"Didn't sleep," the prince smiled easily - perhaps a bit too easily - dismissing the question without a thought. "Don't worry about me, I'll sleep better tonight, I'm sure."
He got up and dusted himself off. "Now come, we have to get ready to go again. Got your things together?" He picked up his blanket and shook it out, then rolled it up, looking for things to do so as not to look Lin in the eye.

Logically Lin thought she should consider this behaviour strange for Earendil, though he was looking for all this things so maybe it was not so strange.
She shook her head, "No.... I go get my stuff together, and give Senka her treat."
The young woman turned and went back to gather her things. She argued with herself that he was just gathering up his own things too, but why did she have the feeling he wanted to leave as soon as possible?

"Right," Earendil nodded.
Tinuviel and Aranel were packing their things together as well, and Regan was awake by now and wandering around in the carefree way that only a small child could. She spotted Lin and toddled over to her and helped her pick up her things, one at a time. "All go bye-bye?" she asked cheerfully.

Lin's bag was open on the ground, she was tossing some of the smaller things in. With a bag like hers she didn't have to worry as much making sure everything fit so she could close her bag since it was after all endless.
"Yup, everything is going away so we can travel again," Lin nodded patting Regan on the head.

Regan giggled up at Lin and helped her toss things into the bag, getting little handfuls of sand in with it. "In, in, in," she sang as she helped. "Wegan big hewp! Wight?"
She rubbed her eye with the back of her wrist. "San' in eye," she frowned.

"Oh!" Lin gently restrained Regan from rubbing her eyes, "Don't rub them it'll make it worse. Come.... we'll wash it out at the river okay?"
Deciding it would be easier to pick her up, Lin did so thankful that despite the height she was light and she wasn't yet at the age where she would be as tall or taller than Lin herself. Taking her to the river, Lin worked to try and clean Regan's eyes out the best she could.

Regan wrapped one arm around Lin's neck and held her tightly as Lin carried her to the river. As Lin washed her eyes out, she stuck out her tongue to catch the water as it dribbled down her chin.
"Yum," she giggled.

Lin giggled at that, "Very clean water isn't it?"
She stopped a bit and tilted Regan's chin up a bit so she could get a good look before letting go.
"Blink a few times and it should be good, then you can wipe it but lightly okay?"

Regan giggled and rubbed gently at her eyes. "Cyean wassah," she beamed. "Yum wassah." She wiped her eyes on Lin's shoulder. "Aww cyean! No mo' san'!"
She smiled at Lin. Her eyes were a little red now from the sand and from the rubbing, but clearly that wasn't bothering her anymore.

"That's good, and your eyes should clear up in a few minutes too," Lin nodded.
Otherwise it looked like Regan had been crying with her eyes a bit red like that. Hugging the little girl, Lin got up, still holding Regan to go back to packing her things. She didn't want to keep everyone waiting as they did say they would be leaving in the morning.

Tinuviel and Aranel were just finishing with packing their things, and when Lin came back with Regan, Tinuviel smiled and held her arms out to her. "It looks as though someone's already had their bath for today," she laughed, seeing the water on Regan's chin.
Regan stuck her tongue out. "No baf! Yum wassah!"
Tinuviel smiled. "Trouble?" she asked Lin, taking Regan from her.

"No trouble," Lin shook her head, "Regan just had a bit of sand in her eyes, so we went to the river to wash it out. It'll still be red a bit, but as long as she doesn't rub it...."
It was nothing serious but rubbing the eye with sand could damage it, which was why she had told Regan to not rub.

Tinuviel laughed and poked Regan in the stomach, teasing her in elvish. Regan giggled back at her, and Tinuviel smiled at Lin. "Well, thank you for that," she said warmly. "Anyways, I think the rest of us are about ready to go, how about you?"
Earendil was about to head over to help Lin (who was indeed the only one not ready, since she had taken the time to help Regan with the sand in her eyes) when he saw Levi heading over to do the same thing. Instead of helping, he moved to get the horses ready.
Levi smiled warmly at Lin. "Do you need any help?" he offered. "My family will be here a while yet, so I've time to help if you like."

"I only have a few more things to put into the bag," Lin replied softly, "But thank you for offering."
It wasn't that she didn't like Levi helping her (though admittedly she felt odd about the idea) but simply she still had her bedding to put away and she wasn't in the mood to explain to Levi exactly why one could shove her bedding without folding it tight into her bag. She had during the course of their conversation last night of course censored a lot of her background. Lin, as much as she hated to admitted wasn't comfortable in telling a complete stranger (more or less) that she was from a different world where humans and other races and magic were tightly intertwine.
"I better hurry though, I'm keeping everyone waiting," she added.
She hurried over to her stuff and proceeded to shove the rest of her things into her bag.

Levi smiled at Lin and stepped back. "Of course," he murmured softly, watching her as she finished packing her things. He had to admit, he was curious about how she was managing to fit her things into that bag of hers, the way she was doing it so easily without taking the time to fold things well ... but it was working for her.
