Hatake Hiashi
Konoha | Hatake Clan | Academy Student

Stepping onto the familiar open grass field between the forests of Konoha, Hiashi breathed in deep, taking the morning air into his lungs as he exhaled and looked around the field. There were various other ninja training in different parts of the field, and in fact, he had walked past the well known village Sannin... a taijutsu master which Hiashi himself hoped to surpass one day... just as he wished to surpass his idol. "Well, that's what I'm here for." Hiashi thought to himself as he began to roll his shoulders and jump from one leg to the next as he warmed up a bit... "Time to get started."

As he did often, Hiashi began with his Butoukai Sono Raijin training, which he had been aspiring to master for some time now. He had studied the stances and knew them by heart and was starting to understand them on a much better level now. having trained his mind and body for hours on end in the areas of stamina, strength, and speed as a taijutsu user, Hiashi was well suited to this style of training and felt that he had a natural aptitude for it.

Placing the palms of his hands together in front of him as if praying, Hiashi closed his eyes as he began to channel energy through him, gathering chakra around him. Training had never bothered him, and in fact, according to his teachers he had aptitude for learning far beyond most students. What would take others weeks or months to learn, Hiashi could learn in days. This is why, even as an Academy Student, Hiashi was able to access and utilize nature manipulation, which was not normally something that someone of his level could achieve. Infusing the chakra he was gathering with his elemental affinity, Hiashi's hands began to emit small charges of electricity which licked off his skin in short pulses, creating small streams of electricity which flowed around them.

Pulling his arms back, Hiashi moved into the first stance of the style, feeling the electricity flow through his body as it moved outward from his hands, streaming now into his arms as he gently pushed his hands palms outward towards the trees. Transitioning then to the next stance, Hiashi brought one arm to the side in a sweeping motion as he allowed his hips and left leg to turn as well, followed quickly with a sharp thrust of his right palm forward, which caused a surge of electricity over his arm through to his palm as it gathered in a large mass before crackling back into his hand once more. Pulling his arm back, Hiashi brought his right leg up, leaning back slightly as he curled his knee to his chest before extending his leg up into the air, holding it there for a second. Bending his knee back, he then snapped his foot forward again, a surge of electricity travelling through his leg as he felt the lightning flowing through him begin to effect his muscles, sending a slight tingle through his spine.

Hiashi had always considered it fate that he shared the same primary elemental affinity with his idol, Kakashi, and had always embraced it so that he could master it as he did. From a young age, he allowed himself to be shocked by electricity many times, developing a resistance to it over the months and years until his body had grown partially resistant to the lightning's flow. it had been difficult and at times painful, but he had endured it that he might one day surpass even the greatest of the Hatake Clan. this style was the natural extension of all the rest of his training and would serve his purposes well. Though he knew the later levels would allow him to augment his muscles in new ways, he had not yet achieved this, though he considered the tingling feeling in his muscles a sign that the time was soon coming when he would be able to master those forms.

Hiashi brought his foot back down, not particularly enjoying the extra weight the weights he had tied to his legs for months now added, but coming to realize them less and less as of late. He had known that it was not yet necessary, but had decided to train with them long beforehand so that he might advance himself even faster when the time came. After moving through a few more stances, Hiashi then finally burst forward in a quick step, bolting across a small section of the field in an instant, ending the movement with a stiff punch which streamed electricity through his arm in a pulsing form. Following it up quickly, he began to spin, delivering an elbow attack, then kick, in a furious delivery of blows to an imaginary foe in his mind.

After several minutes of this, he finally stopped, placing his palms back together again as he allowed the movements to register into his brain, allowing the lightning which flowed around him to dissipate as he opened his eyes once more, ready to continue his training with jutsu.

Entering the training grounds, Kensei at first didn't notice anywhere designed for Suiton practitioners. Luckily the site of his friend Taiki, hopping around crazily as his finger was on fire, drew his attention towards him and he noticed the pond behind him.
As he passed by Tai, he casually remarked, "You might want to see someone for that, i don't think it's quite healthy to spontaneously combust."

Settling himself down in the lotus position, Kensei Opened the scroll and scanned it's contents. It wants me to concentrate on my surroundings and feel the moisture in the air and try to condense it. Lightly shrugging his shoulders, Kensei proceeded to do so. Visualizing the small droplets of water gathering into the palms of his hands, he was startled to find that a rather large amount of water had begun gathering in his hands. Of course, his surprise at what he had just accomplished, caused a lapse of concentration and the water he had just gathered splashed down onto his pants.
"Great! Now it looks like I just wet my pants."

Glaring playfully at Tai, "Oh who's the smart one now, huh?", Kensei said as he handed the scroll to Taiki. As Kensei stood up to leave, "Well If you'd like I'll return your other scroll to the Library when I get there."

"Ha ha ha! Ciao, Tai, good luck with the mop on your head!" Kensei joked as he high-tailed it in the direction of Konoha's Library taking Taiki's old scroll with him.

Hatake Hiashi
Konoha | Hatake Clan | Academy Student

Walking out of the woods, his clone still accompanying him, Hiashi had already completed everything he would need for the test, but it wasn't like him to simply do the bare minimum. He had found that learning these jutsu was almost remedial to him, for what reason, he wasn't entirely sure, as he had seen others struggle. for whatever reason though, he simply understood how to do the techniques and could continue on before scrambling off to the academy. The static strings technique had seemed rather useful after reading through the scroll once again and could have a variety of applications once learned.

Gathering his chakra, Hiashi began forming the seals for the technique, hearing a small crackling in between his hands as he finished the last seal and spoke the incantation... "Raiton: Seiteki Suji no Jutsu". Pulling his fingers apart slowly, Hiashi could see small strings of electricity between them as he grinned to himself, again, easily able to master the use of the Academy level jutsu as he moved over to the tree's edge once more, attaching the string to a tree as he walked several meters to another tree, wrapping the string around it's trunk, the static strings elongating as he went. After a few rounds of this, he bade the lightning clone to walk through the area, and the second it touched the nearly invisible line, the clone jumped back, having been shocked by electricity, which Hiashi also felt tingle in his fingertips where the static strings were attached. Satisfied that he had finished learning this jutsu, he went on to some genjutsu, which he had seen would serve much the same purpose of the static strings.

Bringing out the appropriate scroll once more, Hiashi reviewed the seals and concept behind the jutsu quickly as he thought of all of the applications behind the jutsu. Aside from being a funny prank at times, just like the static strings, it could provide vital information about an approaching enemy if they had set off the Genjutsu's effect. Putting the scroll away, Hiashi took out a small kunai, tossing it into the ground as it stuck straight in, the loop part pointing up into the air at an angle. Bending down next to the kunai, Hiashi began to gather his chakra once more, forming several hand seals as he placed his hand over the kunai... "Raiton: Raimei Wana Fuu" A small jolt of lightning immediately transferred from his hand as it surrounded the kunai briefly, sending strings of electricity flowing across the metal for a few second before disappearing. Stepping away from the kunai, Hiashi instructed his clone to pick up the kunai, which it did obediently, immediately triggering the trap as a large boom of thunder could be heard across the entire field, causing even Hiashi to jump at the sound.

"Woah..." Hiashi felt his heart racing from the sudden explosion, but was glad to see that he had successfully learned yet another jutsu so easily. More then satisfied with his progress, Hiashi waved to his clone as he performed a single hand seal, dispersing the clone in a burst of smoky, hot air. with his training done for now, Hiashi quickly broke into a sprint across the field, his speed carrying him across the training grounds in no time as he rushed to the academy to await the arrival of someone who could give him the test to become a Genin.

hm... now that I have finished the Mizu bunshin no jutsu, I might as well start on the regular bunshin and possibly Henge as well. Kensei, thinking that his prior success with the elemental jutsu would be continued, was severely disappointed when instead of a proper clone appearing, a sickly looking one with pink hair appeared. He promptly dismissed the eye sore. (1/3 Bunshin)

After the utter failure that was his first attempt at the Bunshin no jutsu, Kensei decided that perhaps Henge would be a better choice to start off with. He headed closer to the pond and looked down so that he could see his reflection. I think i'll try and look like Tai. Picturing Tai in his mind, he started signing. "Inu, I, Tora, Henge no jutsu!" Kensei shouted. Once the smoke had cleared he looked at his reflection and immediately sweat-dropped. "Darn it, I look like a fat female version of Tai! What the heck happened?" (Henge 1/3)

Well the last one i think i'll try and perform today will be the Kawarimi no jutsu. "Mizu bunshin no jutsu!" Kensei said as he created a water clone. "I want you to throw a rock at me and i'll dodge it." The clone nodded it's head in acknowledgment and threw a rock at the original. The original as a he had suspected he would, once again failed to properly perform the technique and instead slumped over onto the ground his hands holding his groin. "Not cool man, not cool!" Kensei managed to mutter through the pain. (kawarimi no jutsu 1/3)

Through sheer will Kensei stood up and slowly began to walk in the direction of The Konoha dorms. "That's it man, I'm done for the day." Before he left he had managed to reclaim what little dignity he could by hitting the Mizu bunshin with the rock it had thrown at him, dispelling it.
