"Well, since this is going to be your first time doing this..." Lune searched the cave for something and came back with a dark rock. "Use this like a marker. I'll outline where you cut the fur. Once the skin's off, we wash it, gently. The body, we'll have to get rid of. Cat meat can be eaten but...it's kinda yuck if you ask me." He frowned, the grin. "It's fangs will make excellent weapons. The skull itself can be used as a helmet. The paws, if cut off right, can be fashioned into gloves that one can fight with..."

"Wrong tool, Alex..." Lune said with a chuckle and switched the spear out with one of the boar daggers. "Use this. You'll have a better hold and accuracy than with a spear."

Lune smiled as he watched Alex get started. After a moment, he stepped out the cave and searched for a place to get rid of the body. He found a couple of good spots and returned.

Lune gave a low whistle. "Nice job, and barely a tear! You're good at this stuff." He said giving Alex's ear a lick as he took a look at the skin. "I'll remove to bones we need since they're hard to break off cleanly. Wash the blood and off the inside of the skin, but be gentle since it'll tear easily after a certain point of water weight. So, what you'll have to do is dumped water across it and gently scrap the inside with the smooth parts of the dagger..." He explained.

By the time Alex was done, Lune had succeeded in freeing the skull from the body without damaging it too much. He also had pulled out a couple of rib bones. Right now, he was working on removing the paws.

Lune was totally concentrated as he cut around the bone of the wrist until he could carefully break it. Then he repeated the whole process with the ther paw. Then, thinking about boots for Alex, he worked on the hind legs as well. He brushed his hair back as it fell into his eyes.

Lune blinked and looked up. He smiled. "Thanks, Alex." He said, letting the name roll off his lips before returning to his work. This...kind of reminds me of how mom treated dad whenever he was fixing up the dojo... Now I see why he loved mom's presence so much... He thought absently.

Lune soon had the hind paws off as well. From there, he carefully gutted them and hollowed the bones out into handles/grips. The hind paws he cleaned out and then let them all dry. "Whew. That takes care of your gloves and boots..."
