"The Kazekage's not here at the moment; thats why I am just wondering around. I can't do anything until he gets back; and he is currently away at the Chunin exams" Ichi said with a slight sigh' he had been called back from his mission but then again he wasn't able to do anything seeing as how Masato was away; so really he was just stuck like he had been before hand; the only difference is that he was stuck inside the Village hidden in the sand other then outside of it.

Kazuki had completely forgot about this fact."Well someone's still in charge there right? And even if not, jounin hang around the Kazekage's office anyway." All this wandering around was starting to get on Kazuki's nerves. It wasn't getting them anywhere anytime fast. He was enjoying the time with his friend though. A quick idea to spar popped up but Kazuki put it aside. Ichi was probably far ahead of him by now and from the last time he and Kazuki fought, there was no way in hell he wanted to try again. He began to walk back toward the village. "C'mon let's at least try to check the office. building."

Ichi nodded slightly it was better then just hanging around and doing nothing at all until Masato managed to get back; man... how long could the Chunin exams take; weren't they normally short like at most a week or two like last time? Well it didn't really matter its not like complaning would make it go any faster; Hopefully Kazuki was right and there would be someone at the Kazekage's office who would be able to help the two of them find someone; anyone to train them.
Ichi knew that Four would most likely be there but Ichi had already asked for questions and it seemed like he either didn't know of anything he could do to help; or just didn't want to. He was in charge while Masato was gone after all. "Yeah we might as well; better then hanging around here where there is no chance of finding anyone" Ichi said nodding slightly as he looked over and replied to Kazuki.
(Post in the Housing Unites; seeing as how we need to pass through them to get to the Kazekage's office)

Kazuki arrived at the training field and headed over to a smaller area where some taijutsu dummies were. Most were made of straw but some had wooden and metal armor on them. He smiled. This would be a good place to start training.
Pulling the sword from his back, he unsheathed the katana. He twirled it around for a bit, feeling around its weight. After this he held it in front of him, trying out different stances until he found a comfortable one. He had studied different types of sword fighting before but had found that none of them really fit his style. He decided he would find and make his own.
He gripped the blade with both hands, holding it in front of him. He faced the dummy and attacked its body with an overhead strike. The sword clanged off of the surface of the wooden armor. Kazuki grimaced. Maybe this was gonna be harder than he thought. He swung from the right and the left, attempting to pierce the armor. After 5 minutes of continued hacking, the armor had not broken only slight scratches on its surface. Kazuki took a step back to think of a better strategy. He decided to try something different. Taking both hands on his sword, he thrust forward
breaking through the wood and piercing through the dummy. Kazuki smiled. This weak wooden armor was easy to break through with a strong thrusting attack, he thought. He looked over at the metal armored dummies and shook his head. That armor would be impossible to pierce with a regular sword. He would have to boost the sword's power with an element or special property first. Of course he'd need to work with the sword for a while longer before he wanted to do that. Kazuki HabaragiKazuki leaned against his sword and sighed. He was tired from that quick movement. He looked down at the sword and smiled. He was getting the hang of this slowly. He gripped the blade again and swung it around toward the metal armored dummy. This was totally not gonna work, he thought to himself as he faced it. He began to move to attack it when he heard a voice call out, "WAIT!" Kazuki almost tripped at the sound of the voice. He turned around and saw his sister, Linda, running toward him. "Hey big brother! Do you need some assistance?" Kazuki cocked his head at this. "How did you know I was training down here?" Linda smiled and pointed at his sword. "I figured that if you didn't get the mission you had wanted then you would be here, training with that because I know you've never used a sword." Kazuki sighed and shook his head. Out of everyone he knew, his sister knew him the best. "Alright then, you can help me out. What was your idea for helping me?"
Linda smiled and pulled a tanto from her back with her right hand then a second one with her left. Kazuki's eyes widened. When the hell did his little sister learn how to use these tanto? She spun them around and whirled her arms toward him. Kazuki didn't realize she was coming at him for real until the first blade nicked his cheek, drawing some blood. Taking a quick hop back, and bringing up his sword in a ready position, he faced his sister. She looked over at him and smiled. "Better learn to defend yourself quick, big brother." Her gaze turned serious and her brow lowered. "Or you'll be cut."First, Linda charged toward Kazuki, stabbing toward him with each blade one at a time. Kazuki kept taking a step back and parrying her blows as they came at him. Linda barked out at Kazuki as she continued. "Until you start standing your ground against this attack, I'm not going to stop." Kazuki was slightly annoyed that she was giving him orders, but he stood his ground. His sides took a couple of nicks but soon found himself knocking aside her thrusts with ease. She backed off and lowered her blades. "Well done, Kazuki. Now for the harder stuff."Linda raised her blades again and began to swing them towards him from different sides, one at a time, just like before. Kazuki was overwhelmed and forgot about his sword. He began to dodge and duck around the blades. Linda sighed and flipped them both out and around Kazuki in his state of panic. He found that her blades were crossed in front of his neck, not pressing against them, but casually sitting there. Linda shook her head. "Get it together Kazu. If I had wanted to you would have been dead. You can't panic when blades come at you from every direction like that." Kazuki closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Your right, I panicked and lost track of your swords. Give me a second and let's try again, ok?"Linda shrugged her shoulders and lowered her swords. "Alright, take your time. I'm here for your benefit." Kazuki sat down and smiled, laying his blade next to him. "Thanks, sis."((Kenjutsu-Rank D acquired-298+579=877/750))

Kazuki lay on the ground for a couple of minutes. His sister practiced hitting the wooden dummies while she waited. Kazuki watched, in hopes that he might gian something from her movements. Her attacks were very fluid and seemed to waste no energy than w"as neccesary. Linda caught him watching her and smiled."The fact that you can watch and study my moves is proof your ready to start again." Kazuki hung his head and sighed. She just laughed at his response. "I know you too well brother. Now get up. Let's start again. Same thing from before." Kazuki nodded and got up.
Linda flipped both her tanto towards Kazuki and began to swing them from either side one at a time again. Kazuki followed the movements this time and blocked the incoming strikes. Remembering from earlier he stood his ground and calmly relfected the blades away from his body. Linda began to sweat and backed off to take a breath. Kazuki too stepped back and composed himself. "Next?", he asked. Linda took a deep breath and replied. "Now I test you in a sparring match." She took a stance and whipped her hair out of her eyes by flipping her head. "You get to come to me now." Kazuki cocked his head. This was obviously a test to see if he had learned how to attack by defending first. He moved forward into range and began to swing his blade around. First from the right, the left, then below and above. Linda nodded. "Good idea. Testing your opponent's defenses first is a nice idea." Kazuki didn't find any spot easier to hit so he swung down towards her head. Linda blocked using her crossed swords to catch the blade. Kazuki pressed his weight into the attack, causing Linda to lower her swords slightly. Pressing harder, he felt his self lose resistance and fell forward onto his face. Linda shook her head. "I don't have to hold the block if I choose. Please remember this next time." She laughed again at his face as he got up. It was covered in dirt and sweat. "I think your fine for now Kazu. Just be careful and remember what I've taught you. You'll learn as you do more fighting too." Kazuki nodded as he whipped the dirt from his face. Kazuki made it to the training canyons behind Ito. He looked toward the wooden dummies area and smiled. He had just been here a day ago with his sister, learning how to wield the sword on his back. He wondered what the kazekage was going to have him work on here. More swordfighting? Maybe sparring? Or maybe a cool sword move he could possibly put to use. He'd have to wait and see what he wanted them to do.

Kazu arrived at the Training Canyons after Kazuki and Ito. He found himself a nice rock to sit on while waiting on their Kage to arrive. He wondered though; how could he learn to use medical ninjutsu offensively...? He had an idea as he heard certain tidbits of information, but since the Sand Village was medical ninja central, there was little to no information for him. That and he was still a genin, only training to be a medic-nin. Sighing, he looked over to Ito. "Since when do you train as a kenjutsu user?" he asked.

Although it took some time Masato finally made it to the training field, but he was not empty handed. In his right hand there was a medium sized sack and in the other was a sheathed katana with what seemed like ornate etchings in the wood of the sheath and colored with gold flake.
"Kazu, please put these on your arms."
As he spoke he placed the bag in front of the boy, inside he would find what looked like two launchers that could shoot 5 needle like items. From his position he walked over to Ito and handed him the sheathed katana.
"Kazuki, Ito, prepare yourselves. After I give Kazu his assignment we will be sparing you two against me, aim to disarm me."

Kazuki withdrew his katana from his sheath on his back and got into a ready position. He cocked his head at the Kazekage. "Uh.....sir....what are we supposed to disarm you of? You have no weapon....." He glanced over to Ito for a quick second. Did this kid have any sword training at all? The other guys statement made it sound as though Ito had never picked up a sword. That was just great. Then again he hadn't practiced working with another sword fighter before either so he probably shouldn't rag on Ito that much. He returned back to the Kazekage. Come to think of it, if the Kazekage was gonna tutor him he wished he knew the man's name. "Oh, and I'm sorry but I don't believe I know your name, Kazekage sir."

Ito took the katana and kinda looked at it like what the hell, Ito looked over to Kazuki then walked over to him. "Ok I have never trained with swords before, I am more of a Kunai person. The largest weapon I have ever used was on my last mission about a year ago and I tapped two kunai together and made like a staff if you will.So yea I may need your help." Ito kind of laughed since it was kinda not like Ito to ask for help.

Kazuki spoke without taking his eyes off of the Kazekage. "I'm fairly new to sword fighting too so don't worry too much. I'll point things out if I notice them. Word of advice though, don't try to just rush him think defense first, offense later, especially since you don't know what your doing just yet."
He felt a bead of sweat roll down his brow to his cheek. He really hoped now that the Kazekage didn't just open a can of whup a** onto his students right off the bat. He'd heard about some mentor ninja do things like that so he kept his eyes on his kage. He still wasn't sure how this sparring thing was gonna go down if his opponent didn't have a weapon.

Kazu was a tad surprised to find two objects that looked like launchers. "What are these for?" he said as he strapped them on both of his arms. He could tell their were needles in them. For what purpose could Masato want him to wear them for? "Uhm what is it I'll be doing?" he asked. "I mean they're just needles after all... Not the greatest tool ever except for maybe medical emergencies."

"Like I said, you will be aiming to disarm me. Literally."
The man looked at Kazuki and Ito as he held out his arms, then a scene that looked as though it was from a horror movie burst in front of them. The man's arms blasted open sending blade like items out of each openings until one massive blade was made on each arm.
"Kazu I would like for you to learn how to use the launcher first, then you will need to gather local poisons in order to make the needles more useful. Now, Ito and Kazuki, begin."
The Kazekage spoke and readied himself for the sparring match.
