gonk oh how he hurts to look at. Self trained on action movies. sweatdrop Why oh why did he feel the need to reverse his grip on the offhand katana? ...though I guess he gets points for not tripping over himself... he's at least a bit coordinated.

hehe, that was funny, rabit dodged the snakes atatcks then started biteing the snake. why the rabit was going up to a snake in teh first place i'm nto realy sure but that rabit was acting like a monguse. blaugh
and that coments about criticals in a dire situation is true. hehe, ive had more then a few times when i was in a dire situation and got a crit roll and saved my char.
and i agree with aileen, truthfully when he is switching his hold on that katana I se theres an opening that he could be attacked in and would be forced to iether forget about the off hand katana and cut off his foot or get hit.

Guy clearly doesn't know exactly how katana work. There's a reason that I have opaj duel-wield his katana less and less. sweatdrop *Curses his earlier needs to imbue his avatar character with so many weeaboo qualities.* But I cannot abandon my dear opaj! gonk
@gold: I've relied on crit. rolls to win games of lazer tag in the past, m'self.

Yeah, I only dual wielded knives and daggers.
Well Boss 'paj, when you get your Opaj back into things, I can be right there to send Evil his way.
Actually, didn't Kalis already kill Opaj during Triad?

opaj survived, and is resting up in some random joint in Barton Town at the moment. Though I've had him on a Random Adventure! for about a month before Triad began. I reckon this Random Adventure! counts as before Triad happened, then I'll have him wander away from his current companions to go marble crazy (retroactively), then I'll send him whatever which way the winds take him.
Possibly Clockwork Purgatory next. Though that's likely to end before Random Adventure! does, as well.
@gold: Well, I was talking about IRL and not D&D.
[Edit]
Going back to the dual-wielding klutz on Youtube, I give him no points for not tripping over himself. He looks so unstable, I reckon a decent fighter would have him on his back in a matter of seconds.

At least he wasn't trying to tri-weild like the Opaj?
Or cutting himself in the middle of his routine? wink

Gah... YouTube has a way of making anything on it look really silly and amateurish... I was just searching for my martial art. sweatdrop Ah, this will work. It's not my martial art, but Systema holds the same principles in mind, and Mikhail Ryabko is probably the best martial artist alive today 3nodding http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp9d7hix1_MEdit: yes, he was incredibly unstable...but I guess I've seen too much Star Wars Kid-esque videos. sweatdrop

Well now, if you got a problem with the Boss 'paj you got a problem with me too. wink
Slow motion makes most things like amateurish and silly.
With the exception of the Chappelle Show Slow Motion/Club Scene skit.

Systema. Reminded me more of a Russian Martial Art I heard of called a Sanbo or something...
Course the only two Russian Martial arts I know of is the above one, and the typical "Big Kick" style that was often taught to their soldiers.

Arcturus Highwind At least he wasn't trying to tri-weild like the Opaj? Hey, don't pin that tri-wielding stuff on opaj! That's all Rage. I never intended for opaj to have three katana, and he's never used more than two at a time in combat. xp Come to think of it, wasn't it Bob Roberts who was responsible for opaj ending up with a third blade? neutral @Kupo: Perry Bible Fellowship FTW.

Only in so far as you decided that him challenging you pushed you far enough to find the third blade.

hehe, since Systema is a Russian martial art, and the one they use for their special forces, I'm not surprised that there's another Russian martial art that looks similar. biggrin
