I think that Hakkai, being Hakkai, would try and be tolerant of Tenpou, but would be driven nuts by Tenpou's general messiness.
"Could you clean that up?"
"I will later."
"But... you see..."
"Get Kenren to."
I think Tenpou would be very indifferent of Hakkai... or maybe that's not the right word? Put off by him, or something. I can't describe it.
I definitely think they'd respect eachother's fighting abilites, though. I mean, they're both very intelligent. They'd know not to make enemies out of eachother.

As to Tenpou and Hakkai:
Tenpou will most likely be interested in Hakkai. He is interested in all things related to the world, remember, he reads books about history and such. Hakkai has had so much experience with the good and the bad sides of men and youkai, so I believe he poses a rather good specimen for Tenpou (who likes learning about human struggles, because he's bored with a peaceful life in heaven).
Hakkai, on the other hand, would be subjected to more deep thinking and reasoning. I imagine he would remain polite and amiable, but deep down inside, he might be thinking "_This_ was my form of person in heaven? Hmm."
In any case, they are both intelligent, calculating people, so they would respect each other at all costs.

Wah interesting question, Xen... err... Arnharta-san. (Why Arnharta, though? Care to explain?)
I tend to agree with Kitty Pan (aka fallske) on her take on Tenpou regarding Hakkai. I think that Tenpou will be very interested in Hakkai's history...
And I'm sure Hakkai would also be interested in his god form and would be wanting to know more about "How the heck then I got to be down here if I was a god before?" Er... or something like that. I mean, that's what I'd think if I were Hakkai anyway. So nyah~! razz
Moreover, both of them share that book-wormy-ness quality, I could so totally see them:
Hakkai: There's a really good book by this author called "Gensomaden Saiyuki", have you read that, Tenpou-san?
Tenpou: I'm sorry I don't think I've ever heard of that book.
Hakkai: Shall I lend it to you some time?
Tenpou: Please don't trouble yourself but I would really appreciate it if you did...
Hakkai: *bows*
Tenpou: *bows*
They both will totally _reek_ of politeness, it's not gonna be funny anymore!
