Emily took her hand out of her coat, leaving the gun inside. "Well, my head hurts, but I can hear just fine", she answered. Looked around, but didn't see the agent anywhere. "Where's the........agent?", she asked, almost saying something unsavory.

"Unconscious, tied up in the basement...we should be long gone by the time she wakes. Would you like something for your headache?" Kai stood turning to either go help Katie with packing, or get water and medicine for Miss.

"No,no, I'm fine", Emily said. She sat up, not showing the pain she was in. She went to the doorway of the basement and opened it. She walked down the staircase.

"Very well....and Katie burnt what documents the woman had with her so you don't need to worry.." Kai said as he watched her descend to the basement, then he went to help gather things.

Emily walked in, the darkness not a problem for her eyes. She walked up to the woman, eyeing the chain that held her to the water pipe. She kept a safe distance away, taking out her knife. It would be so simple to get rid of the problem right there.

Katie turned to see Kai packing up as well, "Is Emily resting well on the couch..?" She somewhat stared at him so that she could see his answer.. For some reason she had a slightly odd feeling call it cat's intuition if you will.

"No, I think she went down by that woman..." He was just packing things normally, then paused. "..now that I think about it, I shouldn't have let her know that.." Kai then glanced toward the basement.

Though she couldn't hear him, when he glanced towards the basement, Katie didn't hesitate to run down into the basement. When she saw Emily with her knife, "We mustn't sink down to their level. If you end her life another will come and they will truly believe you are a monster--though I still wouldn't." Katie then stood next to Emily to support whatever she decided. "But if you kill her they will come and most likely not with tranquilizers."

Emily turned to Katie, tears in her eyes. "I'm not going to kill her, I've done that alot and I'm starting to wonder about my actions". Emily looked at the agent again. "It would be so easy to but a bullet in her, or carve her neck. But it would be to easy". Turning back to Katie, she asked, "Are you aware what's happening overseas?".

Kai just let her go alone, guessing his being there would make it worse since he wasn't sure if Emily trusted him that much. He chuckled a bit when he thought her name, thinking it didn't quite fit her.. so he finished getting the things they could use.

Emily sighed, she couldn't vent her anger on someone who couldn't hear or someone who cared for her. That was a laughable concept to her, someone caring for her. Personally, she couldn't think of a reason for anyone to care for her. Heck, even Kai cared for her.

kiana stepped from her perch on the windowsill where she had been watching for a chance to break in, but the fight was too quick and close together to risk getting in the way. she looked over at kai. 'sorry i didnt help out. the disadvantage to having a 14 foot wingspan is that you dont do well in closed spaces. its good that you dont have many decorations, i would have broken an least one by now.'

Kai glanced at Falcon and half smiled, "It's alright, I want to help you guys, not just stand and have to do all the work. Plus that woman seemed to be after Miss, so the less they know about you and Katie the better." He tilted his head and chuckled, "Yes, that is a good thing I suppose."

Katie put a cloth over the head of the woman who Kai had tied up. Just in case--so that she didn't see anything and then put her hand on Emily's shoulder and smiled warmly as she guided her up the stairs. "Come, help me finish packing so we can get out of here before your 'nemisis' wakes up." And then once they were out of the basement, she turned off the light in the basement and closed the door behind them. It was just after she shut the door that she fell back against the door, unconscious. It seems she had used all her strength with everything she had done since she reawakened, and her body was so exhausted that it finally forced her into a deep sleep. It was also clear that her ears were still bleeding.
