"God damn it.." Kelly growled, after a few minutes of being locked in the bathroom. It seemed no matter how much make up she put on herself, the shiner still stuck out. And rearranging her hair was out, because Irish would definitely notice a comb over...
"...And it's not even seven o'clock so going to bed early is out..." She groaned again.

While Jarid remained in the living room, staring at the ground as he sat down in a chair, Irish was already preparing dinner.

Ten minutes later, Kelly finally sulked out of the bathroom, her face a bit darker than normal due to the amount of make up she had on, and now her bangs were combed over her black eye.
In the living room, she looked cautiously around before looking at Jarid.
"...Where's Irish?" She whispered.

"Well, it's not the best room, but at least it's a room." She sighed as she plopped herself down into a lounge chair.
"I'll have to take you shopping tomorrow to help pick out stuff to make it more... Homey."
