" Your amusing at all occasions I guess. " He gave a slight chuckle.
However, Shinzo was scanning them completely of what they had. The deal was, bandits had a problem: weapons. They were always hungry for weapons and they usually loved the big stuff. He found a man with a flamethrower in the middle. Perfect. Shinzo found his mini-sniper rifle under the seat and hi a perfect shot at the gas tank in the back. Then, it was all a blur of the bandits running around and Shinzo covering Lauren with his body. A blast was heard. A few seconds later, Shinzo brushed off the broken glass from his body. A few shards got him, but it wasn't bleeding so badly. Then he made a quick body count from the explosion.

Lauren held in her breath and closed her eyes. When she felt Shinzo's body covering her, she relaxed, but worried more about him getting hurt. When he got up, she did as well, but moving slowly upwards. She waited, getting anxious to get out of the area.

Shinzo noted on the body count. " Only four of of six. It should be fine. "
He moved to the front of the car and started it up again. A 9 inch shard of glass was in his arm as he removed it before starting to steer. The spot oozed blood and it stung, but Shinzo thought more about getting them out of there.
" We should be ok for now. That only happens rarely on this mountain. "

Lauren slipped into the passenger seat after he moved. She buckled up, and looked ahead, trying not to say a word. She was a little bit nervous, not so use to being attacked by random people. She breathed softly, before noticing the stench of blood. "Maybe we should pull over.. We don't want that to get infected." She suggested, nodding at the wound.

Daisuke chuckled. "That was pretty good." He still felt bad for annoy his mistress but he was used to being yelled at so it didn't bother him much.

Shinzo looked at the wound and back at the road. " It will be fine. Right now, we should worry about getting out of here, quickly. Two got away and I never heard of bandits roaming in six. "
He sped up a bit and tried to make small talk to keep her calm.
" So, excited to see the temple? "

Lauren frowned at his decision, and the hairs on the back of her head rose a little. "It was just a suggestion.." She said softly in a sad voice. "Temple? What's inside of it? Monks?" She tried to sound interested, but was still worried about the little fight scene, his arm, and what's going on. Sam got her boots on and walked into the kitchen. She rubbed his head, "Ready?" She urged him on as she walked over to the door.

" You can heal me when we get there...which is now * They reached a large, stone temple covered in moss. It was old and seemed abandoned. He opened the door and stepped out, directing her behind a pillar. He rolled up his sleeve and held his arm up for her.
" You can heal it here, we wont be attacked at this place. "

Lauren got out and went into the trunk, pulling out her bag. She walked over to him, opening it and taking out the first aid kit. She grabbed the hydrogen peroxide first, pouring it on his wound, hearing the sizzle of germs dying and the peroxide bubbling. She then grabbed the gauze, placing it on his wound, and began to wrap it with the bandage wrap. She wrapped it in a thick layer before grabbing the medical tape and tapping the wrap firmly onto his skin. "There." She put everything away back into the trunk before moving over to Shinzo. Sam walked outside and headed for the trails. It was a nice day outside, the sun was beaming overhead and the animals were running and making noises about. Things were peaceful outside, just like they usually are.

He stood up and walked near the opening of the temple.
" There, inside should be some luggage. "
He started to walk slowly down the steps, looking back.
" Hope your not afraid of the dark. "
His face was slightly shaded but a grin illuminated within the darkness.

Lauren followed him far behind, being cautious to entire a random dark place. She entered in silently, whispering, "Master?" She had her hand on the wall as she walked in deeper, trying to have something guide her. Sam began to speak quietly, "Not to quote Lion King or anything, but anything the light touches is yours. Not entirely, but you get the idea right? You're family now. Do you not understand? You're not a slave anymore."

He grabbed her by the arm. " Just follow along with my foot steps. and call me Shinzo. " A sweat drop rolled down the side of his head. He did not want to seem like a slave owner...
They walked down to a dark room as Shinzo opened up his lighter.
" The luggage should be laying around in here. "

Daisuke smiled at his mistress. "Thank you but, it will be hard being 'free', and I've never seen the Lion King."
