Attention all students in the Academy, these are the 4 jutsu on the chalk board. You may learn them now but once i teach the final basic jutsu, they will be erased.
Mizu Kagami no Jutsu (Water Mirror Technique) Description: A simple jutsu that allows the user to turn a quantity of water as small as a drop and as large as a small puddle into a mirrored surface. This can allow the user to see behind himself, and around corners with careful application of the technique.
Uo Tsuba (Fish Spit) Description: A simple jet of water shot from the mouth. It can hit with enough force to stun you if it hits properly. It can be done up to 5 times in succession, or one jet can be shot. To give an example of its power, Mist academy students usually use this technique to play a game much like tag.
Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique) Description: Creates one or multiple identical copies of the original out of water. More similar to Kage Bunshin then a regular Bunshin, water clones are capable of attacking, except each clone is roughly 1/10 the power of the original. The water clone can perform one jutsu that the user also knows once. It must be a water elemental jutsu. One solid hit will destroy the clone.
Mizu Soujuu (Water Manipulation) Description: Any Mist Shinobi that uses ninjutsu should likely have this technique. This involves learning basic manipulation of the properties of water. Boiling, freezing, and pressurization of water are included in these studies. Freezing is mostly limited to small amounts of water, and boiling includes the creation of steam by further putting chakra into the water. The user cannot perform these tasks on larger bodies of water with this basic study alone. Furthermore, by learning to draw water from the moisture in the air, the shinobi can use water techniques without requiring a source of water nearby (unless stated otherwise.) A Kage level jutsu always requires a water source, even if the Mist-nin in question creates it first.

(( Sorry about not posting. Computer broke sad )
Mizutenma woke up and noticed he had fallen asleep. He saw more jutsu on the board. There was only two he did notice so he decided to work on the Uo Tsuba first thinking it would be more useful than Mizu Kagami no Jutsu.
He looked at the board and started to remember the hand signs for Uo Tsuba. After a couple of min, he concentrated on his chakra and said,"Uo Tsuba!"
He spat water out but it was a little bigger than spit and fell straight towards the floor. It didn't even reach a foot and hit the floor. He frowned and started to try again.

Aideen Hyuuga ミストのブラインド娘 Hyuuga Bloodline| Academy Student| Taijutsuist Aideen was finished for now so she started playing with the face mask function of the metal, it retracted out, and in again to create a mask to cover her bottom face, it made a very interesting sound to go with it. She left the mask up and started to draw a picture to pass the time. Later, she'd have a field day with these new jutsus.

Hizuma glanced up at the board, then took a glance around the room. Some were working, some were goofing off. Not that it mattered to him, but eh. He read the first jutsu on the board quickly, anticipating something to happen.
He soon found out he was right when a few students got pelted by water balls, courtesy of the teacher. Ignoring this, though it was quite humorous, he read through the Water Manipulation Training. This was the foundation for all water style techniques and could be used once mastered to draw water from the atmosphere rather than be dependant on being near a lake or river.
He stopped in annoyance as some commotion broke out in the room. Once it was quiet Hizuma read through again, reading how it was to be performed. Once he understood it, he was ready to try.

((For the record. My posts don't look like paragrahs because I use small font))
Hizuma began to concentrate. he could feel moisture in the air. But then again, he did live in MIST Village, so that was normal. He briefly wondered how much mastery he would need to use this in, say, the desert. Shaking his head, he got back on task quickly.
He refocused, willing the moisture around him to come towards him. This of course did nothing, but he guessed it would help to some extent. He began to leak out a bit of chakra into the mist around him, using this to call it towards him. Finally, he made one hand seal, focusing his chakra for its specific use.
He focused. and began to call the water towards himself, to gather on the desk. He closed his eyes, trying to shut everyone off from his concentation. he opened his eies to see...three drops of water gathered on the desk.

Hizuma cursed under his breath, wiping the drops of water off of the desk. He began again, calling the moisture to him. He formed the hand seal lowly, focusing chakra through it into the air. He could feel the air become...dryer, almost. Not totally dry, but less muggy. He opened his eyes to see a good size puddle of water on his desk.
He moved on from this. He touched the water with one finger, pushing some chakra into it. He pushed, causing the water to heat up quickly. Without paying attention, the water had evaporated, the misty air around himself had gotten hotter, and there was a scorch mark on the desk. He reasoned that he had understood that part decently, though control was a goal.
Next up, he called on some more of the misty water, forming a larger puddle on his desk. He touched two fingers to this water and focused his cakra, as all Hyuuga's had learned, instead of pushing it out, he began to move it, faster, then slower. Though is fingertips were acclimated to the water, he could still feel it growing colder. He stopped, now moving the chakra alone. Inside the puddle a small disk of ice had frozen, smaller than a shuriken. He picked this up gingerly and flicked it the same. "Mastered" he said with a smile as the thin ice shattered on the wall.

Hizuma read over the board again, reading the first jutsu on the list. He didn't like having to learn such a sophomoric technique, since it would be hard to use in combat. But he figured there was, or would be, a reason to learn it. Besides, it was required to graduate the Academy. So he sucked it up and read the instructions. He read them through again, hoping he had misread them. This technique was almost easy. Sighing as he noticed people were getting quieter, he began focusing his chakra through his body, prepairing for the technique.
He breathed in some misty air as he made hand seals. He pushed it out, almost bullet-like, as he exhaled. But nothing happened. He tried again, with the same displeasing result. He read the technique over, not finding flaw with what he was doing, going by the board. He tried again, channeling the chakra into his throat. He breathed in, but somehow breathed in somethgin wierd and started couging. he put his hand over his mouth, coughing out spit and water and...hang on, there was a thought. He tried this again after the coughing fit had passed.
He focused the chakra into his throat and made the hand seal. He breathed in slowly, then exhaled. Not in quick bursts has he had, but slower, but more controlled bursts. The result of this was a large ball of water, flying a few feet before splashing ont an empty desk in front of him. He added more chakra and tried again, repeating the process. He inhaled and exhaled, spitting four waterballs in succcession towards the front of the room. Nodding in his own approval, he tried this again. This time, he used more chakra and pushed out, turning around as he did so. The waterball was consiterably bigger, larger than he had anticipated. he turned back around, hoping those behind him would have snese to dodge the water ball though he had not aimed at any of them.

Hizuma read the board for the next jutsu. Water Clone Jutsu. 'Now here's something with some use in combat' he thought. Even if nothing else, he could use this to spar with himself when, and if, he ever learned his clan's style. He read the description, a little set back by the fact that the clone only had 1/10 of his own power, but that would work well for a destraction or to get away. Otherwise he found a use for the Fish Spit technique, as a destraction. When the clone used it it could have some use. But he pushed this out of mind until he learned the jutsu.
Hizuma read through what he had to do. The trick was to create a basic clone with water around him. It was much like an illusion clone. But this was at least solid and could fight back, though weakly. He formed the hand seal, focusing on creating a duplicate of himself standing right beside him. He focused the chakra into the water and formed the seal, closing his eyes as he did. He opened his eyes to see... a frail-looking immitation of himself beside him. Dispelling it, he tried again. He focused more chakra into the water, aiming to create a duplicate of himself.
He watched the water take form. This time, instead of the wispy, delicate clone of before, an almost exact clone stood beside him. He said almost because his clone's hair was maybe an inch shorter than Hizuma's flowing locks. He dispelled it again, pushing quite a bit more chakra into the water in the air around him. This time, two clones formed, both looking exactly like Hizuma. He nodded in approval, dispelling them both into twin large puddles of water on the floor.

((Argh, I haven't been able to post in forever... so I'm just going to do something...)) Varro stared down at his reflection in the latest technique he had already quickly mastered, his mind tracing over how easy this all seemed. He wondered if it would continue to feel so simple, was his mind and bloodline really able to help him achieve his recently developed lofty goals. The crash heard from the door shocked him out of his thoughts, his head snapping in the direction of the noise.
The large dog Rath made him jump as it bounded towards him, passing by to come over to Rei. Varro watched with shock as her and the animal communed in what could only be a conversation that they alone could understand. When she left the class suddenly on-top of the animal, Varro felt an overwhelming sense of concern. It must have been an emergency to leave like that during something as important as the lesson.
He wanted to go after her, for some reason, he had just met this girl but he felt such a caring for her that this sudden event made him worry. Varro stared at the door she had taken off out of for several moments, his mind silent for once before it snapped him back. He would find out what had happened later, for now he had to focus on the class and his training. He could not stay a student, he must move to Genin as soon as he could.
Varro turned back to the front of the class, folding his hands behind his back as he awaited the sensei's next lesson. Confident he would learn that one in no time as well.

Hizuma read the last jutsu on the board over once. It seemed simple enough, he guessed. As he formed a hand seal and began gathering small drops of water, as well as calling some water from the dispelled clones on the floor, he began to muse. Sure he had learned some things at te Academy, but he really needed to learn his clan style as soon as possible. A Hyuuga that cannot activate his Byakugan is a dead Hyuuga. Once he had attained a sufficient puddle, he dropped the hand seal. He read over what he was supposed to do again. Finally, he looked down at the puddle.
Hizuma moved in slow, deliberate motions. He laced his fingers together, flipped them over, and pushed, resulting in seven loud pops. He released his fingers and began focusing chakra. Looking down, he formed the hand seal and placed his hands over the water. As he focused his chakra, the water rippled gently. He looked down into it, seeing only the desk under it. Undaunted, he tried again.
He formed the hand seal again and placd his hands over the puddle. This time, the water rippled faster. He looked down and saw a light, then the desk. He looked above himself and saw... a light. Nodding once, he made a different seal. Between his hands he called a small bit of the puddle. He looked into it as he made the hand seal to create the reflection. Sure enough, for about twenty seconds, he could see reflections of everyone and everythign behind him. Satisfied he had these mastered to a decent degree, he sat back in his chair, releasing the water mirror and placing two fingers to the puddle on his desk and freezing the contents using his chakra.

When the huge Dire flew into the room it almost knocked him over. He made a mental note to found out what was wrong for Rei-nin. Not only because he was concerned for his student, but if something happened in his village with out him knowing about it, serious repercussions would follow from Luo. Because LT was assigned as ANBU Captain. None the less, LT had a job to do and that would be a later lesson for the students to learn. Mission First, but People Always. After the Wolf left, LT sighed and folded his arms, but he decided against doing nothing, LT formed hand-signs and formed another water clone. It nodded to LT and followed Rei-Nin out the door. The real ANBU Captain turned to the board and wrote down the last basic nin-jutsu for the students. This nin-jutsu is really useful for you sword users. Mizu no Waruasobi (Trick of Water). It has very few hand-signs, and wen you get good at it you dont really need to use the hand signs at all. LT looked at his students for someone who was distracted, He already picked on Varro and Riku, so he decided against those two again, eh he just decided against using one the kids as an example. He would just simply show them.
((Since its such a simple jutsu, just 2 posts are required.))
Mizu no Waruasobi (Trick of Water) Description: A very simple technique which involves a simple flick of one's hands and a muster of sweat in the fingers. A precise flick comes from of the hands or even a shake can be made as if trying to get something off one's hands. The water streaks from the hand of the user and towards the enemy's eye. This unexpected irritation can blur their vision.

Varro read over the last jetsu, for some reason he had expected it to be the hardest one, instead Lt had saved the easiest for last. Considering the move itself needed someone to practice on he looked at Riku as the boy studied the board as well, then quickly decided against that.
"Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!" The hand signs had been formed fast, and the clone of himself was immediately there in front of him. These clones, as they were for many, would quickly become one of his favorites. The clone blinked at him, staring blankly with little expression as it awaited its fate.
Varro laughed slightly as the simple hand signs were formed, a small bead of sweat formed itself into a ball at the end of his middle finger, "Mizu no Waruasobi!" the bead flew off of his finger with a flick and with a sigh the clone took it in the eye. The clone sat trying not to feel shame for this, his eyes filling up with water as the irritation started to get to him, but he couldn't stand it much longer. He rubbed at his eyes furiously, really, it was very annoying, but the real Varro was very amused.
