Kisa counldn't remember her real name at all. It had been taken away from her the moment she had reached Biovolt. In it's absence she had embraced the number Biovolt had given her as her only means of identification. But still, having a real name was a new and pleasant experience for her.

Kai glared at the back of a random person's head. It was almost the end of the day but there was still a crucial five minutes in which he could bathe himself in the knowledge available to him.

Or at least that's what the teacher up at the front of the classroom was trying to get him to believe. Kai was sure she was high on something.

Brooklyn poked Kai in the side and gave him a note asking how long it was until the bell. Kai answered the note and went back to his random person glarage.

Brooklyn stared at the time Kai had written and willed it to go faster. He was sure that when they went to Bryan's house the Russian's strange behaviour would stop. Or at least it would be explained. He had tried to talk to Bryan all day but he had a strange feeling that Bryan was avoiding hi,.

And he wanted to know why.

The bell finally rang and Brooklyn sent a thank you prayer up to any Gods who happened to be listening in. He stood and quickly copied down his homework, leaning on the desk and penning in all of the pages he had to read and exercises etc that he had to do.

He really didn't care. He wasn't going to do it anyway. He didn't need to. He had read the book in the first week he had received it and didn't need to do the exercises. But it made the teacher feel like she was teaching him something.

He strode out of the room toward his locker, scanning the crowd constantly for Bryan. The Russian hadn't been in his last class.

Kai smirked as Brooklyn practically flew out of the classroom and looked over at Tala. "Do you think he's anxious to see someone?" He asked the redhead, helping Tala to pack up his books.

Brooklyn literally threw his books into his locker and began to scan the crowd for Bryan.

The lilac haired teen wasn't anywhere in sight.

Stupid he though angrily at himself before beginning to barge against the flow of traffic to get to where he knew Bryan's locker was. He has to come here.

"You're just weird in general" Kai informed him before beginning to walk out of the classroom. "Come on. I want to leave this place." He called over his shoulder before walking out of the room.

Brooklyn saw Bryan and increased his pace. "Bryan!" He called, trying to get the Russian's attention. "Bry!" He called again.

"Why would I want to leave life?" Kai queried, looking over his shoulder. "Then I wouldn't have you, would I?" He smirked at Tala and continued to walk away from the redhead.
