The angel boy laughed wholeheartedly, "Yeah, I guess karate wouldn't be too bad to have, but writing isn't too terrible either. There are still plenty of uses for it, right? Sure, it's not any good in a fight really, but no matter where you go, what world you end up in, or who you're with, writing will always be a useful skill, because writing is involved in nearly all cultures."

Despite being a bit airy and unable to hold onto concepts explained clearly to him, he didn't seem to be unintelligent. He waved his hand through the glowing text in the air, dispersing into a glowing dust and spoke, "So... who was the lady with you earlier?"

Azrael cocked an eyebrow at the Dark One. "Yeeeeeeeah, why in the world would I give you wishes? Considering, last I knew, those were pretty powerful things. How in the hell would I know that wouldn't come back to bite me in the a** at some point?"

The replica shook his head. "Ridiculous. Making random deals like this is what ******** people over. Three wishes just for heart...probably only two anyway, considering I doubt you could hand over wishes without even using a wish. What the hell would he even do with wishes."

The last bit was muttered, less speaking and more thinking aloud.

"Oh, her? That's Ultima," he replied. "The spirit I was telling you about before. She's--"

For a split-second, he hesitated, thinking about his current situation. The thoughts ended as quickly as they'd frayed out.

"--my summon. Helped me out of a tight spot more than a few times," he said, looking back. The cocoon; the replicas; Chernabog, even. She'd always been there.

She was definitely his summon.

Bobbi had always loved the sound of heels clicking against tiled floors. No idea why, just something about the sound was comforting. And heels on glass? Such a strangely satisfying noise.

It had taken her a little bit to figure out how to get into her own heart; her previous meditations had been purely mental and external, relaxing her body and mind and trying to use the latter to communicate. Now, though, she'd gotten the trick of getting into her heart—a kind of inward twist that was hard to explain and tricky to pull off, but now that she knew what to do she was confident she could get back in whenever she needed.

She took a moment to admire the stained glass. The various shades of violet, from deepest amethyst to pale lilac, laced with gold, emerald and peridot greens, and splashes of garnet's red-violet tones here and there all came together in a very pleasing mosaic. Always with the jewel tones, but hey, at least her psyche had some consistency. That and an interior decorator with impeccable taste. There were a few cracks here and there, but they were mending, and anyway weren't particularly large or deep.

"Yeah, looks about right," she muttered, mostly just to hear something other than her footsteps. Then, a little louder, "Louis? You here?"

"True identity? What ya see is what ya get, dearie!" he replied, spreading his arms and twirling around, making a show of his presence. "If there's anything more, I'd like to know as much as you!"

"The person who pointed you little beasties out to me was very keen on giving you some additional perks," he explained, turning around and lazily stepping up on various pieces of rubble. "More power here, more protection there, making sure that pesky all-seeing eye was ripped from your fake little hearts, cute as they are."

"And yet, it seems you'd rather just forget I ever existed!" he said, peering back into Azrael's eyes, his own having a knowing gleam. "Not that they'd let you, of course. You walk out of this bubble and you become one of their greatest little assets, because you've seen me~"

As the girl walked around her station, the click of heels echoing harshly into the silent expanse, there was no presence to be noted, no person to greet her, just an empty disk of crystal. When she spoke, that changed, the name dragging up a being from nothing, what was empty was now filled a moment later, not a blink separated its absence from its existence, "Loo-eess? Loo-is? Looeesee?"

Behind her, now sat a boy, well, if you could call it sitting. As the male mused over the name, pronouncing it differently over and over, it gave her the opportunity to observe the boy's awkward antics. Dressed in black, thin garments from the waist down, bare chested from then up, minus the bangles and jewelry, made him a perfect candidate to be mistaken as a belly dancer. More confusing than his dress however, was the way he sat, upside-down on the black and purple throne that had appeared with him, he was laid out, legs asymmetrically placed, one ancle hooked at the top of the chair, the other draped over the arm of the chair, while his head hung off the seat of the chair, tilted with a perplexed yet blank grin.

"Who is... Louis?" the boy was unmistakably the Ivalician whom they'd traveled with, but his eyes, with an unnatural glow, showed no sign of deceit.

"Bobbi..." the boy mused over the name for a moment, as if tasting it with his tongue, "That name... sounds familiar," as fast as he had appeared he was gone, though, the black throne still stood.

"Nene, Bobbi-oneesan? Can I have this dance?" the boy reappeared at her side, head tilted to almost a 90 degree angle over her shoulder, his back to hers, so his gaze looked her almost directly into her eyes if she turned to face him, obviously ignoring any semblance of personal space. His eyes still giving off an unnerving glow.

The young man was gone just like that again, reappearing in front of her, slightly bowed one palm out, with the other behind his back.
